  4. I am keeping positive by staying in my office or my bedroom and away from family... ;) And eating the Twin Bings stash all by myself.
Put me in the running baby!

  5. Trying to remind myself that these times are precious with the kids and am focusing on that extra time to play games/throw the football with them/etc in between hearing "MOm, mom, mom, mom, mom, mommy, mom, mommy, mom..." all day long. LOL

  12. Hi! I'm keeping positive by limiting how much info I take in (keep informed but not overloaded), walking each day, connecting with family and friends (colored eggs with my adult kids via messenger video tonight), keeping busy with home projects and fun projects (try for a bit each day!)
    Thanks! Debbie

  21. Even though I am an accountant I have been deemed "essential" so I am going to work every day. That at least forces me to shower & get dressed!!

  22. Oh, what a neat idea, Sluggy. You are so creative. Please don't count me in the running since I've won in the past. I just wanted to tell you that I thought this was a great idea. :)

  23. I think just getting the box would be a mood-lifter! And the contents too, absolutely, but just the fact of receiving it. Here in NJ the infection rate and fear level are high. Sometimes my fellow humans here make me almost as nervous as the virus. But I am positive that we will overcome come this, though I believe it will take a long time.

  24. Perfect give away goodies! I’m a homebody, so the quarantine isn’t bothering me too much. I keep a hand sewing project going and I’m watching a lot of tv!

  25. I am pulling weeds in the yard - small doses. What a trifecta. Weeds are diminished, I get exercise, and I get some sun (Vitamin D). Who knew pulling weeds was so fun!

  26. Yesterday spent some positive time in the kitchen! I baked a snack cake for the kids (sneaking in a rutabaga!) and made butternut squash for the first time and Ben ate almost the entire squash himself! LOL

  27. Happy Good Friday. I hid a bag of shrimp in the freezer so we are having shrimp scampi for dinner with homemade bread and pasta. Yum. Stay healthy everyone.

  28. I have pretty much stopped watching the national news in the evening. Was driving me crazy. aerodog@zbzoom.net

  29. I am staying positive by counting all of the many blessings that I have in my life. I am a teacher and although I can't be in my actual classroom, modern technology allows me to connect with my little second graders via video and through ClassDojo. Also, I get to spend lots of time with my 25 year old daughter since she is also working from home and came here to stay with me for the duration...time I would not otherwise get with her since she lives 4 hours away normally.

  30. I am just doing nothing in particular to be positive. I still have to do the same things every day and cannot do the same things.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Staying positive by really limiting the news. I'm trying to shield my young kids from all the chaos, but I've found it actually really helps me too!

    ReplyDelete
  32. The only positive for today is I am alive which is a good thing but I feel like I am in Groundhog day movie with no end.aerodog@zbzoom.net

  33. I am cooking and baking again. Also walking the dogs several times a day.

  34. I try to stay positive by getting outside and soaking up some Vitamin D....also so far my Community Garden where I have a plot is still open and in a leap of faith I ordered seedlings...I really need that garden this year!

  38. Today a friend gave me a ride to a small park at a pond that is still open and we took a walk..I have walked briefly in my neighborhood every day but this was green, with ducks and geese and a change of scenery. It gave me more pleasure than I could have imagined a month ago.

  40. Since both my kids and all my grandkids live 10 hours away in Atlanta I don't get to see them a whole lot. I had a trip planned at the end of March but of course that didn't happened. What has really helped me to stay positive is that they have been extra good at sending pictures and videos of the girls (ages 5 & 2) and the new English Mastiff puppy. We also Facetime quite a bit. Not the same as being there but it sure helps!

  41. Today is raining and I am finding it harder to keep my spirits up....since this thing began I notice I am more weather-dependent or sun-dependent...no sun and the anxiety rises....gotta distract myself with some decluttering :-). Thanks again for the giveaway!

  42. Keeping busy by texting and calling family and friends more often. Sure beats cleaning for fun.

  45. Trying to stay positive. Yesterday was hard-- missed being with family; Rebecca had an emotional breakdown about missing school and friends. It was just a hard day. Tried to keep my spirits up by baking and cooking and focusing on the fact that I can actually cook things that take time as we are not rushing around each evening. Hope you had a good weekend!

  46. Staying positive by throwing heart and soul into taking care of a beautiful Easter lily gifted to me by my neighbor. I kill ALL PLANTS but this one is so lovely so I'm really doing my best.

  47. Trying to come up with creative crafts to do with things on hand. What has come to mind? Paper mache - I have flour, water, and just started a newspaper subscription - so, that too. So many neat things can be made - bowls, sculptures - pretty cool stuff. Oh, and I have paint to jazz any creation up. Hmmm.
