April Louisiana Road Trip....Day Three

I awoke on Day 3 of the trip way early.  Even before Hubs was up.
The room seemed cold......we had checked the Weather Channel the night before and it said it would get chiller today.

And they weren't lying!
So I hopped(ok, at my age I don't really hop, it's more like a creaking dragged myself)out of bed and peeked out the curtain.

And this is what I saw......

Let's take a closer look at that......

WTF?!?

It's mid April about 10 miles from the Alabama border in Tennessee and it's FREAKING SNOWING!!!

Are you kidding me?!?

(The dashboard clock says 9:59am but we passed into the Central Time Zone and didn't change the time so it was really 8:59am)

We nixed the "free breakfast" (which consisted of toast, bananas and OJ)and headed across the parking lot to here instead.....

We had a real sweet waitress Amanda.

We got to chatting, as I am want to do....hey, it's a trait I picked up from my mom!  She's the mom to 3 kids(and not even in her late 20's).  She and her finace are raising them as best they can, both working at Waffle House on opposite shifts.
She's been planning her wedding so we traded ideas and ways to do this on the cheap between bites of breakfast and refills of Hub's coffee mug, since they don't have much spare money each month after supporting their little family.

When we left I wrote her a little note and left her one of those mystery diner generous tips you hear about on Yahoo inside of it and hightailed it outta there.....

Hopefully this will help them in some small way have a great day.
I saw her face from the car as she opened it before we drove off.
It made me smile to think I helped make her shift a little better.
I use to be a waitress.
Those are some hardworking ladies I tell ya!

Well we didn't get far before we stopped again......exactly across the street to the liquor store. lolz

It was only about 10 am......who says it's too early to buy liquor?! ;-)

And Hubs got his picture took with his friend Jack......
I love that Jack is standing on a safe.
If you know anything about the man, you'll find this quite funny.

And after dropping another $100 on TN whiskey(yikes!)we went outside found another new friend.....

A mechanical giant Tennessee Walking Horse.
(Notice I am wearing a fleece coat!  At least it was no longer snowing, it was just sleeting....geez!)

After that we hit the road south to Tullahoma Tennessee....

and from there down some backwoods country roads to here.....

The George Dickel Whiskey Distillery
While Jack Daniels is the mass produced TN Whiskey maker, Dickel is the handcrafted in small batches TN Whiskey maker.

Their motto is...."If you know Jack, you don't know Dickel."

It's a very bucolic setting....still looks much as it did back in 1870 when George began making his fine whiskey.

This was Hubs main excursion on this trip...even though it was 30 something degrees and snowing out and I wasn't a very happy camper at this point.....so I went with it!

We arrived just as a distillery tour was beginning so we had an hour+ long wait for the next tour....which made me even less of a happy camper. 8-(
We waited for the next tour because the noon-ish tour was an "Extended Tour" meaning it wasn't free like the usual tours but it included a Whiskey Tasting.

So we paid our fee, got a fancy bracelet(Ooooo! jewelry!!).....

And we made ourselves comfortable in the back room....nice little waiting room, isn't it?

There were plaques and memorabilia all around the lodge....

A reproduction old car with their logo on it....

It was cold as hell outside and still flurrying here so we needed that fireplace!

They had a short film about George and the history of the distillery running on a loop in the waiting room.  I believe by the time the hour was up I had memorized all the highlights of the company and could recite them verbatim. lol

I got bored and wandering into the ladies room and boy oh boy, this bathroom is a doozy!

Here are some still shots with better lighting....

The sink in a whiskey barrel, complete with whiskey bottle hand soap.

The loo with overhead water supply and a cooper coil tubing.  The chain that you yank to flush has a miniature oak barrel pull.

After what seemed like forever, the tour finally started.

We began outside at this statue of old George himself....I could have sworn he was shivering too!

Then we took the footbridge over the Cascade Hollow Creek that runs from the spring that is the source of the water used in Dickel Whiskey to the distillery across the street....

We took that little side door with the white sign over in on the right into the distillery.
Sorry, no photos allowed inside the building.

When the tour was over we went into this little building called the "Tasting House".
No photos allowed in that either but I snuck this one.  8-)

Inside this building is the only place in this county in Tennessee where alcohol can be consumed publically. The George Dickel Distillery is located in a totally dry county in Tennessee so they got a special exemption in order to hold tasting tours.

The Dickel gift shop has a special little room in it too, where they have to sell their whiskey by the bottle, since package sales of liquor or also not allowed in this county.
Not surprising since the state of Tennessee passed a Prohibition law 10 years before the 18th Amendment was passed in 1920.
Likewise, Tennessee state laws prohibiting the manufacture of spirits remained in place until 1937, 4 years after the repeal of the 18th Amendment.

These Dickel folks are a little "weird" about this whole drinking whiskey thing.
While we were touring the distillery, the "Whiskey Elves"(yes, I am using the tour guides own words here), went into the locked Tasting House and set up our place settings and samples of whiskeys for us.
The tour guide had to unlock the door to the house for us and we were all told not to trade settings or offer our samples to anyone else to drink if we didn't want them.  If anyone didn't obey, they'd be escorted off the property.

I found it unusual too that the tour guide sat down with us and got to drink whiskey too!
Wow, that's the job I want....walk around and talk about whiskey distilling and drink whiskey.....and get paid to do that.
Sign me up! lolz

Of course Hubs and I both finished our samples and I smuggled  out the fancy expensive barware we used......

Tennessee liquor laws are about as archaic as Pennsylvania's in some ways. lol

After the tour and tasting I staggered back to the Dickel General Store(which is now the gift shop and waiting room).....

We stopped so I could get a picture of Hubs by the creek....

Then it was back into the gift shop so Hubs could get him some bottles of his favorite whiskey and I could get a photo of the old post office inside the store....

Though it no longer operates as such it was the only distillery with it's very own official US Post Office.

And then we were off to grab a quick bite to eat on the road and off to our next destination, Lynchburg, TN.

No we weren't there to now do the Jack Daniels tour(too crowded and long lines)but to check out some shops in downtown Lynchburg.
Lynchburg is but a speck on the map.
I believe the entire downtown is 2 blocks long.

We checked out the Moon Pie General Store......

The Moon Pie, subject of Southern lore, was invented in Chattanooga Tennessee but they also have a store down here in Lynchburg.
And guess what they sell in there?

Yep, Moon Pies in many sizes, by the box or single....in a special carton with an RC Cola even. lol

They also sell Moon Pie souvenirs.....

Here I am posing under the Moon Pie logo wearing a tie-dyed Moon Pie t-shirt we bought our daughter.  (She loves tie-dye.)
I also got a couple of shirts for myself.

An "Eat Mo' Pie" shirt....

And a Mardi Gras themed Moon Pie shirt complete with a mask and beads....in purple of course!.....

And of course I bought a box of this.....

It's a brand new flavor, salted caramel, that was just released the week before we got there.
Of course, my eBay radar went off, seeing as I could have probably bought a few cases of that flavor and put them on eBay for insane prices, but I held down the urge.
See?  I am getting better! lol

They also have lots of fun stuff and novelties to sell....

Some hot sauce especially for Sonya Ann.....

Some breath freshener for Jane.....

And a pill box for me.....

Next door they had this sign out front......

Moonshine Whiskey Fudge?

Why, YES please......
Hubs & I each picked out different types.  Now I can't remember what they were....not that it matters, right? lolz

I also bought this somewhere around here......
Sweet Tea Moonshine.

And we walked by this little café but didn't have time to stop in and eat some 'cue.....

We had to get back on the road so we made our dinner date.
When we stopped for gas, I got something to tied me over until then.....

Pretty soon after that, we were passing into Alabama......

And outside of Huntsville, home of the US Space & Rocket Center, we passed this rest area......I wonder when the launch date is?

And about dinner time we rolled into Cullman Alabama.
Which was a good thing because we were suppose to meet up with Linda for dinner.

Ok, that's not Linda but if you read her blog, you should recognize her babies, Thelma and Patsy Kline.
When we drove up Thelma was out in front of the house looking for us so I knew I was in the right place straight away.

After some greeting hugs and putting the girls to bed for the night, we whisked Linda away down the road to Johnny's Barbecue.

Even though this is the first time Linda & I have met, we had talked online for years....about 7 years going back to our days on The Compact group.

And we got to know each other even more intimately at the restaurant.
Ya see, we both had to go very badly, so we hopped over to the ladies room asap.
And here is what greeted us when we opened the door.....

2 seats no waiting.
Except there were no doors, just a divider wall(plus there was a urinal on the wall?!? lol)

I don't think either of us could have held it and gone out and waited for the other one to finish so we just sat down and did our business, laughing the whole time about it.

Hey, we are both women of a certain age.
Stuff like this doesn't phase us after what we've been through in life, ya know?  ;-)

And of course for your viewing pleasure I took a picture of the bathroom décor.....

So we got back to the table and finally ordered dinner  and commenced to gab.
The waitress brought this with our drinks......

A plate of white bread to go with our barbecue.
They also have this on the table....
a roll of paper towels instead of napkins.
Oh, you KNEW it was going to be good 'cue.....

We got to laughing and talking so much that I plum forgot to take a picture of the food! lolz

But you can see we ate it all from this photo that Hubs took of Linda and me.
Note that most of the white bread is still on the table.....

Linda also presented me with a whole bag of goodies....Alabama goodies no less.
I got some photos once we got into the hotel in Louisiana....

Snack foods made in Alabama...Golden Flake brand, BAMA Mayonnaise and some Jam homemade by Linda....
She didn't forget Hubs either as the bag had 3 bottles/cans of Alabama microbrews--Monkeynaut, Truck Stop Honey and Good People Pale Ale.  Hubs especially liked the Truck Stop Honey(of course he did....lol).

And half a dozen of her famous Beauregard sweet potatoes.

Linda said this one looked like a slug....lolz.....I though more of a walrus with the whisker.....

And the girls also contributed to the bag of goodies.....

.....with 8 fresh eggs.

This all was so unexpected and such a nice surprise.
Thanks Linda!

And thanks for having dinner with us and finally letting me meet you.

We left Cullman behind and drove further South into Alabama before stopping for the night in Tuscaloosa.

What a jam packed day.  I slept like a log that night.

Next up, Day Four and we finally make it to Louisiana.

It is Done

The car purchase, that is.

Though I will probably spend the next week curled up in a ball, whimpering softly after having to plunk down the cash, it had to be done.

Check it out.....

I got them down about $2,200K from what they initially wanted.  And I clawed my way there a $100 at a time.....ugh.

The car cost $17,766 before tax, tags and title.

This was my first time working a deal without "a penis" along.
Yah, I had a man with me at this place the first time we went into that dealer but I worked the other dealers via the internet and the phone and closed this deal on the phone.

The salesman sputtered at first that me, the WIFE, had called him back and wanted to dicker the price.
Hubs is so bad at this game and if I had left it to him we'd probably had paid MSRP or very close to it.

I did the research and found the same car(same everything)at another area dealer, plus found this color was a slow seller, and used both of those points to get both dealers to bid it down until one cried "Uncle".

Plus if something had come up at any point to turn me off of this car/model/deal, I had a Corolla waiting in the wings with a firm price offer I could live with.

Just call me Faye Dunaway in "Mommie Dearest"....

And if I didn't get a good deal please don't tell me and spoil this for me......lolz

So my next question is.....
Who wants a freeloading visit this Summer?

I gots wheels, will travel!!!

A Retirement Research Tool

Since we are 4 years pre-retirement, we are into the research "where we want to live in retirement" phase.

I was surfing around some blogs and found this Cost of Living Comparison Calculator.
I can't recall who's blog I found this through....if it was you, let me know so I can credit you for giving me this idea.

Anyway go HERE and put in where you live now and where you are considering living and it will give you an idea of where location B stands in terms of costs to location A.

Be prepared to be surprised by some of the comparisons....I sure was!

As with all online calculators take what it tells you with a grain of salt.
Also, they show the categories and specific items they use to make their comparisons which is a good thing.

So far, everywhere I am considering moving to in retirement is LESS expensive than where I live now.

That's a win in my book!! lol

So tell me how your location compares.

I Promise This is the Last Car Post--Ramblings On Spending Money

Well it's sort of a car post anyway.

Still no decision here on the new vehicle(or new to me vehicle depending on which one I go with).

I did contact my cc company this week and requested that they raise my credit limit $5K.
I am planning, no matter which car I buy, to put it on my credit card.

Ok, before you all have heart failure out there, remember that I pay my card off every month in FULL.
I never put more on it than I can pay off before each billing cycle ends.

Putting it on the card is more a convenience measure for me.

Plus do you realize how many freaking reward points I'll get for putting a $15K+ car on it?
All I can say is free Christmas gift cards for everyone! lolz

So in prep for the car purchase I raised the limit and I also already paid off the current balance, most of which was put on there from our vacation trip last month, Hub's commuting gas purchases and some clothes I got real cheap at K-Mart for #2 Son.
A $3400+ balance.
Thank goodness for a 3 paycheck month, which will go a long way to cover all that.

I've been kind of freaking out quietly all this week.

Not only do I have to drop a load of cash on a car, but we got word from various members of Hub's family that 2 of his siblings WILL be attending #2 Son's graduation after all.  This means not only do I have to find room to house & feed at least 1 of them but also my brother and his wife(who we knew for months were coming).  I don't like short notice on stuff like this.
Now it means more people in my house and it is NOT ready for this invasion of family.

For starters, I still have no living or dining room furniture.
I have a rug and a folding camping table and a coffee table my Hubs refuses to part with for some unknown reason.  He seems very attached to it and frankly, it is butt ugly.   But then again, so am I and he seems very attached to me too.  lolz

I just feel all this pressure now to buy furniture too and while not as expensive as a car, you all know that ain't cheap either.

So I've got a time crunch and I just can't seem to find exactly what I want at the price I want to pay that I can get delivered in time for the graduation.

Sure, it would be easy to just go in Raymour and Flannigan, pick out a matchy matchy set of something or other and hand over the credit card and have it in 3 days.

We did go in there last Sunday and they had a beautiful sofa for $900.  I just can't seem to pull the trigger on it because I don't think I should have to pay $900 for the sofa I want.
Of course as soon as I buy something, the thing will go on sale and I'll be banging my head against a wall.... ;-)
That's the way it always goes in my world.

I just don't like making snap decisions no matter how much it means forking over.
And having this kind of deadline just makes me want to dig in my heels and not make a decision even more.

I am sort of passive aggressive that way.

I guess the stress of my daughter's house purchase is also feeding into my anxiety.  The bank keeps pushing back the closing and the daughter is none too pleased and we are all on tenterhooks.
While this gives her time to save up a little more cash before closing it also means they will have to move into the house almost immediately, before some necessary work can get done.  Ugh.  Stupid bank......

I just need to suck it up, take a Xanax or five(and a nap!)and get through the next couple of weeks.

April Louisiana Road Trip.....Day Two (Very Long with Many Photos)

We were up bright and early at our hotel in Bull's Gap TN.
I so enjoy saying that name....lolz

By the time Hubs got into the shower the hot water was nonexistent, poor thing.
This is why I always try to take my shower the night before when traveling....

The hotel free breakfast was pretty good.  No "meat/protein" other than Sausage gravy for putting over biscuits which I don't care for but they had oatmeal and actual hot water to pour over it so I was good to go.

Hubs mentioned at check-out about the lack of hot water in the shower and the front desk person gave him a 20% discount for the next time we stay here.
Not really on our regular route so not such a great thing. lol

Since we aren't booked ahead for lodgings except for while we are in Louisiana, we aren't on a hard time deadline.  We can go and do what we feel like each day, as long as we are making progress toward our destination in LA.
While I detest not having hotels booked and secured(control freak much?), I do enjoy the travel and sightseeing freedom that comes with "freestyling".

We decided to check out a sight nearby before we blew this part of Tennessee.

We drove into Greenville Tennessee.  This was the adopted home of President Andrew Johnson.
He was born in a log cabin in Raleigh North Carolina but his father died when he was 3 so his mother worked as a laundress to support the family.  They were my kind of folks.....early American "white trash".   His mother apprenticed him and his older brother William to a local tailor but they ran away after some time.
Eventually Andrew made his way to Greenville Tennessee and was married here at age 18 and the rest is history.

Greenville is proud of their famous son, with many MANY businesses named for him.
You can cash a check at the Andrew Johnson Bank, buy liquor at the Andrew Johnson Spirits store, and then hole up in the Andrew Johnson Inn and sleep off your drunk.

Ok, so that's not such an illustrious example of all sites AJ in Greenville.....

Hey look!
Another "Rent-to-Own" Shed business!!

After driving through town we got to where we were headed for our 1st stop of the day....wanna guess what we were going to see?

The birthplace of Davy Crockett.  You remember the song, don't you?

Seems to me David Crockett was the last honest politician who was known more for other accomplishments than for being a bureaucrat.

Sluggy calling the family in for dinner at a replica of Davy's boyhood home.  You can tell Hubs took this shot as he cut off part of the cabin. lol

The cabin interior was barred off and dark but with the camera flash, all was revealed......

The "dining area" of the one room cabin.  There was a sleeping loft you couldn't view.

The backside of the cabin with a garden area to the right.

We didn't have time to go over to the nice new museum across the way(and it might not have even been open we were up and out so early, but we did some reading on these informational boards and shot some photos while an ornery bee attempted to sting us.

Davy was a very interesting fellow with a large sense of justice.

This led him to eventually oppose Andrew Jackson and his policy of Creek Indian annihilate.  He stood alone in Congress against the President and as a result lost his seat in the next election.  I feel that was the last time of man with morals was ever in Washington D.C.

Davy ended up taking part in the Texas Revolution.
That whole Alamo thing didn't end very well for him......

An old concrete monument between the cabin and the nearby creek.

Another monument  between the cabin and the museum, constructed in the 20th century.

This site is VERY out of the way and the signage pointing your way is easily missed.
As a result it is very quiet with no crowds(we were the only ones there on our visit).
There is a shelter with picnic tables down by the creek(a branch of the Nolichucky River) and it was very peaceful down there.  Had it been later in the day we would have brought a picnic lunch to eat at this spot.

On the way out of town, we stopped at a local liquor store to check it out.
While Hubs bought a few more bottles of TN whiskey, I posed for a photo with my new BFF Popcorn Sutton......

"White whiskey" my ass.....that there's moonshine!

We bid Davy, Andy and Popcorn adieu(for now)and found our way back onto the Interstate.
We knew we were getting close.....

Another 45 minutes and we were on the road leading into Gatlinburg TN.

The annoying ginormous billboards were one clue we were getting close.  That sign was advertising the Hattfield & McCoy Dinner Show.
WTF?!? lolz

Chocolate Monkeys?? Hmmmm.....

The road into Gatlinburg has changed ALOT since we camped in the Smokey Mountains National Park as a family back in 1997......

Not a very good place to park a boat, I must say!

I didn't know they had gorillas in Tennessee?
I forgot to take a shot of this monkey when we headed back out of town to the interstate.  It's positioned so that you can take a real nice big close-up shot of King Kong's ASS.....LOLZ

These were but 2 examples of big overblow schlocky "entertainment venues" on the road between Sevierville and Gatlinburg.  If you get off the main drag there is Dollywood too.

None of this was here back in the 1990's when we stayed here.

I find this all very sad that Americans can't go to a place of natural beauty without turning it into this.
Are we so easily bored by being out in nature that we need bigger and bigger rides, movies, shows to entertain us when we aren't glued to our smartphones?!?
*Sigh*

Enough of that mess.....

Not soon enough we were in the park and looking at beautiful scenery for a change......

We were headed to our next stop in Gatlinburg TN.
After paying a highway robbery price of  $8 to park we headed into the rain to go here......

No, we weren't here for the scenery......

Though I did like this vintage repro poster......

Tampons for men?
Yes, please.....

No, we were here to take this picture......

.....taste Tennessee sippin' whiskey and haul off 2 BOXES of booze!

Since last August we have been jonsing to get back to TN for some whiskey.  And you can only find this Davy Crockett brand in Eastern Tennessee.
Yes, Davy, we meet again......

We only relieved the Barrelhouse of 9 bottles of whiskey and a few trinkets as well.
Only 1 bottle didn't make it back as my daughter claimed it.

Of all the alcohol we tasted these 3 were my favorites.....the Salted Caramel Whiskey, the Wildfire Cinnamon Cream Liquer and the Sassafras Moonshine.

I know a cinnamon cream whiskey sounds a bit odd and unappetizing, but trust me, it is AWESOME!
I went there thinking I'd like the PECAN flavored Whiskey but it tasted like pecan shells to me. lol

So after lugging heavy boxes to the car, we set off in the rain across the street for a late lunch at Shoney's.
They had a real nice buffet deal for $10 with some non-fried schlock so we loaded our bellies up.....trying to absorb all that alcohol we had just ingested before getting back on the highway.

On the way back down the highway from hell to the interstate we made a stop......

At a Russell Stover Store.
I had never seen one of these before.
So I go in, and it's the week before Easter, so the place is LOUSY with Easter themed chocolates.....Bunnies, chicks, crosses, that sort of thing.

And the prices?
As high as any you see in Macy's, the drugstores and even the Evil Empire.
But a vast variety of items they don't carry in those stores.

You know I am NOT about to pay regular retail for anything, even tempting chocolate if I can help it.
So I spy at the back of this HUGE building a section without all the fancy trappings and special lighting and decorations.
I walk back and it's a part of the store reserved for the reject candies.
You know, the overruns that didn't sell, the stuff going out of date(out of date chocolate? NEVER!lol), chocies in specific holiday containers from holidays past that didn't sell, etc.

And the prices?
Let's just say they were much lower than the crap being sold in the front of the store! lolz

So I picked up some of this, some of that.....

Some was BOGO, some was $6.99 a box.

I passed on the Valentine's Day hearts and Christmas overruns but I got this ginormous 3 lb. box of BLOOPERS.....

It wasn't even $12.99 as marked but only $9.99.
When is the last time you got 3 lbs. of Russell Stover chocolates for $10?

Ok, so they weren't anything to look at as they just smushed them all together in a box without those fancy wrapper cups but hey, for $10, I'll close my eyes and eat the not-purty rejects thankyouverymuch.

A few of the "presentable" boxes I gave away as presents on this trip but much of it came home with me.
Bad Sluggy, Bad!

After dropping $50+ on chocolate *Yikes!* (ok, so this was NOTHING compared to the amount of money Hubs dropped on liquor this trip)we got back on the interstate.

We took a pit stop at a rest area and lookie who I saw!

Dolly was hanging out trying to drum up business for her amusement park....

You just never know who you are going to meet when you are traveling, do you?

Thankfully no one besides us was in the rest area then so I could get all friendly with Dolly and not feel self-conscious.

Comparing "assets".
You win Dolly!!!

After using the facilities, we drove until it got dark and we needed to stop for the night.
We found a Choice hotel right off the interstate on the highway we needed to go down the following day toward our next destination.  The front desk clerk was real nice and found us a discount too so we paid less than $50 for the night.

After we got settled in, we went across the road for a small something to eat, and when I say small, I really mean it!
We went here for dinner.

 Krystal.
The South's answer to White Castle.

The food behind me may look huge but trust me, it's done with mirrors or something because this is what it looks like when you get it.....

This is $14 worth of burgers, hot dogs, fries and drinks for 2.  One grown man could eat all this and have room for more. lolz
But that's fine because we had a large healthier lunch and didn't want anything much.

We got the Krystal Sampler.....it came with a Krystal cheeseburger, a chicken sandwich, a corn pup(not big enough to be a dog lol), a chili pup, a small fries and a drink.

I have to laugh because Hubs saved his chili pup for last.  You see, it came in a normal sized Styrofoam box(see it behind my burger and chicken containers?)so he was thinking he'd eat all the miniature food first and then eat the chili dog.
You should have seen the look of disappointment on his face when he opened that box!! lolz
The chili dog was about 4 inches long. and most of that was bun.

They really need to put a disclaimer on their floor to ceiling photo I posed with above, that "food is not as large as it appears".  ;-)

After finishing our miniature food we headed across the street to Baskin Robbins for some dessert.
What the heck.....it had rained all day since leaving Greenville TN, it was getting cold and we were on vacation.
We needed a treat.

Ice Cream that meets the Spidey seal of approval.

Hubs looks like a pouty little kid in this one.....his cone is twice the size of his scoop!

Some 20 something disheveled, squirrely acting guys came in and all I could think was they were going to pull weapons out of their shirts and rob and kill us and the girls working the counter.
When they didn't and the girls working the counter started working the guys(hehehe) my anxiety passed and I decided that now was a good time to try taking a selfie.....

The "Hey! you wanna piece of me?" look....

The "trying to get the camera button pushed & keep it pointed at me at the same time, so I can't worry about my expression" look....

The crazy eyed Sluggy.....

Going for the come hither look and failing.......

And I have no CLUE what this expression was all about. lolz

By the time we finished my teeth were chattering and we headed back to the motel room.
Hubs dug out his new bottle of Davy(premium none of that flavored stuff)to warm up and we called it a night.

The following day was to be jam packed with adventures as well.

Stay tuned for Day Three.....

Sluggy
