2020 First Quarter.....Small Economies Report

The first quarter of 2020 is in the books now.
Let's see where some of my small pots of savings look like so far.
These stats are all effective as of March 31, 2020.

*  Rolled coins--$3.00

*  Found Change--$44.69  Finding money is the best!  Nobody can argue with that, right? 8-))

*  Refunds & "Post Coupons"--$37.20 Mostly Weis(PMITA)Markets and Rite-Aid.

*  Cash Rebates--
   * Ibotta--$139.99
   * SavingStar--$9.00
   * Checkout51--$0.00
   * ShopAtHome--$15.95(I think I need $20 to cash out of this.)

Total.........$233.88 (not counting ShopAtHome-With SAH it's $249.83) to put toward the grocery spending in December.

Do you stash non-income money aside to put toward a goal?
Tell us about it and what strategies work for you in savings money!

  1. I do but now it's pretty much limited to Swagbucks for Christmas. No more rolled change as almost no where is taking cash these days. Our fun fund can't be spent this year so it is being rolled into a garden/yard fund. We bought $40 worth of dirt so far...cause that's how we roll :)

  2. That's a very nice amount! I do stash my non-income, but am working on a different plan this year. I need to total my earnings.

  3. I'd like to do more of the set aside, and once life resumes a new pattern and hopefully all in my family are gainfully working again, we can do so. My biggest priority is towards the hosue right now, and at least a small get away or two.
