  1. What happened to the Elvis magnet? Where is the follow button? I subscribe- same thing? My favorite subject in HS was history because I had such a cool teacher. He looked like Gabe Kotter and was the first adult that ever allowed/ enjoyed my smarting back to him. I got smacked by that at home...hmmm. We had to read 1200 page Mitchner books in 8th and 9th grade. The kids these days couldn't handle it! Went medical but whereever you are Mr Southerland, I love you! Angela

  2. I loved a lot of subjects in high school. I think English was my favorite. I write contacts now, so I guess I am using it.

  3. My favorite subject was History. I am a SAHM homeschooling my two boys. So everything I learned in school helps me with teaching the boys. I LOVE Rembrandt toothpaste. I don't buy it often because it is so expensive.

  4. I need that lotion. My skin is really dry today.

I loved to write when I was in school. I still love to write, but have apparently gotten too lazy to do it much except at work.

  5. My favorite class was senior year home economics. I am telling you that nun taught us how to cook everything from rice, to eggs, to chicken to dessert. And yes she even showed us how to use a crockpot. I loved her and that class

  10. Oh, I did not tell you about favorite subject in high school. English was my favorite subject in hs. I became and English teacher. Mr. Busby was my 8th grade teacher in another school where he taught all subjects for the class. Remember, this was in the 1950s. I had loved to read since forever. But, he made literature come alive. I got it--why things were worded a certain way and how words evoked memories that contributed to the reader's sense of the story. THEN, he transferred to my hs and I had him in the 10th grade. I was in heaven with him for a teacher. So, this can be a Tuesday entry?
