This week I want to hear about how you feel about Halloween.
Here's some questions to get you started....
What was your most favorite costume you wore as a kid and why?
As an adult, do you decorate for it or do you wish it would just go away?
Do you party or do you feel it's a holiday for the kids?
And do you give out candy at your house to trick-or-treaters and if so, what kind?
You can come directly to this blog post or find it through the link on
the right side bar to leave 1 comment per day. The current Giveaway
Post will be linked right at the top of the side bar.

I like it- don't love it. I do decorate for it- that's kinda fun. I used to like to see the neighborhood kids dressed up but now most of the kids we get are in cars not from our neighborhood. Kind of scroogy about buying the candy- is that awful? So since I no longer have a trick-or-treater, I have mixed feelings. Angela
ReplyDeleteLove Halloween! Can't help myself. We used to do a lot when the kids were at home. Decorated, carve pumpkins, made costumes and went trick or treating. Now, we buy some candy, but rarely have anyone come by so we have to eat it ourselves. LOL! We do have some lighted pumpkins Hubby puts out.
ReplyDeleteYou are on my blogroll.
ReplyDeleteWell, hubby and I were officially "old fogies" last Halloween lol Kid's are grown so we disconnected the doorbell so the dogs would't bark every time it rang and then we went in the basement and had a quiet dinner and watched a non scary movie! lol Loved Halloween when my kid's were small and probably will enjoy it again if I ever have any grandchildren
ReplyDeleteI follow by email (but I don't want to post my email here- is that OK?)
ReplyDeleteWho won my M&M stuffie? *sniffle*
ReplyDeleteI'm back and almost sober!
ReplyDeleteHalloween is my all time favorite! I go a bit nuts here.
LOL at SonyAnn almost sober.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid, I remember I was Mary Poppons one year complete with umbrella! We always put our own costumes together from stuff we had around the house.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.
ReplyDeleteYou are still on my blogroll.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for lots of the Halloween decorating, the bloody gory stuff...and some of it is, in my opinion, in very poor taste.
ReplyDeleteI live now where there are no trick-or-treaters so I never decorate at all, but I do buy a few bags of candy. So disappointing that no one shows up to carry it off...HAHAHA
I din't realize that they still made Pepsodent toothpaste. There was a commercial in the 50's that went: "You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with PEPSODENT"
