Rite-Aid Sunday & Monday Trips + My New Temp Job....Maybe

I made a trip to Rite-Aid on Sunday to get some cereal and other things.

Select varieties of cereal were $1.88 a box on a 3-Day Sale(Sun. to Tues.)this week at R-A.
I also had 3 x $1/1 Kellogg's Qs(paid for with points in my Kellogg's Family Rewards account)and  a $1/2 Kellogg's cereal IPQ so I bought this...........

3 x Rice Krispies strawberry flavor $1.88 each=$5.64
2 x Frosted Mini-Wheats(1 original/1 strawberry)$1.88 each=$3.76
SubTotal........$9.40

Now I used those $4 in Qs I mentioned above plus see those yellow $1 R-A instant coupons on the 3 boxes of strawberry Rice Krispies?
Yep I got $7 total off so 5 boxes of cereal cost me $2.40.

And then my card had this Bonus Cash Challenge.........

So I will earn $2.50 in new BC in April for spending $9 on Kellogg's cereals so now I've been paid .10¢ to take these boxes home.

AND.......I will received $2.65 in cash rebates on Ibotta as well(2 x .35¢ Mini-Wheats/3 x .65¢ Rice Krispies)so now I've made $2.75 between BC and cash for buying these 5 cereals.

Some will go to the food bank in the next couple of weeks(depending on which ones Ex-CB wants to keep for his consumption). 8-)))

Then I bought this lot on son's card.

I earned back $3 in new BC now($1 R/S eggs wyb2, $2 Rimmel wyb2 items)so I spent down $5.46 in BC.
I will get $9.75 in more BC in April($7 for 6 $15+ visits, $2.75 more in CoverGirl spending)for this transaction so that takes my transaction to a $4.29 moneymaker.
AND add in that I will get a .25¢ cash rebate on Ibotta for buying the Reese's pb cup pack.

Then I had to pick up an Rx on Monday so I finished off some more deals while I was there..........

Nice.

Things have gotten "real" here since Monday with non-essential businesses shutting down(including Ex-CB's store)and the report of the first case of the virus in our county.  For now I'll be self-quarantining and if we need anything Hubs will be going out since he is at a lower risk of catching this thing.  I am immune-suppressed and on a Biologic but he's just old. ;-)
They also closed our state run liquor stores here as of tonight....the ONE state agency we really NEED right now! LOL

And last night I got a phone call from the Census folks.  I had applied for a job with the Census this year and I've been accepted.  Now I'm not so sure I want/can do this job since it involves going door to door and interacting with people.
I will go forward with the process though and hope they push back when they send workers out to count.  The Census door-to-door counting was suppose to begin Mid-May and finish by July for those who didn't complete their form online.  You would think that they'd delay this phase of the process what with a pandemic going on, right?  We shall see.......

Just a reminder that any Qs that print out on your receipt or Qs that R-A snail mails to you are R-A Qs and can be stacked with ManuQs(from inserts, peelies/tearpads or printed out from online).

I earned back $10 in new BC plus I'll get another $5.25 in BC in April as I completed the Bonus Cash Challenge for L'Oreal products with this purchase. woot!

That makes $11.66 spent and $15.25 earned so a $3.59 moneymaker.  8-)))

Then on Sunday with the new sales ad week at R-A I bought this stuff on my son's card/accountm again taking advantage of lots of R-A Qs to stack with ManuQs.........

And I earned $10 in new Bonus Cash using that In-Ad Q making this a $5.33 moneymaker.
Plus I achieved the $1.25 BC level for buying the Cover Girl on this card's Bonus Cash Challenge so a $6.58 moneymaker once April rolls around. ;-)

Now there is some confusion over the BIC In-ad R-A Q this week.

Some folks are saying it's a ManuQ and you can't stack it with a reg. ManuQ but it doesn't say it's a ManuQ though it is beeping if you try to use it with a ManuQ.
So make sure you hand over this In-Ad Q BEFORE the insert ManuQ.  If the In-Ad Q beeps they can't push it through manually but they CAN push through the insert ManuQ and if the staff tries to tell you the In-Ad Q is a manuQ point out the wording and that it says "Also Save Up To $5 off with coupons in most Sunday papers".

Ok, that's all I got on the Rite-Aid front for now.  The ad isn't very exciting this week but if you can put together $40 worth of stuff(but have Qs so you don't actually PAY that much! lol)it's worth doing that for the $10 BC Deal.

Everything I got on these two trips will be Giveaway items except 1 concealer and the coffee....and I have to exchange the coffee for the bagged type as we don't have a Keurig thingy but that was all they had in stock at my tiny store.

If you "do" Rite-Aid tell me if you are one of the lucky ones who got the Bonus Cash Challenge Offer(as not everyone got the email about it)and what challenges you selected.

My Rite-Aid Haul Friday/Saturday

Here's what I bought on Friday at Rite-Aid............

2 x Irish Spring body wash
2 x Lady Speed Stick deodorant
2 x Crest toothpaste($3 on sale ones)
1 x Crest toothpaste expensive one
1 x Enrich Gillette beard/face wash
1 x Oral-B 2 pack toothbrushes
1 x Biscoff cookies/biscuits
Subtotal was $33.00 with my 30% off Q.

I  used $25.50 in assorted Qs so paid $7.50 in BC for all this.
But for some reason the $3 L2CQ for the expensive Crest toothpaste got booted off(I always have them print out a subtotal receipt to see if the L2CQS come off before I hand over my paper Qs)so I returned that and rebought it.
Total without that item was $27.41-$25.50 in Qs=$1.91.
I rebought that toothpaste after on it's own and the $3/1 L2CQ came off so it was $2.59.
$1.91+$2.59=$4.50 paid with Bonus Cash.

The Enrich Gillette face/beard wash was on the clearance table for $2.99 and I used a $2/1 ManuQ and it counts toward one of the Bonus Cash Challenges I picked.  One more item of Venus/Gillette before the end of March and I'll earn $5.25 in BC on that(I am up to $3.50 on that challenge for now.).
This transaction also put me at three transactions over $15(subtotaled)so I got another $5.00 in BC on that BC Challenge deal.
I've also got $3.49 in Oral-B cred toward that BC Challenge but not enough to hit one of the 3 levels to earn BC on that Challenge item yet.

I also earned $4 in new BC(2 x Crest $1, 2 x Irish Spring $1)so I "spent" down .50¢ in BC.

And here is what I bought on Saturday..........

3 x Pantene 30% off $3.49=$10.47
1 x Tide liquid on sale=$5.94
1 x Tide pods 30% off=$5.45
1 x Lady Speed Stick deodorant 30% off=$2.44
SubTotal......$24.30

Coupons Used
1 x $5/3 Pantene ManuQ=$5.00
2 x $2/1 Tide L2CQ=$4.00
1 x $2/1 Speed Stick In-AdQ=$2.00
1 x .50¢/1 Speed Stick IPQ=.50¢
Coupon Total.......$11.50

$24.30-$11.50=$12.80+.77¢=$13.57 paid for with Bonus Cash.
I earned back $10 in new BC(Spend $30 on select items/Get $10 BC).  In the end I "spent down" $3.57 today and .50¢ yesterday so $4.07 spent down in all this week at R-A.
Each of the three deodorants I bought were a .06¢ moneymaker so that was .18¢ in overage that applied to other non-moneymaker items in my transactions.  Hey, every little bit helps! ;-)

I also have a Tide Bonus Cash Challenge offer so I have earned $2.75 in BC buying these 2 Tide products as I spent over $11(before Qs/BC applied)on them.
I am up to $11.25 total earned on all my Bonus Cash Challenges to this point.($5 for 3 trips over $15, $3.50 for Gillette/Venus, $2.75 for Tide).

Not a bad week for Rite-Aid shopping.  I've got a little over $25 in BC on my card, spent enough that nothing is expiring in the next two weeks and I'll probably take next week off from R-A.

What did you buy during the 30% Friends and Family Weekend at Rite-Aid?
