A quickie update today.
I had my procedure yesterday and everything went well. Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers. That and a Valium helped me get through it. More details later(if ya want 'em).
I can't change the bandaging yet(that's tonight)and I am sure I'll be sore/hurting when that happens.
I get to email a photo to the doc in a week.....anybody else want to be on that email list as well to see a picture of the area? 8-) (If you do, you are a sick perv. lol)
The worst part so far is having to wear a bra 24/7, not the pain. And the fact that my stripper career is over........
Ok, back to bed for me. Everybody have a swell day!

Oh, yes, the wearing a bra for so long or at all would be punishment that does not fit the crime. A valium? You were awake? I would have to have valium in order to wear a bra for 24 hours. Why don't you just post a picture on here? lol I am glad it is done and over with.

ReplyDeleteSo glad that you are okay! Your stripper comment made me lol! I had my hip replaced a few years ago and there is a huge scar right down my butt cheek where they had to cut. I remember feeling the bandage and telling the doctor that he ruined my future career as an ass model...thought he was gonna pee his pants!
ReplyDeleteGet lots of rest and wear that brassiere...that holds those things that are so dear. (my weirdo husband sings that to me all the time) On a side note, what about a sports bra? They keep the girls together and are not as tight as a regular bra.
Glad you survived and agree with the sports bra comment. I either wear a cheap thin one or one of those new “bralettte” things. Can’t really even tell it’s on-but that may be defeating the purpose.
