ReplyDeleteA single Mom had surgery, so I brought them a couple meals and picked up her children from school as needed.

Oh my goodness, so many good things in there. I’ll be entering several days. Yesterday there was a couple of grandparents in the car next to me with small children. I had a box of food in my car for the food pantry but gave it to them instead. They were very grateful!

ReplyDeleteNot entering the giveaway ( I am in a decluttering/fixing my former “work” house now to be retirement house mode) but just want to say I am delighted you are moving back to the good physicians you had in Pennsylvania. Access to healthcare that helps you is so important! I also like the part of Pennsylvania that is similar to Kentucky, yet close to good urban healthcare specialties. That is a win/win in my book! ReplyDeleteMy husband has stage 4 kidney cancer and I am his primary care provider. You name it, I do if for him. It's easy to feel sorry for myself but then remember that God is looking after both of us.

ReplyDeleteWe helped catch the neighbor’s escaped chihuahua yesterday. He slipped under the fence and led us on a chase around the neighborhood. She didn’t have a Nextdoor account so I posted her contact information in case someone caught him.

Let's see... I am helping my son and family by taking their 2 dogs for a week and also going to their house morning and night to feed and take care of farm animals while they vacation. I helped a neighbor set up for a field day to raise moolah for her horse rescue. The most important thing I have done for others is not maim or kill anyone when they annoy me or drive me insane :) I feel that is a give back don't you?
