If you're not a registered Blogger User with your contact information on your User page, please put your email addy in your comment or email me your email addy privately when you leave a comment so I can get a hold of you. If your Blogger associated user profile is a GOOGLE one make sure your email info is linked to your profile.

If I can't contact you then you can't win.  I am still having to disqualify entries due to this issue and I sure don't like doing that.  Thanks!

  5. My major summer project is getting my youngest ready to go off to college. We have been going through everything in the house. She has almost everything she needs. She did get a few gift cards for graduation so she can use those to buy the few things she still needs. She loves face masks and makeup so she would grab those. I love the chocolate.

  6. Our summer 'fun' consists of remodeling for my son. Haha! I don't mind as we are doing this in preparation for a new grandbaby! (caseowens1@gmail.com) Do I need to put this address on each entry?

  7. I'd love to try the Hydralyte. I typically use Nuun for runs or relays, but haven't heard of the Hydralyte.

Summer projects include: photo books (13 years, but who's counting), replacing all of our doors, dealing with rotting wood at our vacation house, & who knows what else will come up!

  15. So glad you're back in action! One of my summer hobbies is trying my hand at gardening. I finally have 2 tomatoes and my apricot tree just gave us a boatload of fruit! Success!

Also, glad you're back at blogging!

  17. Since I retired a year plus ago, I have been slowly decluttering....emphasis on slow. It’s so hard to get rid of stuff, but easier if I can give it away and think it will be used. So not just a summer project - a year long project. Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

  18. Summer project? Finish reading one book. I've started a couple...but can't seem to stay interested to finish one. Kim N.

  19. We've finally gotten one chandelier up. Now to sell the light fixture we took down, and to install the second. Progress, progress!

  22. Hi, Sluggy!

During Summer I enjoy Farmer’s Market visits that bring corn on the cob, “ugly” tomatoes, and rich basil.

  23. What a generous offer! This summer I've been cleaning up little stockpiles of to-do lists, such as cleaning blinds, processing vegetables we've harvested in the garden, catching up on reading, but mostly going through my mother-in-law's recipe clippings she passed on to me. Anything that sounds like something we'd like is organized in a Word document and the piles of paper are going to recycling. I've tried some of them and found a new favorite (crawfish etoufee). Soon it will be time to help son #3 and family move into a new house, and welcome the newest grand baby from son #2.

  30. So many summer projects that need to be done and so little energy to tackle them :) Spent the last week with 5 grandkids at church camp - best week of the year!

  31. What a great giveaway:) I pretty much could use everything in this package. I'd give the acne wash and men's deodorant to the hubby; he fell off a ladder and broke bones in both arms so he's not working for several weeks and I now have THREE babies to take care of! That's my big summer project, lol.

  49. My favorite part of summer this year is my Rhubarb plants. lol. I am a simple person! They make me happy and I can eat Rhubarb to my hearts content or make it into yummy desserts. Also freeze it for winter goodies. Oh and my raspberry plants (year 2 - a friend sent them to me from Kentucky 2 years ago) Finally producing some berries. Of course I have to fight the birds for them but they are sooooo good! Next year should be an even bigger crop. Take care. CrystalHankey@yahoo.com

  50. The yard has been our biggest summer project so far, but we're planning on tackling painting the downstairs bathroom next!

  51. Summer mini-tragedy: something is eating my enormous rhubarb plant. Some kind of beetle. Chomp chomp. Can’t seem to get rid of them.

  52. M&M's are always a big hit at my house and of course you have to brush your teeth after you eat them!

  60. Fun summer project is having people over for a party of sorts. It’s tomorrow and we’ll have boxed wine, snacks and good times in my inflatable pool!

    Jen G.

  61. Loving - being able to sit down and read this last week. Broke my big toe when I tripped over some crap in my husbands office. I won't be venturing in there any time soon. Chaos. But trying to see the good side. Get to sit and read which I love to do and not feel one bit guilty. Hurts too much to stand for very long. lol.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Best part of summer so far is yet another free box of wine today! I think this has finally made up for all the over charges at that store.

    Jen G.

  63. I think those Hydralyte hydration tablets look interesting! I wish I could try them right now since I'm on a totally liquid diet!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Just came back from a summer picnic where I gorged on strawberries, cherries, watermelon and other summer foods. That is really one of the joys of this season.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well, my Summer project was not a fun one. I had to shop for a replacement car. My husband totaled his van so we were down to my 16yr old car that is litterly held together with duct tape. (I kid you not) I shopped mostly online and ended up buying a 2014 Subaru with low mileage, It is perfect!

We had really negelected the yard and have spent some time setting things right.

I loved the wonderful assortment in your giveaway box. I really need that hair repair product. I have spent too much time in the pool and my hair is in need of help.

My favorite summer food is Corn on the cob! We have had good corn and great sales (6 ears for $1.00 !) I like using the grill several times a week.

  66. Another summer highlight was introducing a friend to the joy of boxed wine last night. She hadn’t had a drink in 8 years but decided to join us for a “wild party.” The party consisted of sitting around talking and cooling off in my little inflatable pool. 😁

She spent the night and on our couch so no safety concerns. We have plenty of space so I try to stop everyone from drinking and driving.
