I Finished the Blossom Ibotta Bonus

 I had 89 offers out of 115 done going into yesterday on the Ibotta month long $35 Blossom Bonus.

I figured I'd buy 7 x $5 gift cards to Walmart which would use $35 of my monthly earnings so I did that leaving me 19 offers away from getting both the $5 Weekend Bonus and the $35 Blossom monthly Bonus(Each gift card you purchase in Ibotta earns you a rebate offer).  I also had a $10 free Fetch gift card and a free $5 Shop Kicks gift card to use, so $50 in gift cards to use.  I also tried to get items that double dipped on more than one platform to get some of the items for very cheap or free after all rebates.

Here's what I bought.....

* 1 x Lipton gallon tea

* 1 x Gatorade Protein drink

* 1 x Breakstone cottage doubles

* 1 x Core Keto Protein bar

* 1 x Kraft mac and cheese

* 1 x Ragu pasta sauce

* 1 x Campho Phenique first aid cream

* 1 x Degree men's deodorant

* 1 x Carbona color grabber

* 1 x Carbona Stain Devil

* 1 x Nice N' Clean flushable wipe 3 pack

* 1 x Thomas' Swirl Bread

* 1 x Wonder Hot dog Rolls

* 2 x Johnson's Skin nourishing products

* 1 x Dove men's ultimate deodorant

* 1 x Dove women's ultimate deodorant

* 1 x Mtn Dew Major Melon drink

* 1 x Mtn Dew Spark Zero drink

* 1 x Mtn Dew Zero drink

* 1 x Suave shampoo

* 1 x Suave body wash

* 1 x Suave hand santizer

Total came to $78.95.
I used $4.75 in coupons making the total $74.20 and sales tax was $3.51for a grand total of $77.71.

I used $50 in assorted gift cards leaving me to pay $27.71 OOP.

I earned back $75.50 on Ibotta for completing 23 regular rebates(2 any item offers and the Carbona items each double attached to 2 separate rebates), the $5 Weekend Bonus, and $35 Blossom Bonus, an extra $1 Breakstone Bonus and .03¢ cash back on each of the 7 Ibotta gift cards I bought/used.

I earned $2.35 worth of points on Fetch for this transaction.

I earned $18.58 worth of points on Shop Kick for this transaction.

I earned .56¢ worth of points on Swag Bucks for this transation.

These items were free or better than free after rebates....Degree men's deo, Dove men's and women's deos, the 3 Suave items mostly because they gave me points/cash back on two or more platforms.

So just on the Ibotta earnings I had a $47.79 moneymaker.   The $21.49 total earned on Fetch/Shop Kick/Swag Bucks will get counted as I cash out for gift cards on those platforms.

Everything bought will get used/eaten/drank or will be given to the food bank or sold at my next stockpile sale.

Not bad at all.  Even with using $35 of my earnings this month I am at $192.19 in rebates from Ibotta for April.

More Rite-Aid This Week

We went to the town South of here to hit a different Rite-Aid to do the Deals on my son's Plenti card.
The transaction was all kinds of screwed up BUT it was all screwed up in MY Favor so I'm good with that.  ;-)

Here's what I bought.........

2 x Dove poo on sale=$7.00
2 x Suave gold poo on sale=$4.98
1 x Vaseline lotion on sale=$5.99
1 x Axe body wash on sale=$3.99
1 x Axe poo on sale=$3.99
1 x Nexxus conditioner on sale BOGO50%=$10.99
1 x Nexxus poo on sale BOGO50%=$3.49
(They only had 1 Nexxus poo at the $6.99 price point unfortunately.)
SubTotal.......$40.43+ $2.07 tax=$42.50

The Nexxus and Vaseline/Dove/Axe/Suave Deals double dip for their own Deals and with the Bonus Starting Points Deals.

How it should have gone is that I gave the clerk my coupons totaling $15.00, making my new subtotal $27.50(w/tax)which I would have paid with Plenti points and I would earn $28.00 in new Plenti points, making this a .50¢ "moneymaker".

But.......when scanning my Plenti card I elected YES use my points on the screen that came up and then, after the clerk scanned all my items he hit the button to finish the transaction and deduct my points BEFORE I handed him my coupons.
ugh.

So then we had a "post coupon" situation, where the clerk gave me $15 in cash for my fistful of coupons worth $15 I didn't get to use on the actual transaction.

That's fine because I'll just tuck that $15 away and consider it "points" once I exhaust all my accumulated Plenti points on this card.
No harm, no foul.

After getting home I looked at my receipt and saw that $42.50 of Plenti points was NOT deducted for my transaction(which is what my subtotal came to before coupons)but only $36.50 was deducted??
Then I looked closer and saw that $6 in Load2Card coupons had come off the transaction that neither of us had noticed. lolz

So I paid $36.50 in Plenti points and received $15 in cash back for the coupons the clerk didn't apply to my purchases, meaning with getting $28 in new Plenti points on the transaction AND $6 in electronic Qs applied to my bill, my .50¢ moneymaker turned into a $6.50 moneymaker.  8-)

Even better, I received $4 in Saving Star Rebates with this transaction too. ($2 Vaseline, $1 Axe hair, $1 Axe body wash)
This means my .50¢ moneymaker that turned into a $6.50 moneymaker had now turned into a $10.50 moneymaker! 8-)))

These "Starting Points" products bought gave me a $10 Bonus in points and I have tracking $10.43 toward a second $30 purchase for a second $10 Bonus in Plenti points.  Meaning I need to spend just $19.57 in SP products to get $10 more in Plenti points.
And if I buy products that also double dip with other Spend $X Get $X Deals I'll not really spend $19.57 in the end to get $10 in new points.
I now need to figure out how to get that last $19.57 spent the cheapest way without actually spending $19.37. 8-)

Grand Total for this week at Rite-Aid........I am "up" $31.27 combined on both Plenti cards/points/cash so far.
Earlier transaction on my card was a $20.77 moneymaker.
This transaction was a $10.50 moneymaker.

Getting paid to buy stuff rocks!

Rite-Aid Shopping This Week

Sunday saw me running out to Rite-Aid to do some freebies......

I had these two ManuQs from the most recent P&G coupon insert--

And I printed off these assorted Qs at coupons dotcom--

I ended up using 4 of these IPQs but I had printed an extra just in case one of the qualifying items in the deal was out of stock and I had to substitute a different qualifying item.

Then I bought this stuff on Eldest son's card.........

4 x Arizona iced teas on sale 2/$1=$2.00
2 x Crest 3D toothpaste on sale=$6.00
1 x Oral B toothbrush on sale=$3.50
1 x Glide dental floss on sale=$3.35(Wellness disc. was better than sale price)
2 x cases of Big Win water on sale=$4.00 *not pictured*
Subtotal......$18.85

Coupons Used
1 x $1/1 Oral B toothbrush ManuQ=$1.00
1 x $3/3 assorted Crest brand items ManuQ=$3.00
Coupon Total.......$4.00

$18.85-$4.00=$14.85
I used $14 in Plenti points and put the .85¢ on my R-A gift card.
I earned $15 in new Plenti points on this transaction(2 x $3 Crest 3D, 2 x $3 Oral B/Glide items, 2 x $1 Arizona items, 1 x $1 wyb 2 Big Win h20).
Had I not bought the water this transaction would have been a $4.00 moneymaker in points.
But as it is, I got the water for free so still a good deal.

Then I used the other 4 IPQs on this order on my card..........

Basically the same transaction without the cases of H20 but this type of dental floss was $3.50 not $3.35.

Subtotal of $15.00 plus .02¢tax this time=$15.02
Coupons were .75¢/1 each so they took $3.00 off my total=$12.02
Plus a random .50¢ Load2Card came off as well so total went down to $11.52

I used $11.52 in Plenti points to pay for it all so Zero OOP.
I earned back $14.00 in new Plenti points so this was a moneymaker of $2.48.

$29 in points earned.
$25.52 in points used.
$0.00 out of pocket.
$52.02 in products brought home.

And I am finished Rite-Aiding this week.
