  1. I did absolutely nothing, no special food or event. Now, how boring is that?

  2. Hi Sluggy, My husband smoked my last Thanksgiving turkey- yum! Then Tues was our 30th anniversary. We went to the big city out to lunch. There was a piece of parchment paper in my $15. sammy. They comp-ted the whole meal!!! Best part of my anniversary- heehee. You know that did this tightwad heart good! : ) Angela

  3. My son was a Labor Day baby, so we celebrated his birthday with some birthday drinks (he just finished bar tending school) and some grilled goodies. Took a nap, had a "Lord of the Rings" fest (I think I slept thru a lot of that lol) It was 100 degrees out and humid and I just can't take it- must be getting old!

  5. I actually used a vacation day and had a 4 day weekend. WooHoo! We did some shopping. Got a deal on a carpet steamer. Had to return it because of a missing part and they had no more in store. Saw Mere, Sam, Theo and Wyatt. Saw a movie. And relaxed some.

  6. Hellooooooooooooooo sluggy! Labour Day...let's see...mostly I worked on getting things ready for school. Since my job begins after Labour Day every year I don't usually get to celebrate very much but we did meet up with a friend on a patio at our local pub. It was warm and sunny and I hadn't seen her all summer. I behaved myself and ate a salad but then topped it off with an icecream cone!

  7. I pulled weeds, I think. That was a long time ago. Maybe I should pull more soon or close the darn pool.

  8. Labor Day weekend I did nothing out of the ordinary. Boring. I worked outside a little, and worked on picking blackberries from the overgrown mess of vines in the back yard. They've gone into the freezer as I've picked and then when I'm ready for the mess I'll pull them all out and make jam and some syrup, and probably prepare filling for a cobbler or two. :-)

  9. Labor Day I scrubbed my house. We were out of town the two previous weekends, so it needed a good cleaning. That was about it.
