Nuts to You!....Part I.....Free Food after Rebate

I completed the Keep the Jingle in Your Holidays $10 Nabisco/Planters/etc. Rebate for BIL last week, so I was looking at a way to do it frugally for me now.  I have until the end of January to purchase the 10 products to send for this Rebate.

And then I saw while in Rite-Aid on Tuesday(and after reading on the COUPONS DEALS AND MORE Blog, that some of the Planters nuts were BOGO and the "NUTrition" cans were on sale for $3.49 each.  The best part was the BOGO nuts included Cashews.....drool.....
I love cashews and use them often in cooking so this peaked my interest!
Hmmmmm......

I think I can use these nuts on sale this week to do this $10 Rebate AND I'll spend OOP LESS than $10 to do it!

Rite-Aid this Week.......The Cough Syrup Made Me Do It!

So #1 son has been having allergy/sinus problems while home for college break.  He's on my last bottle of cough syrup in the house.
I went to Rite-Aid to get this.....

We love us some Delsym in this house!

At any rate, this stuff is NOT cheap.  The smaller bottle runs $10.49.  The house brand/generic of it runs $6.99.  But by using different types of coupons at Rite-Aid, and buying other stuff too I can use the overage from the coupons to get the Delsym brand for LESS than the generic brand's price.

I know the 2 Wellness Skin Care on the Lip Care items was pushing it, but the cashier and manager had no problem taking them.  Lips are skin, right?lol  I figured that if they wouldn't take those I could try the $2/1 Beauty Product Wellness Qs on the Nivea Lip care that is more of a Lip Gloss with color, hence a 'beauty' product.  Either way, I was going to try to get that $4 off those purchases.  This may be a YMMV situation though, depending on your store and manager.

I must say that once this Wellness Program comes to your area, DO SIGN UP!  Not only do they send you emails with links to PDF Wellness coupons to print, but you also will get Wellness coupons printed on the bottom of your CRT in the store.
Add in the AdPerks coupons you can sign up for, the $x off an $x Purchase coupons Rite-Aid releases now and again, store sales, Single Check Rebate items, and of course, Manufacturer's Qs, and you have just SO MANY opportunities to save money in that store!
And speaking of SCRs.....
