This Week on the Dining Table

The "It Ain't Emptying Very Fast" Edition.........

I did make some progress emptying out the chest freezer....heck I made enough room in there to put that $2.49 Stollen I got for half price at Aldi's after Xmas to keep until next Xmas.

But then.......a huge styrofoam container landed on my front porch.  Our belated Xmas present from my brother--an Omaha Steaks cooler of meats.
While we appreciate the gift, I now had to find room to put all this frozen goodness which meant there is no discernible difference in the amount of food in the freezer this week.  ;-)
So there isn't much progress eating down the freezer to report. 8-(

What is getting fixed and served at your house this week?

Was last week's plan successful, did you go off plan or did you not even plan what was going to be eaten last week?

Any great deals on food at your stores this week?

  1. I think you should invite a bunch of hungry bloggers over for a week...or two...we could do some serious damage to that freezer!

    1. Well come on over!!!
I've already started cleaning the house so it should be decent by the time y'all get here. lolz

  2. Oh the woes of a full freezer! Looks like a great menu ahead for the week, and the weeks there after.

  3. Plans come and go and freezers seem to stay full__all the blasted time! I like your menu for the week, sounds really good.

  4. I am trying but it is slow work here with just the two of us. At least you have a couple more eaters at your place. But I am not giving up.

  5. What a wonderful dilemma, Omaha Steaks arriving at your house! Your brother has good taste. Enjoy. Penny S.
