There are a few Frugal wins over the past week.
* Had two PT sessions this week. Again, no co-pays. Man, this gal works me hard too but I think I am getting stronger in my shoulders. 8-) I've got 2 more sessions with her next week and then I continue doing these at home by myself(well the ones that don't require a big machine!). I start another round of PT for a muscle in my back the following week. If it ain't one thing it's another, right? The therapist and I had a talk about what the Pain Management folks wanted her to try but A-it's sort of dangerous to do this as the muscle is over my kidney and B-Medicare no longer reimburses them for this procedure/therapy so I'd be paying out of pocket. We'll be trying deep tissue massage and exercises instead which Medicare does pay for and then will see how that works out. ;-)

There are a few Frugal wins this past week so here goes....
* We had a visitor, again!
* As for saving money last week at the grocery stores, here are the best deals--
CVS gave me more free money so we wandered in and came out with this lot.........
I also earned .70¢ back on Ibotta for the cereal so actually .65¢ OOP and that was all LA tax.
Then it was onward to Kroger.......
The sugary cereal was for a donation item and after sale and rebate cost .17¢ per box, the pizza was dinner that night and cost $2.99 after sale and rebate, the fruit splash Ginger Ale was part of a Buy 2 x 12 packs/Get 3 x 12 packs free(making that one .99¢ after the $3 rebate), the Reese's cups were .25¢ each after sale and rebate, the Siete potato chips were .99¢ after sale and rebate, the Granola bars were $1.49 each after sale and rebate and the Cascadian Farms granola were $1.99 per bag after sale and rebate(cheaper than I could make them or buy the private label stuff).* I used a Zaxby's gift card when I was out shopping to get a chicken sandwich and redeem my Free Chicken fingers offer. Had those on various days for lunches during the week. Then on Tuesday after my back injections we picked up Zaxby's for "linner"....I got an Asian Zalad and Hubs got a sandwich meal. That gift card is depleted now.
* Zaxby's had a gift card deal the 3 days around Valentine's Day so I bought a $30 gift card and got $5 off that. I also bought a $150 Lowe's gift card at Dollar General last Friday and got 10% off that. We can always use a home improvement store gift card living here.
* Had an eye dr. appointment on Thursday. Found out a membrane is growing under my new lense after my cataract surgery. This needs zapping with a laser which was scheduled for 2 weeks from now and Medicare covers it. yay. More doctor stuff....
Welcome to Frugal Friday!
There are a few Frugal wins this past week......
* We went to trivia on Monday and we won 2nd place!
* I don't "do" Ibotta all the time now(I just don't go to the store enough to do all the weekly, weekend and big bonuses). But I do a few now and again. On Wednesday my big wins at Kroger were these.....
There was an 80¢ off digital Kroger Q on the Ragu making it $1.39 OOP, the Chili was $1.29 after Kroger Q x5 plus a .50¢ Ibotta rebate making it .79¢ per can(got 5 of those for Hubs), the Kraft salad dressing was $1.29 w/Kroger Q and the Heinz ketchup was $1.79 after a $2.50 Ibotta rebate(limt 2).
I also picked up .99¢ lb. aparagus, $1.19 lb. zucchini and a 1/2 price corned beef which I am cooking tonight.
* I've cobbled together a pantry in the laundry/utility room using metal wire rack shelving. The only problem is cans and bottles fall over if not placed just right on the shelves. Instead of spending $$ for plastic liners they sell for these I cut out cardboard from some of these boxes we used in the move and made liners out of that.
I found money!
Hubs went to Walmart on Monday and found this penny.
I found this nickel at Kroger on the side of the self-checkout machine. I also spied a penny at a different machine but someone was using it so I couldn't pick that coin up. 8-(Total Found in last Week.... .06¢
Total Found this Year....... .66¢
That's all for this past week.
