Rite-Aid Booty This Week & A Heads Up

My first trip to Rite-Aid for the week......

2 x Playtex tampons 32ct. 20% wellness disc. $7.59ea.=$15.18
1 x Vaseline lotion large one on sale=$5.99
SubTotal.....$21.17

Coupons Used
1 x $3/1 Playtex tampons L2CQ=$3.00
1 x $3/1 Playtex tampons MQ(coupons dotcom)=$3.00
2 x $3/1 Playtex tampons In-Ad Q=$6.00
1 x $2/1 Vaseline lotion L2CQ=$2.00
1 x $2/1 Vaseline lotion Video ValuesQ=$2.00*
Coupon Total......$16.00

$21.17-$16.00=$5.17 + .12¢ tax=$5.29

I used a $5 +Ups and paid .29¢ OOP.

I received back $4 in +Up Rewards($1 Vaseline, $3 Playtex wyb2).

* My $2/1 Vaseline Video Values Q printed with an expiration date of 10/4 on the banner at the top of the Q.  Many people had this problem if they printed out their VVQ early.  But the Q says expiration date 10/11/2014 at the bottom, just under the Q.  I pointed that out to the cashier when he saw the 10/4 expiration at the top.
He tried to scan it in anyway and it worked.  If your Q printed the 10/4 expiration date at the top, just point out that it's wrong(refer to the correct expiration date at the bottom)and ask them to try it anyway.  It should go through without a problem.

HEADS UP--If you want to do the $3 +Ups Playtex tampons, or $3 +Ups Edge/Skintimate shaving gel and/or the $3 +Ups Schick razors Deals this week please be aware that these are all part of the same +Ups generating Deal!
And the Wet Ones Deal if you did that one last week is also part of the same Reward.

There is a limit of 2 of these deals total per Wellness account so if you do more than 2 of any of these Deals you won't get the +Up after you receive it twice.

Saturday & Sunday Shopping Deal Updates

On Saturday I went shopping.
First to WeisPMITAMarkets to get this.....

They had some varieties of Cheerios on sale $1.77 a box.  Of course they were out of the multigrain variety I like so I got the honey nut ones.

I paid .77¢ after using a .50/1 IPQ that doubled to $1 off(coupons dotcom).
I will also get back .50¢ into my Saving Star account soon which makes this box of cereal .27¢.
We don't eat cold cereal around here much so this will last me quite awhile.  I can mix it with my multigrain Cheerios.
This is the only item I bought at Weis this week.

Then it was back to Rite-Aid to get some last minute items.

I can't show you one of the things I got since I know that person reads this blog and it's for them for Christmas. ;-)
But I earned $3 +Up Reward for buying it.

I also cashed in a rain check I had forgotten about.  Back when Motrin PM was first introduced Rite-Aid had it on sale for $1 a box.....I think it was $1 after an +Up Reward.  Anyway I still had 2 boxes to buy on this rain check.
Motrin was bogo50% and gave a $2 +Up Reward last week wyb 2.
And even though I was getting it for $1 a box it still gave me the $2 +Up Reward.
I also have a $3/2 Motrin items coupon from last Sunday's inserts to "try" to use.
I didn't think it would take it since I was only spending $2 on Motrin.
But it did!  So I walked out of Rite-Aid with 2 boxes of Motrin for -$1 AND a $2 +Ups.

I guess since I bought something else in the transaction, that Motrin coupon came off because there was other spending to "absorb" it. (I also brought a $1/1 Motrin coupon just in case the $3 one didn't work.)
Whatever.
So my "item I can't show you" only cost me $8.98 if I count that $1 from the Motrin Q toward that spending.  I also used $4 in +Ups on the "item I can't show you" so in the end I paid $4.98 for it.
I'm taking that $4.98 OOP from the Christmas monies and not counting it toward my food/toiletries spending.'

Then this morning I had the last of my $25 +Up rx transfer to spend/roll.

It took me awhile to figure out how to spend that much in one transaction since 2 of the items I was going to buy were NOT included in a couple of deals this week, and it made my brain hurt.
But figure it out I did.  This is the best rolling I could manage this week......

2 x Brookside chocolate on sale=$7.00
2 x Dove men's 'Poo rain check=$5.00 *
2 x Listerine naturals on sale $3.99=$7.98 **
2 x Ghirardelli chocolate bags on sale $3=$6.00 ***
2 x GE halogen light bulbs on sale BOGO50%=$11.23
1 x Colgate Enamel toothpaste on sale=$2.99
1 x Bayer baby aspirin on sale=$2.99
SubTotal.....$43.19

Coupons Used
2 x $1/1 Brookside ManuQ(Sunday's inserts)=$2.00
1 x $1/2 Brookside VideoValueQ=$1.00
2 x $1/1 Listerine ManuQ from Dentist Office=$2.00
2 x $1/1 Chirardelli bar or bag IPQ(HERE)=$2.00
2 x $1/1 GE lightbulbs ManQ(Sunday's inserts)=$2.00 ****
2 x $2/1 GE lightbulbs VideoValuesQ=$4.00
1 x $2/1 Colgate enamel toothpaste ManuQ(Sunday's inserts)=$2.00
1 x $1/1 Bayer item IPQ(coupons dotcom)=$1.00 *****
Coupon Total.....$16.00

$43.19-$16.00=$27.19 + .06¢ tax=$27.25
I paid with $27 in +Ups($25 rx transfer and another $2 +Ups) and spent .25¢ OOP.

I received back $14 in +Up Rewards($2 Dove wyb2, 2 x $3 Listerine, $5 wyb 2GE bulbs, $1 Bayer).
I spet .25¢ out of pocket, brought home $64.18 worth of goods and have $14 in new +Up Rewards to spend later.

After +Ups/Qs, the Brookside chocies cost me $2 a bag, the Dove 'Poo cost me $1.50 a bottle, the Listerine cost me -.01¢ a bottle, the Ghirardelli $2 a bag, the GE light bulbs .23¢ for both boxes, and the Colgate toothpaste and Bayer aspirin cost me .99¢ each.  Of course, this "cost" was taken care of by using +Up Rewards so the real cost was only .25¢ out of pocket.  8-)))

* Even though I had no Qs to use on the Dove men's 'Poo, it was a good deal.  The rain check made it $5 for 2 instead of this week's 2/$7 Deal AND it still printed the $2 +Ups wyb2, so after +Ups I paid $3 for 2.  And if Dove releases IPQs for this item this week, I can print them and take them into Rite-Aid with my receipt showing a purchased this item and get money back for those Qs, which will make my spending even lower.  8-)

** If you buy 2 of the Listerine "Naturals" type of mouth wash the Catalina will most probably spit out a $1/1 Listerine Naturals like it did for me.

*** The Ghirardelli IPQs are good on the bags or the bars.  Buy the bars for $1 each after using the Q this week, or buy the bags for $2 each after using the Q this week.  I could have bought the bars instead of the bags and saved $2 in +Ups that I spent.  They didn't have any of the bar flavors that I like.

**** I used the ManuQ from Sunday's inserts but there is also a $1/1 package IPQ at coupons dotcom.  I also had 2 $1/1 GE bulbs loaded to my Wellness card(Load2Card Qs)but neither of them came off though I bought the correct item.  I had the cashier check if they came off before I handed over the ManuQs for this item.  See what I mean about the L2CQs being weird!?!)

***** There is also a $1/1 Bayer product ManuQ in this Sunday's inserts you could use instead of the IPQ one I used.  There is a limit of 1 offer for this deal and there was no signage on the shelf in my store so be careful.  I had them price check it to make sure it was the correct item that gives a $1 +Ups this week.

I have $36 in +Up Rewards moving forward into next week and I've spent a total of $2.80 OOP at Rite-Aid this month.

I have $19 in +Ups expiring next week so I'll spend some time this week figuring out how to roll/spend those.

Is there anything at Rite-Aid you are going to be getting this week?
I see diapers on a good deal this week, but we don't need those anymore(thank goodness!lol).

More Rite-Aid This Week

I still had $5 in +Up Rewards attached to my son's Wellness card I had to use by Friday, so back to Rite-Aid I went today.....

2 x Reach toothbrushes 3 pack(raincheck=.50¢ea.)=$1.00
6 x Palmolive dish soap(on sale .99¢)=$5.94
2 x Garnier shampoo BOGO50%=$6.73
SubTotal.....$13.67

Coupons Used
2 x $1/3 Palmolive dish soap VideoValues IPQ=$2.00
1 x $2/2 Garnier Sleek & Shine products VideoValues IPQ=$2.00
1 x $2/1 Garnier product IPQ=$2.00
1 x $2/1 Garnier product Load2CardQ=$2.00
Coupon Total.....$8.00

$13.67-$8.00=$5.67 + .02¢tax=$5.69

I paid with those $5 in +Ups attached to the card=.69¢ OOP

I was surprised to receive a $2 +Up Reward back on my receipt!

Evidently there is a $2 +UPs when you purchase 5 Palmolive items this week.  There was no signage in the store.

If you look closely above the Up Rewards it says, "Buy 5 Select Palmolive  Get $2+UP".
So even is you just use one of the VideoValues coupons $1/3, and buy 5, after the $2 +Ups back, the 5 bottles will cost you $1.95, or .39¢ each + tax.

As for my transaction, I paid .69¢OOP, spent down $3 in +Ups and brought home items worth $32.10.
This card now also has $6.73 toward the "Spend $15/Get $5 +Ups Garnier/Maybelline" Deal.  This is a monthly Deal.

Now I'm off to figure out how to spend/roll what is expiring next week.

The Rite-Aid Post.....Late Last Week & on Sunday

I went back into Rite-Aid on Friday evening for this.....

2 x Tresemme Shampoo on sale=$8.00
1 x Vaseline Lotion on sale=$6.49
SubTotal......$14.49

Coupons Used
2 x $2/1 Tresemme ManuQ=$4.00
1 x $2/1 Vaseline Lotion Load2CardQ=$2.00
Coupon Total.....$6.00

$14.49-$6.00=$8.49

I used $8 in +Ups to pay and spent .49¢ OOP.
I received $5 in +Ups back($3 wyb2 Tresemme, $2 wyb Vaseline lotion).

I also transferred another prescription on Friday on BIL's card and got another $25 +Up Reward.

I may transfer a third rx this coming week since my son has a Wellness card too and I can get another $25 +Up Reward for that one.

***If you have a Rite-Aid remember that September is TRIPLE POINTS for all non-prescription purchases on your Wellness account.
Go HERE to sign up for Triple Points.
They will email you a bar code that you need to print out and take into the store to have them scan it BEFORE you make any purchases for the month.
Doing this will ensure that you get Triple Points on all qualifying purchases this month.
This will help even more customers get to 1000 points before the end of the year and have that 20% Wellness discount for the rest of 2014 and all of 2015.

I did the above before/when I went into Rite-Aid on Sunday morning.
I had to shop on Sunday because some of the coupons I was using were expiring that day.

Here is my shop from Sunday at Rite-Aid......

9 x Pantene Shampoo on sale 3/$10=$30.00
2 x Oxi dishwasher crystals on sale=$7.00
2 x Crest 3-D Luxe Toothpaste on sale=$6.98
2 x Gear Deodorant on sale=$7.00
2 x Neutrogena bar soap on sale BOGO50%=$5.24
SubTotal.......$56.22

Coupons Used
3 x $4/2 Pantene(1 MQ, 2 IPQ)=$12.00
1 x $3/2 Pantene ManQ=$3.00
1 x $1/1 Pantene IPQ(coupons dotcom)=$1.00
1 x $1.50/1 Oxi dishwasher cleaner ManQ=$1.50
1 x $1.50/1 Oxi dishwasher cleaner IPQ=$1.50
2 x $1.50/1 Crest 3D Video ValuesQ=$3.00
1 x $1/2 Crest toothpastes ManQ=$1.00
2 x $1.50/1 Gear deodorant ManQ=$3.00
Coupon Total.....$26.00

$56.22-$26.00=$30.22

I used $30 in +Ups to pay and spent .21¢ OOP.

I received back $23 in new +Up Rewards($10 wyb$30 P&G, $5 wyb2 Neutrogena, $2 wyb2 Oxt, 2 x $2 Crest, $2 wyb2 Gear).

The Neutrogena bar soap Deal doesn't need a coupon to get 2 bars for free or almost free.  My Rite-Aid is higher in price so after the +Ups they "cost" .12¢ each instead of being free.

In addition, 9 bottles of Pantene "cost" me $4 in +Ups, 2 bottles of Oxi "cost" me $1 each, 2 Gear deodorants "cost" me $1 each.
The only "free" items were the toothpaste, which after Qs/+Ups were a .51¢ moneymaker each.

This just means I spent down $7($8 spent - $1.02 moneymaker=$6.98) on my +Ups besides spending .21¢ of cash monies to get $86.03 worth of goodies.

I currently have $42 in +Up Rewards and after I pick up that third rx transfer I'll have $67.
I also have $3 in +Ups I need to spend/roll this week so I'll probably pick up a bottle of Tide with it and that will finish out what I need to spend for that $10 Tide Rebate I've been working on.

I also received this in the mail on Saturday......

That P&G $10 gas rebate/prepaid MasterCard for buying $30 in P& G items in July(my last purchase was made August 1st actually and the rebate was applied for that date).
Funny thing is after reading all the literature that came with it, you don't have to spend this just on gasoline.  It's good anywhere that takes MasterCard Debit(which is most anyway that takes credit cards).
Sweet.

1 bottle of Tide later this week and then the planning starts for what to get next week at Rite-Aid for almost free.

Happy New Rite-Aid Year!

So this deal actually got me out of my warm jammies and into clothing to go to Rite-Aid in.lol

2 x Centrum ProNutrients supplements on sale BOGO50%off(reg. $12.29)=$18.43
2 x Colgate Optic White Toothbrush on sale $3.49=$6.98
1 x Oral-B Xaction Power White Toothbrush on sale=$5.99
SubTotal....$31.40

Coupons Used
2 x $5/1 ProNutrients IPQ(on red plum website)=$10.00
2 x $4/1 ProNutrients AdPerks/VV Q=$8.00
2 x $3/1 Colgate Optic White Toothbrush AdPerks/VV Q=$6.00
1 x $1/2 Colgate Toothbrush ManuQ(1/1 insert)=$1.00
1 x $3/1 Oral-B Power White Toothbrush ManQ(1/1 insert)=$3.00
Coupon Total.....$28.00

$31.40-$28.00=$3.40
I used $3 in +Up Rewards expiring this week and put the .40¢ on my free Rite-Aid gift card.

I received $2 +Up Rewards back(wyb 2 ProNutrients).
I also qualified for $6.99 in Single Check Rebates--$2.99 for the Oral-B toothbrush and 2 x $2 for each ProNutrient supplements.

So I'm "down" $1 in +Ups but I'm getting $6.99 in cash back on this transaction......or I "spent" $1.40 in +Ups and gift card credit but Rite-Aid is paying me $6.99 in CASH for this stuff.  Either way you look at it, it works for me!lol

The Colgate toothbrushes and ProNutrients stuff qualify toward the BUY&SAVE $20+Up Resolution Reward.  Spend $100 in qualifying items and get a $20 +Up Reward back.  The amount is tracking on your receipt and this transaction got me to $25.  It actually should have been $25.41 so I'm thinking it's not recording increments less than $1?  Maybe it will roll over and record that .41¢ once I buy another .59¢ worth of qualifying product??

If you want to do this deal you'd better hurry because the ProNutrient SCR is only good on purchases made through 1/3/12, which is today!  It's still a good deal but you don't get $4 back unless you buy the supplements today.
