WAGS Shopping June 24th It's Toothpaste Week

I had more RRs to roll before they expired, so I hit WAGS this past Wednesday when I was out taking daughter to the Orhtodontist.
The only Freebie this week was the Aquafresh Toothpaste. I didn't have any Aquafresh Qs for the Sunday inserts and only could manage 2 measly IP Qs.....so not so much Toothpaste for me this week. I've only got about......150 tubes, so no worries! ;-))

  1. hey I have a question. On your top right sidebar it says your total savings for the year is @$11,000. Is that what you have saved with your deals or actual savings put into an acccount?

  2. Crystal,
That 11K is cash money that I've saved after bills each month and have put into an account. It's not the money I've saved on my deals....well, in a way, some of it is, because doing the deals frees up the money to sock away, right?lol
I don't track a cummulative amount of how much I save(on paper)each month from the deals, but maybe I should. The Savings Challenge is part of a challenge I am participating in on a specific email list I belong to. I actually started this blog to keep track of that Challenge savings and it just grew into what it is today.

I've been financially frugal for many years so I'm an old hand at socking away the cash and living within my means. Maybe I should do some posts about financial matters? I wonder if that would interest anyone....
Thanks for commenting and thanks too for reading!

  3. WOW! Impressive as always :) I'm really surprised at the 75-cent discount price on the One-A-Day drink mixes. I've wanted to try those (I love drink mixes in my water, for some reason), but Wal Mart wants too much for them even with the Qs. Too bad there's no WAGS near here (amazing, too, since we seem to have every other chain store in the area)...
