Frugal Friday.........the July 5th Edidtion

There are very few Frugal wins over the past week.

*   I grabbed a few things at Kroger this week after my eye appointment......

The Bugles were $1.73 after offers and Ibotta for both, The cereals were $2.23 for both after offers and Ibotta for both, the Rock Stars were a $1.66 moneymaker after $5 rebate.  You can do this offer all year every other week if you want.  Just go to  "discover.gotoaisle.com/referral/kq98hepHXk", sign up, buy 2 Rock Star drinks and text a photo of your receipt to the number they text you back.  Rock Stars are regularly $1.88 at Walmart and $1.25 at the Dollar Tree if nobody else has them on sale the week you can buy them.
The Finish tabs were .99¢ after offers and Ibotta, the Powerade was free with a Best Customer Coupon, The Stem mosquito spray was a $1.51 moneymaker, the Barilla Pesto sauce was free after offers and Ibotta, the 4 Mott's soft baked bars were $1.96 total for all 4 after offers(2 had $1/2 peelie coupons on them) and Ibotta, the O.B, tampons were $1.75 on clearance and another dollar off on Mega Sale, the 3 Elvive conditioners were .75¢ each after clearance and another dollar off on Mega Sale and the 1 Elvive shampoo was .92¢ after clearance and another dollar off on Mega Sale.  Along with the produce I bought that day I spent $20.45 OOP.

2 of the Motts bars, the tampons, the dish tabs, Rock Star drinks and the Reese's cereal are all headed into the food bank donation box.  Maybe the shampoo and conditioners as well. 8-))

*  I messaged the Orthopedist about how that injection last week didn't help and maybe I should wait until I got back from Virginia to take any other actions.  This injection just made my shoulder feel worse but he still wants me to come in and talk about this....and pay him another $20 co-pay to do so. 8-(  I don't see the point as I am NOT going to let him give me another injection now so maybe I'll reschedule this appointment for after I get back from Virginia?

*  Remember that $15 gift card for 2nd place we won at Trivia last week?.....

Well we went back this past Wednesday to use the gift card and play trivia.  There were huge teams of 9 and 10 and lots of folks playing.  We still won 2nd place-AGAIN!  lol  We would have taken 1st place but Hubs didn't kick in the answer to the last Bonus question until it was too late to get our paper to the moderator.  Dang it!  We were laughing our heads off beating these big old teams and we weren't even trying too hard to win. 8-)

*  I found money!  It wasn't a great week for found coins but at least I didn't get skunked.

I found a penny at the dirty Kroger walking through their vestibule to leave that store on Wednesday.

Total Found last week.... .01¢

Grand Total Found this Year.......$5.15 & 5.30 Euros

That's all I got.

Any frugal wins in your neck of the woods?  Let's hear all about them!

Great Deals Lately at the Grocery Stores

The end of Last week I picked up a few deals at Kroger .....

It was time again for free Rock Star Energy drinks.  Bought at Walmart for $1.88 each these were a .24¢ moneymaker.  The Mac & Roni mixes were $1 each and I got .50¢ back from Ibotta on each box. rah.  All this is bound for the food bank so not coming out of my food budget.

Then it was off to Kroger.....ugh......

The coffee drink was free after Ibotta and KCB(and I actually got the KCB!), The 5 boxes of Cheezit Snap'd were on sale for $2.50(when you bought at least 2)and I got $1 back on Ibotta for each and $1 back on KCB for each, making them .49¢ for each back.  We may keep a couple if Hubs wants them but otherwise they and the coffee drink are food bank bound.  We also picked up asparagus, min cukes, blueberries and strawberries on sale, some clearance produce(mushrooms, 2 Salad kits, a piece of Salmon and refrigerated Buitoni Ravioli)for us to eat.

The 4 Dove body washes, the Dove deodorant, the Crest toothpaste and the Scope mouthwash were all part of the "Spend $15/Get $5 Off Instantly Deal".  Total for all was $37.93 after Qs and the Spend $15/$5 Deal.  I got $28 back from Ibotta and $12 back from KCB(which I got!!), making this a $2.07 moneymaker.

I was suppose to get a $3 On Your Next Order Catalina and here it what came out of the Catalina machine....

Seems my Kroger doesn't bother to put ink in their Catalina machines at the checkout machines. 8-(  So I am awaiting an email response from the Catalina Corporation.  If I get this Q for the Cheez-it Snap'ds that would make them a small .55¢ moneymaker.

Moving on.......

After PT on Tuesday we hit up Kroger and I found 2 1lb. packs of meatballs marked down to $3.05(can't make meatballs for that price!), a pack of hamburgers for $3.36(20 oz.).  Hubs is on that low fiber diet this week so I picked up a bag of potatoes on sale(one of the few veggies he can eat)and I got myself a bag of sweet potatoes on sale.  I also picked up 2 salad kits for me and bananas for Hubs, as well as some "Nut Juice" for him to have in his cold breakfast cereal and it had an Ibotta rebate. ;-)

We found these clearance items too.....

2 large jars of Olives for $1.91 each, a bottle of Kinder Peach Bourbon Sauce for $2.49(I had a $1 digital coupon so $1.49 for that)and a large canister of Potato Starch(can use in the place of Corn Starch)for $2.92.

I picked up these two Chobani Creations on clearance and they had a .75¢ rebate on Ibotta so after that they cost me .43¢ total.

Today I picked up a salad bowl on clearance and all this........

The only things we are keeping is the small wet dog food pack and the Wild Turkey bourbon(for Hubs).  All the feminine products, the 2 deodorants and the 4 candy packs are headed to the food bank.  All that was $92.90.  I used a free Shop Kick $25 gift card making it $67.90 OOP.

I earned rebates as follows--

*$34.50 Ibotta
*$8.00 Shopmium
*$3.00 Checkout 51
*16.52 Swag Bucks
*4.49 Aisle
*21.60 worth of Pts. on Shop Kick
That's $88.11 in rebates on $28.25 worth of items we are keeping.
Nice.

Some Ibotta Hauls & Winning At The Grocery Store Games

Going to the Grocery Store is not for the faint of heart anymore.  You have to keep a keen eye out so you don't get overcharged.

I may be a mild-mannered Senior Citizen but in my mind's eye I am something like the photo above. lol

These Ibotta rebate trips were done recently, in the past week.  Last Friday I got these items.....

$31.69 OOP.

I earned $22.25 from Ibotta(including the Weekend Bonus and .50¢ Bonus for Silk)and earned $2.75 in Kroger Cash Back so $6.69 spent.
The Gatorade tablets were on clearance for $3.06 each and had $2 rebates on Ibotta. $1.06 is a great price so this item and much cheaper than buying the bottles of Gatorade. The Almond milk was .59¢ after Ibotta, the Silk Bonus and KCB.  The 2 Good Yogurt Drinks were .89¢ each after Ibotta and KCB.  The Claritin was another clearance find-a $30.99 reg. priced box for $13.02.  I had a $4/1 Claritin digital coupon and got another $4 Ibotta rebate so that cost me $5.02. 8-)))

I also picked up these........

2 x Blue Buffalo Nudges dog treats at $12.99.  They were BOGO and there is a free up to $15 rebate offer from the manufacturer so FREE dog treats for the puppies when the rebate comes in.
Here's the rebate link....https://www.bluebags4wags.com/

Then on Sunday I picked up this stuff to finish my Weekend Bonus.....

This all cost me $43.56(plus 2 x Reese's Ice Cream Cone packs not pictured).  I got back $21.50 from Ibotta(16.50+ $5 Weekend Bonus), full manufacture's price of $3.28 for the drink mix from Social Nature, $2.80 worth of points on Fetch for the Fast Twitch Drink and the ice cream(unfortunately the Points for the Arm and Hammer laundry detergent disappeared from my account before I bought that but I still got $5 on Ibotta for it)and 1,265 Shop Kicks(for the Kotex and Kinder chocolate bar)worth $5.06 and $6 from Alexa(L'Oreal, Kotex and Fast Twitch).  The L'Oreal face moisturizer was a $1.58 moneymaker after Ibotta and Shopmium.  All totaled I spent $43.56 OOP and got back $38.64.  Most of that $4.92 spent in the end was on the laundry detergent($1 on the Made Good/$3.92 on the A&H product).  Not a bad outcome.
The pads and the Made Good granola snacks will be part of my next food bank donation.

Working on the MidWeek Bonus and got this at Kroger on Tuesday.........

$42.92 OOP  $19.50 earned from Ibotta, $2.55 earned on Fetch, $2 from Tada=$24.05 back making all this $18.87. *(My $2 off 1 Extra cereal digital coupon didn't attach so I chatted this morning with CS at Kroger and they credited my account $2 for that.)

The best 'deal' here is the Alba brand sunscreen I found in the clearance aisle-marked down to $2.87 a tube and I had a $5 off 2 rebate, making them .74¢ combined.  Sweet!  Down here the sun is not your friend in the Summer or "Hell's Front Porch" as I refer to that season here.

I was 1 item away from earning a $5 Ibotta Bonus so since Hubs had to go to Walmart this morning and my L'Oreal face moisturizer rebate reset I had him pick this up........

$6.42 with a $5 Ibotta rebate and a $5 Midweek Bonus.  I thought I had another $3 digital coupon offer as well on one of my rebate apps but even without it, it's a deal.

There was also a glitch deal on the Kroger toilet paper this past week.  It was marked BOGO on the shelf and I had a digital store coupon making them $3.99 each after taking off $3.50 on up to 5 items.
Of course they just rang up $3.99 so I took a picture of the shelf tag and went to customer service for a price adjustment as two of my four packs should have been free.  The nonplussed woman tried to tell me the shelf tag was out of date but I enlarged the photo and showed her it was current, expiring that day.

Customer Service lady refunded $7.98 to my credit card making 4 packs of tp $7.98 total or $1.99+ each.  Nice.
Sometimes it takes work and alertness to win at the grocery store wars.  And trust me, you have to go in there in warrior mode. ;-)

Frugal Friday.....the January 7th Edition

So here are a few of the frugal-ish things that happened here this past week.......

*   No food waste so far. ;-)  The VA ham got cut off the bone and the bone will be utilized in a ham and bean soup soon.  Lots of the ham went into the freezer as well.  We have a few bits and bobs from the Holiday to polish off for lunches and snacking still.

*  I did a few Rite-Aid transactions this week.......

I still have to figure the finally number on this(maybe tomorrow?).  Basically I cashed out mostly or fully on 3 cards, utilizing Bonus Cash and a free R-A gift card.  I got a little BC back on 2 of the cards plus I got Ibotta rebates, a Swag Bucks rebate and Coupons dotcom monies.

*  I forgot to mention I sold something the previous week on eBay, the day after Christmas.  I had a different person offer me 25% LESS for this item the week before Christmas with the caveat that I could guarantee it's arrival by Christmas.  As I am not in charge of the USPS that was a hard no.  Plus this person had NO feedback and had just signed up the day they tried to buy the item. lol  Just goes to show you, don't jump at the first offer since I got full asking price from the other buyer. ;-)

*  I got a bag of almost free dog food at Walmart from Shop Kick.....

I paid $5.98 + tax, got $4.08 back on SK and $2 back on Coupon dotcom, so it cost me .28¢ in sale tax.

*  I bought 10 bags of this on NYE at Walmart when everything Xmas went to 75% off.......

10 bags of pecans in the shell for .50¢ each so $5 total.  These normally got there for $3.98 a bag so these were a great deal because we all know how expensive pecans are, right?! ;-)

*  I also bought this stuff at Walmart yesterday to finish off my Weekend $5 Ibotta Bonus....

The only thing missing is the box of Entenmann's mini cakes(which Hubs took).  The Palmer's shampoo and the 2 Revlon items weren't Ibotta offers but were on clearance and gave me $1.55 in overage after coupons.  The Palmer's shampoo WAS an Ibotta offer but also on clearance of $1.09 so that gave me $1.82 in overage as well.  I think the $1 Bumble Bee tuna pouch attached to the any soup offer as well as the .25¢ BB tuna offer.  I spent $4.39(.30¢ of that was sales tax)in cash after $20 in free SK and Ibotta gift cards.  I earned $16.38(including the weekend bonus and the .03¢ back for using $5 in Ibotta funds to buy a gift card-which also gave me an item toward my bonus)for this transaction.

*  I stayed home 4 of the last 7 days so I didn't spend anything then.

*  While I was out that way I hit the Produce Market instead of going to Weis(PMITA)in my town as foodstuffs there are much cheaper except for Weis loss leaders. I probably saved double what I spent there on fresh veggies and lunchmeat.
On a very sad note, I went to the shop next door to the Produce Market, my Bread Outlet only to find that is was GONE!! argh  Let's all bow our heads in mourning for that.  Having to pay full retail for bread products might just kill me.......*sniff*

*   I found money!

Both of these pennies at my Rite-Aid, one in the store....

The other in the parking lot.  Guess which one is which. lol

After hitting a R-A in a nearby town I hit Burger King there for a $2 Whopper deal on my app(using my free gift card to pay so there's a win within a win).
Under the drive-thru counter proved to be a honey hole of change!  I was able to scoop up most of it while the cashier tried to run my BK gift card(BK gift cards always take awhile to work).  Mostly pennies but throw in a dime and a nickel and I was up .24¢ there.

Then on Thursday I hit another R-A trying to use up my Bonus Cash before it expired/the snow came and found this dime by the front counter.  Yes!

Total Found in last Week...... .36¢
Total Found This Year...... .36¢

Not a bad start for 2022!

That's about all I've got for this week.

Any frugal wins in your neck of the woods?  Let's hear all about them!

Rite-Aid Shopping This Last Week

I already posted about getting this stuff last week........

I did the Mix n' Match cosmetic deal on son's card and got three bags of 75% off coffee, spending $9.04 in Bonus Cash and earning $10 in new BC for buying the cosmetic items.  Better than free cosmetics and coffee.....Great deal!

I had a free day on Friday(and I had to go out to P and R anyway which puts me near 3 more Rite-Aids)so I hit more Rite-Aids to see what 75% food clearance I could find.  Most of it was still marked 50% off so I found quite a bit. Here is everything I found from all the stores....

11 x bags of coffee $1.69 each=$18.59
3 x bottles of Worcestershire sauce .69¢ each=$2.07
2 x cans of tomato paste .39¢ each=.78¢
2 x canisters of golden raisins $1.62 each=$3.24
3 x 2 lb. bags of brown rice $1.24 each=$3.72
Total of $28.40 OOP

The regular retail on all this would have been $114.19(not that I would have EVER paid those prices! lol).

(I actually bought 12 bags of coffee but I gave one to the brother in-law so I didn't count that one in my food spending.)
If you have a Rite-Aid it's worth checking out their "Wild Harvest" organic private label brands as they seem to be reducing which items they will continue to stock.

While in one store I also did the Mix n' Match cosmetics deal again on my card(it's a limit of 1 deal per card/account).........

These 3 Cover Girl items came to $16.82 after 20% off Wellness Disc. and sales tax.
I used 3 x $3/1 Cover Girl IPQs(2 x face, 1 x eye and of course they all beeped because CG Qs always beep)so $9 off make this all $7.82 paid for with Bonus Cash.
But my $10 in BC for the deal didn't appear on my receipt. Argh!  So I had to call Corporate the next morning and get that fixed.
Which meant the deal I wanted to do on Saturday on this card I didn't have those $10 in BC back until Sunday, the day after the sale.  Argh again!

But I did another deal on Saturday anyway as I still have some BC on that card and I supplemented with a free R-A gift card(earned in Dec. of 2018 during the Beauty Deals month).........

3 x Tide $5.94 ea on sale=$17.82
3 x Pantene $3.83 Wellness disc. better than sale price=$11.49
1 x Febreeze cleaner on sale=$2.99
SubTotal.........$32.30

Coupons Used
1 x $4/wys $20 snail mailed R-AQ=$4.00
1 x $2/1 Tide L2CQ=$2.00
1 x $2/1 Tide IPQ=$2.00
1 x $2/1 Tide pods IPQ=$2.00
1 x $3/3 Pantene insert Q=$3.00
Coupon Total.......$13.00

Except, there was a $1/1 Tide pods L2CQ that also came off and didn't "unattach" when I used my printed $2/1 Tide Pod Q.  Both Qs printed off the PandGSaver site beeped(well now we know why the Tide Pod one did! lol)so the cashier had to manually push them through.
This all means I got $14 in Q off my total instead of $13.

$32.30-$14.00=$18.30+.98¢ tax=$19.28 Total.
I used a combination of gift card and BC to pay and received $10 in new BC back.  Then on Sunday morning the $10 from the cosmetics fiasco showed up so I have $20 in BC on this card.

I went back to R-A on Sunday for the new ad and to do the Suave Deal and the Oral-B Deal........

1 x Suave men's body wash BOGO50%=$2.59
1 x Suave men's deodorant BOGO50%=$1.29
2 x Oral-B toothbrush twin pack=$6.00*
SubTotal....$9.88

Coupons Used
1 x $2/1 Oral-B battery or twin pack L2CQ=$2.00
2 x $2/1 Oral-B twin pack in-adQ=$4.00
Coupon Total......$6.00

$9.88-$6.00=$3.88+ .11¢ sales tax=$3.99 paid for with Bonus Cash
I earned back $2 in new BC for buying 2 Suave items.
I also earned $1.60 in cash rebates on Ibotta(2 x .50¢-for each Suave item bought, .50¢ Suave Bonus for buying 2 different items, .10¢ for buying anything at R-A).
So spent $3.99, got back $3.60 in BC/cash meaning I spent .39¢ in BC for everything above.
Nice.

* This type of twin pack toothbrushes(Indicator type)were also tagged on sale for $6 if you bought 2.  None of the other twin packs were on sale(except for your Wellness Discount)so after Qs these were free at that price point.

I am hoping that before Saturday the Suave rebates will be back in my gallery and I can do this deal again if I can find the products still on the shelves down in the R-As near my brother's house.

Have you done any Rite-Aid shopping lately?

Frugal Friday.....the September 13th Edition

Frugal Friday is also Friday the 13th this week.
Grab a drink and a chair because this week's FF is long....Oh boy!!!

Here's what frugalisciousness happened this past week..........

* Here's what I bought at Rite-Aid last Friday, "the week of free toothpaste/toothbrushes/mouth wash and marshmallow/chocolates".........

The Crest toothpaste and candy were all free after Qs and Bonus Cash.

I also cashed in a rain check from 2018 for Hello toothpaste.  With that rain check it was free(as it was from a Buy for $5/Get $5 BC back deal).  In addition, if you bought 2 this past week you got $5 BC back(a new Deal)so those two tubes cost me nothing and gave me $5 BC back.
Sweet. 8-)

*  I made a rare trip to Target and used some of that $300 Target gift card I bought last November...........

$3.15 for the chicken w/a $3 off sticker
$1.59 for a Stubb's bbq sauce(50% off cartwheel)
$2.16 for 2 jars of clearance peanut butter
$7.00 for 3 boxes of granola bars(I used a .50¢/2 ManuQ)
Came to 13.90 and I deducted the 10% discount I received when I purchased the gift card so $12.51 total to add to my grocery tally for September.

*  Those nature Valley granola bars are also part of the gift card deal at Target too.......

Buy 3 participating General Mills items and get a $5 Target gift card.
Go HERE for details.  This offer runs through 1/14/20.

*  I found money!

Last Friday at Weis this penny was found by one of the self-checkout registers.

These three pennies were found in three different parts of my Rite-Aid store--1 by register #1, 1 by register #2 and 1 in the foyer area as I was leaving the store.
They all found a good home here with me at Chez Sluggy.

This dime was found in my local Shursave Market past the registers by the exit door.  FDR left the building in my pocket......

Then I found this $2 in the dryer............

Any money found in the washer/dryer reverts to me per Sluggy House Rules. 8-))
$2.14 into my Found Money envie.  8-)))

*  Here are some good deals I found at Weis(PMITA)Markets last Friday........

Everything in the photo but the sugar was 50% off on clearance.
The sugar is a new hybrid(50% white sugar/50% brown sugar)they call "Golden Sugar".  After a .75¢/1 doubled to $1.50/1 Domino Q it cost me .50¢ OOP.

I got 2 more 4 packs of tuna($2.99)and 3 more large cans of chicken breast(.75¢ each)except the cashier who pulled my cart over to the self-checkout and was ringing everything up for me was going so fast one of the cans didn't register so I ended up only paying for 2 cans of this. ;-)
They also have tins of anchovies(pizza and Caesar salad here I come!)for $1 each so I got 4 and a Salted Caramel Brownie mix for $1.29 each.  Ex-College Boy will go wild for those!

Along with everything else I bought on that trip, my total came to $35.18 OOP.
But I used this..........

A $15 prepaid card earned back in March at Rite-Aid that expires the end of September to pay for some of this transaction so my OOP was $20.18 at Weis.  The regular retail on everything on that trip would have been $98.10 if I had paid shelf price there.
Nice.

*  I got the Freebie last Friday at Weis......

Weis brand dipping sauce so I selected a bottle of  "Yum Yum" sauce.  Totally Free.

*  I received $7.44 in Ibotta rebates(.20¢, .25¢ and $6.99 for a 3/17/19 hotel stay-which I had to bitch about to finally get it to credit!)and $1 in a SavingStar rebate(Farm Rich frozen item).

*  I continue to pick tomatoes(cukes are done, and I'm getting teeny tiny broccoli heads still)in mass.

This isn't the current batch because I didn't take a photo before throwing them into the freezer but it's representative. lolz
I am up to 20.209 pounds of tomatoes harvested.  Besides canning them we've been eating them fresh in BLTs and salads or just sliced on a plate with a bit of salt sprinkled on them.
We grew Cherokee Purples among the varieties this year and they are so good eaten fresh!
Paying retail in the grocery store for 20 lbs. of tomatoes is OBSCENE for what they would charge for a tomato that tastes terrible.  I will miss "real" tomatoes when they are done for the year.  8-(((

*  On Labor Day I found a deal where 3 coupon codes stacked(2 Labor Day codes + a Spend $25/Get $10 off code).
Some housewares were on sale and there was no shipping if you picked up at the store.  Of course 4 of the items weren't in stock at my store so I had to have them shipped to the store so I couldn't pick it all up until THIS week and show it to y'all.

Sorry for the crap poor photo but I haven't had time to take it all out and arrange it nicely for a picture. lolz
It's 6 pillows, 8 bath sheets and 4 hand towels.
The 8 bath sheets were ordered in a separate transaction from the rest so I could use that $10 wyspend $25 coupon code twice.
8 bath sheets on sale for $3.99(reg. $9.99)
$31.92
I got $19.51 in discounts so with .74¢ sales tax all 8 cost me $13.15 OOP.

Then I ordered the 6 pillows and 4 hand towels separately.
Pillows were $3.99(reg. $9.99)and hand towels were $2.99(reg. $7.99), subtotal of $35.90.
I got $20.94 in discounts so with .90¢ sales tax all 10 items cost me $15.86 OOP.
Total OOP with tax was $29.01 for everything.
Reg. retail of $171.82 so I am good with spending under $30 for new pillows for all the beds and a complete set of towels in FABULOUS colors. lolz

And I got some change back(something like .22¢ lolz) from ordering through ShopAtHome website.
I guess when you don't spend much you don't get much in a rebate. ;-)

That's it from here this week.

What frugal wins did y'all have this week?
Tell us all about them!

Frugal Friday.....the December 7th Edition

Let's see what frugal goodness happened around Chez Sluggy this past week.........

*  I forgot to mention this last month--I printed out my $5 eVisa card.

This was earned from buying 4 SC Johnson items(Glade/Ziploc/etc)in one transaction earlier in November.

*  Speaking of rebates I earned $46.20 in variousIbotta cash rebates this past week.  $24 of that was for those Neutrogena lip balms(6 x $4)and a bit was on Olay(2 x $3)and waiting for that particular rebate to appear back on my list of eligible ones.  A small piece was for items bought at Weis(Life cereal and Ajax dish soap).  I earned $1 on SavingStar also.
A good week for rebating here! ;-)

*  I found some money!

Waiting in the drive-thru line at Mickey D's on Sunday I spied 2 pennies next to the building.  The line was very sloooooow so I jumped out of the car and picked them up to give them a good, loving home. lolz
Not much change found it's way to me this week.....oh, well.  Some weeks are like that.

*  I got the Weis Friday Freebie item last Friday............

A block of cream cheese which is much appreciated in this house.  ;-)
Remember to check your grocery account at whichever store you frequent to see if there is a freebie you can use this week!

*  The clearance pumpkin flavored cereals at Weis(PMITA)Markets that were marked down to $1.88 per box are now $1 per box at my store, which means after stacked WeisQ/ManuQs they are FREE!
No photo but I picked up 6 boxes for free this past week.  Woohoo!

*  I got these items for .29¢ each at Weis recently as well..........

Unilever is revamping their Suave brands website and they sent me a link to a page of Suave Qs to print.  One Q was for .75¢ off their body wash and Weis had it on sale for $1.79 per bottle.  My Qs doubled to $1.50 so I got each of these for .29¢ each.  Not free but almost.  ;-)

*  Here's just some of the stuff I pillaged from Rite-Aid this week.........

I'll post about all the goodies I've gotten so far this week in a later post.
Today and Saturday R-A is doing another 30% off Friends and Family Sale around here.  Not sure if this one is nationwide or not but I got a coupon for it on my first trip there this week.

*  Hubs and I finally got up to the Christmas Tree Shops in the city North of us this week.
I saw this on the shelf...........

$9.99 for a 5 oz. bottle of real Vanilla extract.  I didn't buy it.
Tell me....is this a good price nowadays for vanilla?  I have no clue.

*  I hit Dollar General last Saturday to get some discounted gift cards.

The deal was 15% off if you bought Cracker Barrel/DQ/Burger King/Red Lobster and maybe Ruby Tuesdays?
I bought $100 worth total so paid $85 for all.  Daughter's birthday is coming up this month and she wants to go to Red Lobster so that was a no-brainer.

*  Speaking of discounted gift cards, I also sent for $300 worth of Target gift cards and paid $270 for those.  I don't shop Target much and I usually use free gift cards there acquired using credit card points but I couldn't pass up this deal.

* Not sure if you can still do this......if you have a Kmart near you(that is not closing)and you are a Shop Your Way Rewards customer, there is/was a $5 off $5 purchase coupon available via text message(the Q expires today-12/7/2018).  Go read about it HERE.
I loaded it to my phone and will go down to Kmart today if possible.

That's about it for me this week.
