Changing it Up Today

I'll get to Frugal Friday tomorrow(maybe).  I thought I'd changed things up by posting this Youtube video about the 10 Most Boring States to Visit instead.....

I've visited all but 2 of these states(no Kansas or Oklahoma, yet)and I tend to agree with most of what he says......except for when I saw friends in some of these states, that's what made them interesting.

Out of the states you've visited, which ones would you put on the Most Boring List and why?

  1. Wyoming was the worst state ever. Seemed like it would never end and a cop gave me a huge speeding ticket for going 90 when I hadn’t seen another car in hours.

  2. Once again hots off to the Thank God State of Mississippi. They keep us from being the worst so many times!

    1. The best thing about Alabama is the gulf coast beaches. They are really beautiful. We have not ventured out of the county that we live in except to maybe go to Mobile and we haven't been there in a long time. Lower Alabama is on fire right now as far as an influx of transplants coming here in droves. Real estate is off the hook.

  3. About 1973 we drove from Missouri to Eagle Pass, Texas, taking several days. On the way back, we drove from Eagle Pass to Memphis,869 miles...in one day or whenever we started home.
I am quite sure the state is more than I experienced. All I remember is it was flat, hot, and interminable. We drove all night, too. I thought I would die from exhaustion, so boredom came easily. However, I am quite sure it could have been better if we traveled home more leisurely.

  4. I've been to all except Alabama and Mississippi. I was born in Kansas and lived there till I was 21 and was happy to leave.

  5. Interesting!
I still want to do a cross country train trip. I haven't visited any of those states in the Midwest, just flown over them to more interesting places. One of my favorite state parks is in WV; we love camping at Pipestem. And the beaches in Alabama are great.
Who wants to go on a road trip?

  6. I wouldn't go on a road trip for love or money. Everything is boring to me when I'm stuck in a car.
