Rite-Aid & Other Shopping and Deals This Week

Lots of shopping this week at lots of different places(Rite-Aid, Weis, and two Grocery/Produce Outlets).

First off Rite-Aid--
This week one type of Rite-Aid brand cellophane tape is on sale BOGO and when you buy 2 you get $2 in Bonus Cash back.
So you end up getting 2 packs of tape, pay $1.49(plus sales tax if applicable to your state)and get back $2, which is a .51¢ moneymaker(before tax).
This is a monthly Deal for March, limit of 4 per card/account.

I maxed out this deal on my card and my son's card plus I bought Nature's Truth Vitamin E sticks which are BOGOFree this week as well on son's card but I'm putting it out there as one transaction.

16 x R-A tape BOGO sale=$11.92
2 x NT Vitamin E sticks BOGO=$1.99
SubTotal......$13.91+.71¢ tax=$14.62

I paid with $6.31 in BC(on my card)and $8.30 on a free R-A gift card(on son's card).
I earned back $16 in new Bonus Cash($8 on each card).
I also submitted for a $2 Ibotta rebate for the Vitamin E sticks.
So $14.62 "spent" and $18 earned back.

On Wednesday it was Wellness Wednesday so I went up and got a few items on son's card........

2 x Kleenex BOGOFree sale=$2.99
2 x Betadine spray 20% Wellness discount($8.79)=$17.58

2 x $2/1 Betadine IPQ=$4.00

$20.57-$20.00=.57¢+.06¢ ta=.63¢ OOP on a free R-A gift card.  I should have used the .63¢ of the $8 in BC on that card but I forgot I had it on there. oh well...

I also picked up the 3 freebies in front--a sample Aquaphor spray, CeraVe lotion and another Bayer pill caddy/key chain for daily baby aspirins.

I also hit P and R Outlets when I went across the river to hit another R-A.  It's a discount grocery/HBA/ outlet that also stocks gluten-free stuff and a lot of organic foods(mostly the fresh produce).  Here are the best deals I got there and nothing was out of date.........

1 x Momfuku Thai chili sauce for .29¢ a bottle

2 x Suzie's almond butter cookies for .59¢ a box
2.83 lb. zucchini for .69¢ lb.($1.95 total) pictured below
1 lb. bunch of asparagus for $1.49 pictured below
9.7 lbs. bananas for .10¢ a lb.(4 bananas) already gone lolz

I also hit Malacari's produce market and got all this(except the 2 items mentioned/bought from P and R)........

1 x 1.95 lb. cabbage=$.96(.49¢ lb.)
1 x pack of snow peas=$1.60
1 x 2.48 lbs sweet potatoes=$1.71(.69¢ lb.)

I also spent $7.76 on 1.11 lbs. chicken lunch meat.  They have the lowest price on Dietz and Watson lunch meat around here, charging $6.99 a lb.

The Butcher Wagon brand is made by Hatfield, a well known PA brand.

Malacari $27.99 OOP.

I also hit Weis(PMITA)Markets this week.........

3 x Oral-B toothbrushes on clearance $1=$3.
I had a $2/1 Q for paid $1 for all three, making them .33¢ each.
Good price for a toothbrush.

4 x large packs of Luvs baby wipes on clearance $3.14 each=$12.56
I used 2 x .50¢/2 Luvs Qs that doubled to $1 each so $2 off making these $10.56 OOP.

And I did the Clorox deal(spend $20 on select items/Get $7 off instantly)and it was working off of reg. shelf price.........

4 x Clorox wipes on sale 2/$5=$10.00
3 x Glad wrap on sale 2/$5=$7.50
SubTotal.....$17.50

Coupons Used
4 x .50¢/1 Clorox wipes IPQ (doubled to $1 each)=$4.00

As an aside, the bleach shelves were practically bare.  I should have taken a picture of them.
Plenty of wipes and spray cleaners though, just the bleach.

It was a high spend(not including R-A)week for me but I got lots of good deals.

Wellness Wednesday & Stuff

I almost forgot that yesterday was Wellness Wednesday for February!  Can you imagine that? ;-)

But I did get over to R-A and it seems like Wellness Wednesday is mostly gone.  True, if you are signed up for the 65+ Wellness program you get a 20% discount on what you buy(unless it's sale price is better than that)on WW.  But if you are a Gold Level Wellness member you get 20% off reg. price everyday so that's really not a deal to me.
But no more coupons for WW as far as I can tell. 8-(

Also Rite-Aid seems to have also discontinued it's Allergy Rewards Program(for every $75 spent on select Allergy Products you earn a $20 BC reward during a calendar year).  No one has gotten any credit toward this program for buying these items since Jan.1st it's been reported and there is no mention of it on the end part of receipts anymore.
Boo.

But I went up to Rite-Aid anyway to do a deal for this week.
Like Ms Goose on the Living Large For Much Less blog mentioned last week, if you got your R-A $20 Visa debit card from the last Spend $50/Get $20 Visa card from that previous promotion it's a good week to try to roll it to get another $20 Visa card this week.

While I didn't use my $20 Visa card I used some Rite-Aid gift cards earned in 2018 from a "Spend $50/Get a $10 R-A gift card Beauty" Deal instead.
I'd rather spend the gift cards only valid at R-A and keep the Visa debit card because I can spend it anywhere.  They are valid for 6 months so I can deal with that time frame to use them up.

So here is what I bought at first--
2 x R-A Vitamin D3 BOGOFree=$15.99
2 x R-A Vitamin C BOGOFree=$9.99
4 x Airwick double refills BOGOFree=$13.98
2 x Cover Girl eye palettes 20% disc.=$10.38
SubTotal......$50.34

Coupons Used
1 x $4 wyspend $20 R-A CatQ=$4.00
1 x $5 wyspend $25 R-A Vitamins R-AQ=$5.00
2 x $5.50/2 Airwick double refills IPQ=$11.00
2 x $3/1 Cover Girl eye items IPQ=$6.00
1 x $2/1 Cover Girl item receiptQ=$2.00
Coupon Total.......$28.00

$50.34-$28.00=$22.34 +.06¢ tax=$22.40
I should have earned my Reward Code for the $20 Visa card except.....

Cover Girl EYE items didn't qualify so I had to return them and rebuy two CG face items. ugh.
So the return of the CG eye items earned me back my $10 BC I had used plus $1.01 in cash(due to coupons and sales tax paid).

Not sure why the computer said give me cash since I used BC and gift cards but whatever. ;-)

So this is what I actually bought......

2 x R-A Vitamin D3 BOGOFree=$15.99
2 x R-A Vitamin C BOGOFree=$9.99
4 x Airwick double refills BOGOFree=$13.98
2 x Cover Girl concealers BOGO50%=$11.23
SubTotal......$51.19

Coupons Used
1 x $4 wyspend $20 R-A CatQ=$4.00
1 x $5 wyspend $25 R-A Vitamins R-AQ=$5.00
2 x $5.50/2 Airwick double refills IPQ=$11.00
2 x $3/1 Cover Girl face items IPQ=$6.00
Coupon Total.......$26.00

$51.19-$26.00=$25.19
If I had done the transaction correctly the first time I would have used the whole $10 in BC then $15.19 in free R-A gift cards so a "spend down" of $5.19

As it stands however I used $5.55 of my $10 BC and put the rest of the $11.39 OOP on various free R-A gift cards("spending" $16.94), received $1.01 in cash back on the botched transaction and earned my $20 Visa card code.
rah.

I've entered the code and got an email of congrats and my Visa card will be here in about 2 weeks.

Though there were no Wellness Wednesday coupons they did have the WW table set up with other coupons and samples on it........

$2/1 CeraVe item Qs and  $5 wyspend $25 R-A vitamins Qs.  R-A is introducing a new "cleaner" line of Vitamins and what with the whole R-A line of vitamins BOGOFree this week I incorporated those into what I bought.  If you need vitamins and you spend $25 it's not too bad a deal at R-A this weeek since their vitamins are also BOGOF.
That $5 Q is valid through Saturday 2/8 only though so if you find them in your store you have to use it this week but be warned, when I used the Q on 2/5 it beeped and the register said it was expired! lolz
Good old Rite-Aid.......

They also have 2 different CeraVe samples, Ricola drops(the new ones)and a little pill container for a key ring from Bayer.
Better than a poke in the eye with a stick but WWQs going away makes me sad.
But the company has to change things to stay competitive and not go bankrupt so it's understandable.

Did y'all buy anything at Rite-Aid this week?

Frugal Friday....the November 8th Edition

Here's what passed for frugal this past week in my world........

* Hubs and I used a coupon when we went out to lunch last Friday.

$5 off our lunch?
Yes please!

* I got a freebie in the mail last week..........

Saturday's mail brought a free notepad and return address labels to entice me to donate to St. Jude's Hospital.  Good timing as we were running low on address labels.

* I used a 15% everything in the store Q Ollie's sent me a week ago and forgot to show the food/HBA/toiletries stuff I bought last week..........

1 lb. of cashews, 2 boxes of instant au gratin taters, 2 cans of tomatoes and a box of pasta noodles.
Prices were already low/discount but take another 15% off and now it's "Sluggy Cheap" at $8.88 for everything in the picture. ;-)

* I found money!

Hubs and I went out to lunch and I found a nickel in Bob Evans.

Then I found 2 quarters in the coin return of the newspaper box outside of Bob Evans.

After lunch we stopped in Dollar Tree for a few things and I found these two pennies on the floor, one by the register and one beyond the register as I was leaving.

.57¢ in one day.....sweet!

Then I found a penny at Rite-Aid on Wellness Wednesday.............

.58¢ total for the week and for the win!

* I got the Weis freebie last Friday.........

A roll of paper towels.  With Dixie puppy around we can always use this item. lolz

*  I picked up two clearance items at Weis on Friday as well......
.79¢ a box.  Add some of that clearance canned chicken I picked up a couple of months ago and you've got a quick and cheap few meals. 8-)

* Speaking of Wellness Wednesday I got these for free........

The Robitussin was $5.99 on sale this past week.  There was a WWQ for $2 off which I paired with a $1/1 IPQ on the manufacturer's website(Unfortunately we no longer received RMN Q inserts in our Sunday paper here because there was an insert $3/1 Q. 8-((( ).
So $2.99 out the door paid for with BC.
Then I received a $3 SavingStar rebate so a .01¢ moneymaker when all was said and done.
The L'Oreal samples were also given out on WW at my store.

*  I worked the polls on Tuesday.  It kept me out of the stores and spending $$ AND I earned a whole $125.  Even better that "pay" is TAX-FREE! 8-)

*  I received coupons in the mail from both Rite-Aid and Weis(PMITA)Markets this week.  The Rite-Aid mailer also had a $4 when you spend $20 Q in it.
The Weis mailer had personalized Q and this too............

A reminder to clip the digital Q for a large Stouffer's party size lasagna(making it .99¢ OOP)that was in our account.  I would have found the Q eventually anyway but still.  It's been duly clipped now and ready to use before when it expires on Nov 28th.

That's about it from here.  I haven't been back to the grocery store since last Friday so I am off to
get a few things today.

What frugal wins did y'all have this past week?
Tell us all about them!

Rite-Aid Wellness Wednesday

Well my WW plan got blown out of the water when I got to the store yesterday.
Rite-Aid online had Cold-Eeze on sale for $4.99 a bag.
Stack the WWQ $4/1 Cold-Eeze and IPQ Manu $2/1 Cold-Eeze and you've got $1.01 overage for every bag you bought(so buy something at least $1.01 when you buy a bag to cover the overage)for free Cold-Eeze.

But in the store the Cold-Eeze was NOT on sale. sigh.
With 20% Wellness discount they were $6.79 so .79¢ OOP after stacked Qs.

First though, here are the samples they were giving out.........

A new Cold-Eeze 2 pack with elderberry in it, Vivarin caffeinated chewing gum and a Zim's Max Freeze sample pack.

Then I bought all this on my Daughter's card........

2 x Advil on sale=$27.98
3 x Robitussin on sale=$17.97
2 x Russell Stover sugar-free candy on sale=$4.00
SubTotal........$49.95

Coupons Used
2 x $4/1 Advil IPQ=$8.00
2 x $4/1 Advil WWQ=$8.00
3 x $2/1 Robitussin IPQ=$6.00
3 x $2/1 Robitussin WWQ=$6.00
2 x $1/1 Robitussin PeelieQ=$2.00
2 x $2/1 Russell Stover sugar-free WWQ=$4.00
Coupon Total.......$34.00

$49.95-$34.00=$15.95 paid for with Bonus Cash.

I earned $10 in new Bonus Cash and $6 at SavingStar($4 Advil, $2 Robitussin)so after all that a .05¢ moneymaker. ;-)

But I just looked at my SavingStar account and I not only got the 2 rebates I mentioned above but they also gave me the $4 AdvilPM rebate.  I bought 2 Advils so I guess they counted one against the PM rebate?  Whatever, I'll take it as it means a $4.05 moneymaker in the end.  ;-)

Then I bought this on my card......

1 x Cold-Eeze 20% Wellness disc.=$6.79
1 x Zims Max-Freeze on sale=$8.49
2 x R/S candy singles on sale=$1.00
SubTotal.........$16.28

Coupons Used
1 x $4/1 Cold-Eeze WWQ=$4.00
1 x $2/1 Cold-Eeze IPQ=$2.00
1 x $5/1 Zim's WWQ=$5.00
Coupon Total........$11.00

$16.28-$11.00=$5.28 paid for with Bonus Cash.
I earned back $4 in new BC($3 Zim's, $1 Russell Stover)so I spent down the BC by $1.28.  I had BC expiring soon and I'll go back later this week to spend some more.

*Update*
Remember all that cereal I bought on Monday?

Ibotta rebates popped up late Tuesday on my account for all three varieties I bought(Raisin Bran, Special K, Frosted Mini-Wheats)so I submitted the receipt and got another $6.00 in cash rebates back, including a $1 Kellogg's bonus for submitting for 3 or more cereal brands.

Now that transaction is also a $5.31 moneymaker between cash rebates and BC earned.
8-)))

Wellness Wednesday Rite-Aid Stuff

May is the second month now when there were no Load2Card Wellness Wednesday Only coupons again.
sigh.

No more wonderful opportunities to stack both L2C WWQs with the paper WWQs in the store(+ ManuQs for items if available)for overage and lots of freebies anymore.

I never understood why R-A made the WWQs digital anyway.  I know there are many Senior Citizens who are computer savvy but I think the last age group a company would go after with techy Qs would be this age category? ;-)

I got a couple freebies on the WW table when I went into the store...........

a sample of a new Band-Aid product and 2 samples of a L'Oreal cream w/Qs.
In other news our Wellness Ambassador is moving to Texas!  I doubt she will be replaced with a new Wellness Ambassador so the paper WWQs may be a thing of the past once she leaves.
She's a great person but she's leaving the state for new opportunities.  I am sad to see her go but I wish her all the best.  8-)))

Anyway I figured out a couple of things that would be a moneymaker on Wellness Wednesday so I bought this...........

2 x Thermacare on sale BOGO50%=$11.38
2 x Centrum on sale BOGO50%=$19.03
SubTotal.............$30.41

Coupons Used
2 x $3/1 Thermacare IPQ=$6.00
2 x $3/1 Thermacare WWQ=$6.00
2 x $2/1 Centrum IPQ=$4.00
2 x $4/1 Centrum WWQ=$8.00
Coupon Total.....$24.00

$30.41-$24.00=$6.41 OOP paid with Bonus Cash and earned $10 in new BC(these items were part of a Deal this week "Spend $30/Get $10 in BC".

Except, something went very wrong.
I had $11.71 in BC on this card and I think the cashier hit the "use my points" button on the register before she finished scanning all my Qs.  At some point I was left still holding 3 of my Qs and the cashier was telling me I owed $1.70 cash as she had applied ALL my BC already.
WTF?!?

So I added a candy bar(.59¢)and my total was $2.29 and she took another $2/1 Q to use.  My total was now .29¢OOP and I still had $5 in Qs yet to use.
I paid the .29¢ w/one of my many R-A gift cards and went to find the manager.

We put our heads together and yep, the cashier had "prematurely ejaculated my Bonus Cash" onto this transaction and had used all the BC before using all my Qs. lolz

Instead of returning everything and re-ringing the transaction I had planned to do, she just went ahead and did a "post coupon" sale for my $5 in Qs and handed me the cash.

So my transaction looked like this in the end..........

I paid $11.71 in BC, .29¢ on a gift card and got back $10 in new Bonus Cash and $5 in cash for the Qs not used.
I will also get $5 in cash rebates on Saving Star($3 Thermacare, $2 Centrum)for buying 1 of each of these items which makes me $8 ahead in the end on this.

($12 total in BC/gift card spent, $10 in new BC earned, $5 for Qs, $5 in cash rebates=$8 overage)

Oh how I will miss those Wellness Wednesday of the good ol' days......*sniff, sniff*

I used Bonus Cash/R-A gift card to pay so Zero OOP.
I earned back $17 in new BC($3 Ensure Max, $1 Russell Stover, $3 Folgers wyb $10, $10 wys $30 on L'Oreal)and a $2.50 oyno Catalina for buying L'Oreal 'poos/conditioners.(On second thought, I should have bought them in two transactions.....4 per transaction and I would have gotten 2 x $2.50 Catalinas.  sigh.  Oh well, I am not prefect.)
I also earned $1.75 in Ibotta rebates($1 Folgers, .75¢ Werther's).
So $15.22 "spent" and $21.25 "earned".

Then I bought this on my Daughter's card..........

1 x Daylogic dandruff shampoo=$5.43
3 x 1850 Folger's Coffee=$21.57

So here is my last transaction on my son's card..........

Given what I bought, coupons used and what I paid OOP in BC in the last 2 transactions, take a guess on what I paid in Bonus Cash and what I earned back in new BC.
The only "new" thing bought here was 2 x Ziploc bags.
Go on, guess......

I'll update this post tomorrow with what I paid in BC/gift cards and what I earned back for all 3 transactions.

A Porn Fest from Rite-Aid

I did various deals on each of my 3 Wellness cards/account on Wednesday.  I loaded the Wellness Wednesday Load2Card Qs plus stacked the paper pamphlet WWQs and sprinkled in a few IPQ or ManuQs to triple stack on a few items too.

A couple of the WW deals double dipped with the "Spent $50/Get $20 Gas Visa Card" Deal--the Centrum and the Emergen-C.  After buying those I only needed a few more items that qualified(that were also on sale and I had IPQs for)to reach the $50 of spending.

This all was on my son's card/account.  The Folgers L2CQ didn't come off(just the WW pamphlet Q did) that "costs $1.79 instead of being a moneymaker.  The R-A artificial tears were .39¢ after stacked Qs.
After stacked or triple stacked Qs, the Crest mouth wash was -.77¢, the Crest toothpaste was -.97¢, the Soothe XP was -$2.41, the throat drops were -.51¢, the large make-up remover pads were -.17¢, the Ginger Chews, the smaller make-up remover pads and the Power Toothbrush set were each -.01¢.

I made a tactical error buying the Centrum and the Emergen-C in the same transaction as it charged me full price for the Emergen-C(the highest priced item), took 50% off 1 Centrum and 20% discount on the second Centrum instead of BOGO50% on both Centrums and 20% discount on the Emergen-C.  Doing them all in one transaction meant I paid .30¢ for all 3.  Not a deal breaker.

To get to $50 of qualifying products I also bought 2 x Eucerin(BOGO50% + $6 in Qs), 2 Dial foaming hand soups($4-$1.50 in IPQ)and 1 Cover Girl blush palette($2 instant discount + $2 IPQ)which came to $22.62-$9.50 in Qs=$13.12.  With tax I spent $13.30 in Bonus Cash on all the above and earned a $20 Visa Gas Card.

This lot was bought on my card/account.
Again, the Folgers "cost" $1.79 because the L2C WWQ didn't come off. Same items were same prices above, most were slight moneymakers.  I also bought a Thermacare item($6.07-$3 L2CQ)as it qualified for the "Spend $50/$20 Gas Card".  I did purchase the Emergen-C and Centrum in separate transactions this time(saving myself .30¢)

I "spent" $2.94 total in Bonus Cash on this lot and I have $35.99 tracking toward the Gas Card Deal(Only $14.01 left to spend).

This lot was bought on my daughter's card/account. Same stacked WWQs used and a couple of regular manu L2CQs.  I had to add in the Dial hand soap pumps(plus a $1.50/2 IPQ)because my total was in the negative without them.
Total paid OOP in Bonus Cash(with tax)was .29¢

Before leaving I also bought these 4 small Lindt bags. Each has 2 truffles in it and they are strawberries and cream.
On sale this week at Rite-Aid for $1 if you buy 2 or more(otherwise $1.29 w/out Wellness discount level you are at).
I had 4 x $1/1 Lindt truffle bag IPQ(coupons dotcom)and they specifically say on this size bag or larger so they were free(no sales tax on food in PA).  8-)))

Free chocolate?  Yes, please!!

All together I spend $16.53 in Bonus Cash on $341.04 reg. retail worth of stuff at Rite-Aid.
Plus I earned a $20 Visa Gas Card and got $4 back on Saving Star in cash rebates.
**Edited on Friday to add that I got $2 back for the Thermacare purchase on Ibotta as well so I'm up to $6 in cash back on these purchases. 8-)))

Oh and I got a sample sized tube of Burt's Bees toothpaste which I forgot to photograph. ;-)

All in all not a bad Wellness Wednesday.....

Did you get anything at Rite-Aid this week?

More Rite-Aid Pillaging This Week-For Sonya Ann 8-)

Lots of good deals(see free or almost free stuff)at Rite-Aid this Week.

Let's recap where we are at first.....

From Sunday--
On my card.......
After cash rebates and spending Bonus Cash this transaction is "up" $4.40.

On Daughter's card........

After cash rebates and spending Bonus Cash this transaction is "up" $5.42.

On Monday I bought this on my card.......

7 x Breyer's ice cream on sale 2/$7=$24.50 *one has been eaten already so that's why 6 are in the photo.
2 x Suave body wash BOGOFree=$2.59
4 x Suave deodorant BOGOFree=$4.58
2 x Russell Stover pumpkins on sale=$1.00
SubTotal.....$32.67

Coupons Used
1 x $8 off wyspend $30 CatalinaQ=$8.00
7 x $1.50/1 Breyer's ice cream IPQ=$10.50
Coupon total......$18.50

$32.67-$18.50=$14.17 +.43¢ tax=$14.60 paid for with Bonus Cash
I earned back $15.00 in new Bonus Cash(2 x $4 wyspend $12 on select food/drink, 3 x $2 Suave, $1 R/S pumpkins)making this a .40¢ moneymaker.
I also submitted for $3 in Ibotta cash rebates(2 x Suave body wash .25¢, 4 x Suave deodorant .50¢)so now it's a $3.40 moneymaker.

I noticed on the receipts that all the Oral-B/Crest items I had bought so far not only earned a $3 Rebate for that item BUT there was a Spend $20/Earn $5 that they also qualified for as I had tracking toward that BC Deal now on both cards.  Turns out this $5/on $20 Deal is a monthly one that most P&G items qualify for.

So I headed back on Monday and bought this on my card which had $8 tracking.........

2 x Crest toothpaste on sale=$4.00
1 x Old Spice deodorant 20% Wellness disc.=$4.63
SubTotal......$8.63

I only had a $1/1 Old Spice deo. ManuQ to use so $8.63-$1.00=$7.63+.22¢ tax=$7.85 paid for with Bonus Cash.
I earned back $8 in new Bonus Cash(2 x $3 Crest, $5 wyspend $20)so this was a .15¢ moneymaker.

Then I bought this on daughter's card.........

2 x Playtex tampons on sale=$13.98
1 x Oral-B 2 pack toothbrushes 20% Wellness disc.=$6.79
SubTotal......$20.77

Coupons Used
1 x $4 wyspend $20 CatlinaQ=$4.00
2 x $2/1 Playtex tampons In-AdQ=$4.00
2 x $2/1 Playtex tampon IPQ=$4.00
1 x $2/1 Oral-B mutli-pack In-AdQ=$2.00
Coupon Total.....$14.00

$20.77-$14.00=$6.77 paid for with Bonus Cash
I earned back $5($5 wyspend $20)so "spent down" $1.77 in BC.
But then I submitted my receipt to Ibotta and earned $8.00 in cash rebates(2 x $2.50 Playtex, $3 Oral-B multi-pack "Vivid" type toothbrushes)and received a $2 Playtex rebate on SavingStar so this becomes a $8.23 moneymaker.  8-)

Then I hit Rite-Aid on Wednesday as it was Wellness Wednesday(1st Wed. of the month).  The free samples were mighty thin at my store.......a pack of Emergen-C tablets and a trial size of Sensodyne toothpaste(the one Hubs uses)which I didn't take a photo of, sorry.

The Wellness Wednesday one day coupons weren't too great for my needs BUT........
The same WW coupons in the one day pamphlet can be loaded to your Wellness card as L2CQs now.

I tested a theory and bought this on daughter's card(the only card where I can access the Load2Card Qs).......

2 x Colgate toothpaste on sale($3.99)=$7.98
1 x Gold Bond anti-itch cream 20% Wellness disc.=$7.59
SubTotal......$15.57

2 x $2/1 Colgate In-AdQ=$4.00
1 x $4/2 Colgate L2CQ=$4.00
1 x $3/1 Gold Bond anti-itch cream L2CQ=$3.00
1 x $3/1 Gold Bond anit-itch cream WWQ=$3.00
Coupon Total.......$14.00

$15.57-$14.00-$1.57 paid for with Bonus Cash.
Didn't earn any new BC back but my theory worked.....both the paper pamphlet WWQ came off AND the L2CQ for the same item so it was double coupon savings on the Gold Bond.
Yes! 8-)

I went home and found a $1/1 Gold Bond IPQ(figures I find it AFTER I bought the Gold Bond)so I'll take the Q up today and get $1 cash which makes this transaction cost me .57¢. ;-)

So I then bought this on daughter's card.  I had a $4 off $20 CatalinaQ to use but I had to account for all the L2CQs coming off before I used it on the transaction so my "total" had to be at least $20 BEFORE L2CQs.........

1 x Gold Bond cracked skin item 20% Wellness disc.=$6.79
2 x R-A cold and flu pills on sale=$8.00
1 x Nasacort allergy spray 20% Wellness disc.=$12.79
1 x Biscoff cookies 20% Wellness disc.=$2.71
1 x R/S sugar-free mint patties 20% Wellness disc.=$2.23
2 x Hershey bars(caramel cookie)20% Wellness disc.=$1.84
1 x random chocolate truffle 20% Wellness disc.=.31¢
SubTotal.........$34.67

Coupons Used
1 x $4 off $20 order CatalinaQ=$4.00
1 x $3/1 Gold Bond cracked skin WWQ=$3.00
2 x $2/1 R-A cold and flu WWQ=$4.00
1 x $5/1 Nasacort WWQ=$5.00
1 x $5/1 Nasacort L2CQ=$5.00
1 x $2/1 Biscoff WWQ=$2.00
1 x $2/1 Biscoff L2CQ=$2.00
1 x $1.50/1 R/S candy WWQ=$1.50
1 x $1.50/1 R/S candy L2CQ=$1.50
2 x .50/1 Hershey instant PeelieQ=$1.00
Coupon Total..$29.00

$34.67-$29.00=$5.67 paid for with Bonus Cash.
I earned back $2 in new BC($2 Nasacort)so "spent down" BC by $3.67.

So both the Nasacort Qs, Biscoff Qs, Russell Stover Qs came off but the Gold Bonds and the R-A cold and flu ones didn't.   If they had coupons would have totaled $34 and I would have spent .67 in BC and earned $2 back.
I could return those 3 items and get back $ in Bonus Cash on my card.  I'll probably just take another $1/1 Gold BondQ up and get $1 post coupon and keep it all which will make this a $2.67 spend down situation. ;-)

As things stand here's what each item cost me in this transaction......

Gold Bond cracked skin item=$2.79(after taking $1 off the $4 off $20 Q)
R-A cold and flu pills on sale=$1.00 each(after taking $1 off each for the $4 off $20Q)
Nasacort allergy spray=$1.79(after taking $1 off the $4 off $20Q)
Biscoff cookies= negative $1.29
R/S sugar-free mint patties=negative .77¢
Hershey bars(caramel cookie)20% Wellness disc.=.42¢ each
Random chocolate truffle=.31¢

Then I did the Crest/Oral-B weekly Deal items w/BC and items that double dip qualifying for the $5 wys $20 on P&G items on son's card using another $4 off $20 transaction CatalinaQ...........

2 x Crest toothpaste on sale=$8.00
2 x Oral-B toothbrushes on sale=$8.00
1 x Old Spice deodorant 20% Wellness disc.=$4.79
SubTotal........$20.79

Coupons Used
1 x $4/$20 CatalinaQ=$4.00
1 x $1/1 Old Spice deo ManuQ=$1.00
Coupon Total....$5.00

$20.67-$5.00=$15.79 +.18¢ tax=$15.97 paid for with Bonus Cash.
I earned back $17.00 in new BC(2 x $3 Crest, 2 x $3 Oral-B,$5 wys $20 P&G items)so this was a $1.03 moneymaker.

Everything pictured in this post "cost" me $12.01 in Bonus Cash.
After $26.50 in cash Ibotta rebates/$2 SavingStar rebates I am "down" $12.01 in BC but "up" $28.60 in cash so up $16.49 overall.  8-)))

The only freebie deals left to finish this week are 2 more Suave items on my card and 8 Suave items on son's card(the Suave stuff is a freebie after Ibotta rebates).

Wellness Wednesday Afterall

I got to work on the tub of goodies for giveaways.
Here is everything in the Rubbermaid tub and in the grocery tote bag laid out on the table....

And here is some of the candy.........

I've got 7 boxes put together and filled them up with goodies already so we are good to go through August now for giveaways.  8-))

About noon Wednesday Hubs went out to commence the shoveling and the snow had turned over to ice and rain and by 1 pm it was all rain.  Generally where we live if the weather folks say, "higher elevations will see snow and not sleet", that's what happens.  We are colder in the higher elevation here but this time the temp climbed over 32F here so we got rain, turning the roads to slush.

So Hubs drove me up to Rite-Aid during this short window of opportunity above freezing and I got my stuff and we scooted home.
Well I got my goodies after the pharmacist found the Wellness Wednesday stuff in a locked cabinet.

The Wellness Ambassador person who handles WW stuff didn't come in today as she has a small child and all the schools were closed yesterday.  And of course the assistant manager who was there didn't know where the stuff was kept(heck he didn't even realize it was WW!lol).  Luckily the pharmacist having no customers basically(did I mention I was the only customer in the store while I was there?)so she had a few minutes to hunt down the Qs.  I would have been so disappointed if I had gone up there in this weather and couldn't buy anything.

Here is what I got..........

4 x Centrum vitamins=$39.96
4 x Neutrogena concealer makeup=$25.64
4 x Arm and Hammer detergent=$7.96 *not pictured*
4 x Ricola cough drops=$8.00
2 x R/S candy chocolate hearts=$1
2 x Thermacare back patches=$12.14
SubTotal.......$94.70

Coupons Used
4 x $4/1 Centrum WWQ=$16.00
2 x $3/1 Centrum IPQ=$6.00
2 x $2/1 Centrum IPQ=$4.00
4 x $5/1 Neutrogena make-up WWQ=$20.00
4 x $1/1 Arm and Hammer detergent IPQ=$4.00
2 x $1/2 Ricola ManuQ=$2.00
1 x $1/2 R/S candy hearts L2CQ=$1.00
2 x $3/1 Thermacare IPQ=$6.00
2 x $2/1 Thermacare In-AdQ=$4.00
A $2/1 Thermacare L2CQ also came off=$2.00
Coupon Total.......$65.00

I also had a $3/WYS $15 CatalinaQ but the new inexperienced cashier scanned it after giving my Wellness account and scanning all the other Qs so it didn't come off(my total by then was too low because $28 in Bonus Cash came off automatically when the Wellness card got scanned).  As long as I have Bonus Cash on a card I'll never get to use one of these $3/$15 Catalinas. sigh.

$94.70-$65.00=$29.70
$28 in BC came off(the $20 I wanted to use plus another $8 BC)and I paid the rest, $1.70, with a Rite-Aid gift card(I couldn't use PPs because the balance was under $2).

The first 4 items in my transaction all counted toward the Spend $40/Get $15 Back in Bonus Cash Deal and totaled $81.56 before Qs, so I earned back 2 x $15 in new Bonus Cash on those.

Two of the Centrums were $2.99 and two were $3.99 after stacked Qs.
The Neutrogena items were $1.41 each after WWQs.
The Arm and Hammer detergents were .99¢ each after Qs.
The Ricola bags were $1.50 each after Qs.
The Russel/Stover chocolate hearts were free after L2CQ.
The 2 Thermacare items .14¢ after Qs but I also earned $4.50 in SavingStar on two different rebates for Thermacare(yesterday was the last day to earn one of them).

I also earned a $3 SavingStar rebate on one of the Centrum purchases, so $7.50 total in SavingStar rebates on yesterday's transaction.

Used $28 in BC, put $1.70 on a gift card.
Earned back $30 in new BC and $7.50 in cash rebates.
A pretty good trip to Rite-Aid.  8-))
