Thanks for the concern and advise about my camera.
It seems to have recovered from whatever was ailing it last night.
Yay!
Some good news for a change.
If the camera starts that crap again while I am on my trip I might throw it into the Mississippi and buy a new one.
Anybody out there have a cheapy digital camera that they think it a good deal?
Please share your thooughts.
In other news, today I am having a sewing day.
I dug out some items I had cut out in years past and am going to try to get something finished in the next day or two.
I guess finally finishing the living room curtains.....yes, I hemmed them yesterday......has me inspired to get some more sewing completed.
I'll be back in a couple of days with something made out of this fabric.
It's got two of my moistest favorite colors in it and it's a fun print.....
Here's a shot with the flash on......
Every foot or so there is one fish, swimming upside down. Every other fish's bubbles go up and this one's bubbles go down.
This is how I feel most days.
Swimming against the current and upside down like this little fellow.....ever the misfit.
The fabric is called "Fish Tales". They also made another one in this series with sea shells on it.
I guess it's discontinued now and the only place I can find it is on Etsy and they want $7 a yard.
Ouch!
Have you got a crafty or sewing project going at your house?

All I can say about sewing is that I know where my machine it. That is it.
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric.
I am thinking about sewing a doll blanket for my little granddaughter. I had a bead project in the making so I could have a yellow necklace for a new, on-sale black and white blouse. I could find no yellow necklaces, bracelets, or earrings in town. I finally went to the most expensive store in Cullman, barring boutiques. There I found the perfect necklace and bracelet, rather chunky and full of various beads. And, it was going to be less than my bead project! Now, I just need to dig around in my earrings and find some gold dangly ones. Now, I can crochet.
ReplyDeleteIf you turn the fabric when you cut, will the fish be right side up? I love those colors. Okay, I got purple, but what is the other color? Green?
I am so glad the camera healed itself. My digital cameras are funny that way.
Those are such pretty fabrics! So happy your camera healed itself. lol!
ReplyDeletethat fabric would make a great spo shirt!
ReplyDeleteI am knitting a winter scarf and a winter sweater. yes, I know it's summer and 90+ degrees outside. but december will be here in 5 months, so...
Just crank up the a/c and get your yarn on! lol
DeleteWe need to have slip covers sewn for our sectional sofa. I just don't have time to do it and am sick of tucking in big pieces of fabric just to keep it covered. I too know where my sewing machine is but have no time to use it!
ReplyDeleteLOL are they dead?
ReplyDeleteLove the print and it is so much fun!
I love fabric porn! I cruise the fabric websites like some guys do www.trollingforbabes.com
ReplyDeleteEvery time I get a sewing itch, my sister steals the sewing machine for an emergency... then it sits in her house for months. Sigh.
