With the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the disastrous pull-out of US forces from Afghanistan recently this song from 1967 has been an ear worm in my head........

ReplyDeleteThat's a great song. Sept. 11 has not been forgotten. It's one of those dates about which we can ask, Where were you when you found out? and people will remember.

My father in laws funeral was the day before, we were worn out and had opted to all sleep in that morning. Imagine our shock when we woke to news of the first tower then turned on the tv to see the chaos of the second as it happened.
