ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to "work" the deals. Den and I went(me with a hangover and pounding headache!) and we did ok. The problem was we needed some sinus pills and a birthday cars. We went to CVS and Walgreens. At CVS, you can use the buy 1 toothbrush get one free and get $8 cat back. And Walgreens, has the buy 1 get 1 on a shampoo with a free mail in rebate. I'm learning slowly. SO without the $7 pills and the $2.50 card. We spend $15.50 and we are getting $6 back.
One day, I hope to make you proud! That is what I'm striving for.
I'm again working on my food budget. Den is really starting to get on board, it really is a gift. I've been going over ever category and some I can only get so low. I've asked other people around here that are tight and I think that our gas and electric is really low.
We pay almost 3 extra house payments a year. Our house payment is $1150 and with the biweekly payments, it is $1300. I just got a letter and our taxes went up again. It is obscene! It's only $4 a week but still, we are way over $5000 now.
Sorry to pour my heart out just needed to catch my sister up!
