More Lies By Omittance from Harris

A woman who will deny her white paternal relatives in order to garner votes from black voters who have been the stronghold of the Democrat database, and lie about being bussed in CA(there was no segregation in CA in the late 1960's/early 1970's when she still lived there)and grew up in a wealthy area of Montreal after her mother moved her and her sister there to take a job in the 1970's and attended private schools there has no "black" American experience to impart onto the masses in the USA.

I'm just sayin'....

Here are some more of the Candace Owens youtube/podcasts delving into Ms. Harris' paternal relatives.

There are more videos but if you are interested you can jump on YouTube and find Candace's channel.

It's all very interesting(at least to me)how you can, pardon the pun, white wash your ancestry and the public let's you get away with it., along with all the other lies she has told.

The current thinking right now is that Kamala has Sephardic Jewish ancestry on her paternal side independent from her Irish slave owning ancestors.  That Spanish Jewish ancestry would account for her non-Indian melanin coloring.  This would explain so much(why she didn't pick Josh Shapiro as her running mate)and why she is hiding her true racial identity(so she can attempt to carry the state of Michigan which is a swing state chock full of Muslims.  You know if the truth came out she'd loose a large part of her voter base there(along with the support of "the Squad").

I don't mean to sound like a conspiracy theorist  but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck......

Wow...My Mouth is Hanging Open

I like Candace Owens.  Have for awhile.
A bit ago Janet Jackson made some allegations about Kamala Harris(about how she went after her brother Michael Jackson when she was a prosecutor in CA and about the fact that Kamala is NOT black-the majority of her Jamaican family is white and descended from Irish migrants who were slave traders, etc.  Her father looks like a white man and is a marxist).

Well after the press went after Janet Jackson for voicing all this Candace Owens took up for Janet Jackson and began delving into Kamala Harris' genealogy to try to get to the truth.   And you all KNOW how I love genealogy! lol  So I was hooked on this journey into her ancestry and it has been  revealing some interesting facts about Ms. Harris on Candace's Podcasts.  Then things got weird.

Do you know Kamala wrote a book in 2019, back before her brief run for the presidential nomination in 2020 called "The Truths We Hold".

Candace uncovered that two of the photos in the book are frauds.  Both of them have Kamala pictured with her grandmother who appears to be very very dark.   This supposed  grandmother died 4 years before Kamala was born.  WTF?  The photos is either photoshopped or photos of her with her Jamaican family's help who were very black.

Word got out that someone was questioning the authenticity of her book/photos so the publisher pulled that edition and deleted the photos in question.  What?!?

Now Judge Joe Brown(remember him from TV?  He was a real Judge in California)has appeared on Candace's podcast with some very interesting tidbits of info.

Think what you want, but this candidate smells like last week's fish to me.

I just want to get the word out for people to hear so they can make up their minds after hearing all this.

This Week on the Dining Table....Oct 20th to Oct. 26th

The "Would You Trust This Man? Edition.........

On a recent trip to Walmart I happened to notice this up above one of the end cases in the Frozen Food Section.
It's a photo of a Walmart Employee and notes "Donald (Last Name Redacted) Backs This Product".  This is over a freezer case holding Great Value Brand Corn Dogs.

I guess compared to name brand corn dogs this is a good thing but really, what grownup eats corn dogs....other than as a lark at a State Fair or a single man still living in his parents basement.
I should have asked at the CS desk that if I bought them and didn't like them as much as Donald that I could return them to Donald for a full refund.  ;-)

September's Meal Planning turned into a big fat Cluster "You Know What"  so we are starting fresh in October.

Onward to the meal planning!
This is what was planned for last week...........
1. Sunday--Leftover Lasagna, Salad, Leftover Garlic Bread
2. Monday--BBQ Pork, Coleslaw, Asparagus
3. Tuesday--Leftover Meatloaf, Assorted Leftover Veggies
4. Wednesday--Homemade Sauce with Pasta, Salad
5. Thursday--Crab Cakes, Leftover or Frozen
Veggies
6. Friday--Chicken Strips, Leftover or Frozen Veggies
7. Saturday--Shrimp, Leftover or Frozen Veggies

And here's what actually happened....
1. Sunday--Leftover Lasagna, Salad, Leftover Garlic Bread
2. Monday--BBQ Pork, Buns(optional), Coleslaw
3. Tuesday--Leftover Meatloaf, Asparagus
4. Wednesday--Crab Cakes, Leftover Sweet Potato Fries, Green Beans
5. Thursday--Homemade Sauce with Pasta, Leftover Broccoli
6. Friday--Shrimp, Yellow Squash and Onions
7. Saturday--Salmon, Leftover Asparagus and Cole Slaw

More Leftovers appeared than I planned but most meals planned were eaten.

What got taken out of the freezer last week....
*  A Pork Butt
*  Crab Cakes
*  Chicken Strips
*  Shrimp
*  Salmon
*  Spinach SoufflĂ©**
**I dropped the cooked spinach soufflĂ© on the floor when taking it out of the oven so it was  leftover veggies for the win.

What got put into the freezer last week....
*  2 pcs. of Salmon
*  2 lbs. of Flounder
*  1 box of Shrimp
*  1 box of Shrimp Scampi
*  1 box of Spring Rolls
*  2 Apple Bread Batter Rolls
*  18 ct. Burritos
*  Most of the BBQ I made

Last week we spent $150.13 grocery shopping.

Total shopping comes to $471.18 for October.   There are 10 shopping days left in October.

Rebate monies earned this month so far.....
I've earned $220.37 on Ibotta in October.
I've earned $3.00 on Shopmium in October.
I've earned $0.00 on TaDa in October.
I've earned $23.48 on Checkout51 in October.
I've earned $105.72 on Aisle, etc. in October. (Haven't gotten my Nature Valley rebate yet from June.)
I've earned 16,295 points on Fetch from food shopping in October.
I've earned 7,589 points from food shopping on Shop Kick in October.($8.94)
I've earned 1,919 Points on My Points in October.(not sure what the conversion rate it here)
I've earned 1,638 from food shopping on Swag Bucks in October.($16.38)

That is $352.57 in rebates(not counting Shop Kick/Fetch/MyPoints/Swag Bucks/The Insiders were I earned gift cards)on $471.18 of grocery spending so in reality it's $118.61 in food spending after the rebate apps I count. I now separate out the Food Bank donations and don't count those in the grocery spending(but I do count any rebates on those items) so it's a win/win--the food bank gets a large donation of goods and I get a lower grocery bill.

My savings percentage for the last week was 46.12% and the monthly savings total for October comes in at 47.86% spent.

Leftovers going into this week....squash and onions, bbq, cole slaw, spaghetti with sauce, 1 helping of lasagna.  And a large load of bbq sans sauce got put into the freezer.

Here is this week's food plan.....
1. Sunday--Chicken Strips, Squash & Onions
2. Monday--Risotto, Salad
3. Tuesday--Chilli(Hubs), TV dinner(me)
4. Wednesday--Flounder, Veggie TBD
5. Thursday--Leftovers
6. Friday--Flatbread Pizza, Salad
7. Saturday--Leftovers

What is getting fixed and served at your house this week?

Was last week's plan successful, did you go off plan or did you not even plan what was going to be eaten last week?

Income & Spending.....the September Edition

Now that we are living on an annuity, 401K$ withdrawals, personal savings and social security payments, I am still going to keep track of our monthly spending and income, and hopefully we'll still be able to live BELOW our means and I'll have some leftover monies each month to tuck aside.

We went into retirement in June of 2017 with no debt, no mortgage nor a car payment.

I am trying to be as transparent as I can with how much is coming in and how much is going out. 8-)

On to the September report--

I have 2 goals for September.....

The 1st is to actually finish the month in the black and not the red.

The 2nd is to try to have a little cash leftover at the end of the previous month to tuck back into a slush fund.  This slush fund may be applied toward unforeseen bills that are coming due in subsequent months, to spend on "extras/wants" during the year or to just sit there and grow until the end of 2024.

*  I do not include/report on our retirement accounts here, just the non-retirement ones.

I'm happy to report that we finished up September in the black.

The amount extra we ended the month of September with?....$3,811.54

Income or Funds We Can Access

The "income" in September---

*  Monthly annuity payment of $2,530.11

*  SS income of $3,828.70

*  Interest earned on non-retirement accounts of $1,413.06

Total "Income" for September....$7,771.87

Expenses in September---

*  Irregular bills in September were $0.00

*  Variable expenses in September came to $3,252.90

*  Medical Premiums in September were $707.43

Total Expenses....$3,960.33

$7,771.87-$3,960.33=$3,811.54.

Slush Fund coming into September of $67,630.38 and the addition of $3,811.54 in September, our end of September 2024 Slush Fund comes to $71,441.92.

The Slush Fund, on it's own page(tab at the top of the blog), shows an addition of $3,811.54.

Outgo

As for the variable expenses this September, here are the good and bad side of things.....

Here are the GOOD THINGS

*  The cellphone bill was .06¢ higher than in August.
*  The WAM was the same as the previous month.
*  My Amazon card was $229.32 less than in August.
*  The Joint Mastercard was $32.64 less than last month.
*  Hubs Amazon card was $326.91 less than in August.
*  Hubs Aviator card was $2,484.14 less than last month.
*  My Aviator card was $289.68 less than in August.

HERE are the BAD THINGS

*  The Water bill was $2.10 more than August's bill.
*  The electric bill was $46.65 more than the previous month.
*  The joint Mastercard was $8.08 higher than in August.(not a big thing)

The Food Budget costs for September are in another post HERE.  Food costs are included in the credit card payments(mainly but sometimes our WAM cash too).

FINAL THOUGHTS for September 2024---Financially it was a good month.

GOING FORWARD INTO October 2024--We've got three irregular bills--house insurance(ouch!) and the dogs go to the vet and the groomers.  So the 0outgo will be about $1,600 higher in October for those alone.  We are also still trying to recoup what we paid out for the Alaska cruise we couldn't go on in August due to a medical issue.  The cruise line only refunded 25% of what we paid and is making us go through the travel insurance we purchased to get the rest of what we are out.

Here's hoping 2024 treats us all even better financially! 8-))

So how was your September financially?
Did you spend less than the income you had in September?
Did you stay within your budget or not?
What did you do with any money leftover at the end of the month?
Did you pay down/off any debts or put extra toward your mortgage principle or into savings, in an emergency fund or retirement account?
Or did you blow all your excess monies after bills were paid on a "want"?

If you post your financial progress on your own blog, leave a link in the comments so we can  go check out your progress too and celebrate or commiserate with you!
