Don't Be A Hater

Thought for the Day.....
What makes us the same is greater than what makes us different.

Enjoy!

Fascinating.....

I just love Leanoard Nimoy.

My oldest brother, Dennis, was a big fan of Star Trek, right from the first time the USS Enterprise boldly went where nobody has gone before on our tv set in 1966.
Dennis likened himself to Mr. Spock.
He even began to style his hair like Spock's and started talking like him.
Here is Dennis with his prized hi-fi stereo he built looking all "Spockish"......

Dennis had a couple of Leonard Nimoy's record albums that he cut.
Yes, Mr. Nimoy fancied himself a singer and poet.
I'm sorry to do this to you, but play the clip below at personal risk to your hearing.....

And who can forget, really! I WANT to forget!!, this tune he performed on the variety show called Malibu University that aired the Summer of 1967....

Is it any wonder this series didn't make it past 7 episodes?

Here's a Bruno Mars hit music video he appeared  in last year.......

But here is the latest commercial for Audi pitting the Spocks(old and new) against each other.
Let's just say it's a BIG improvement over the Bilbo Baggins song.....
My brother Dennis would have liked this one.

Doggone Fun!

Just something fun to watch.  I am a fan of this musical group and the myriad of videos they have created.
They did this video in support of animal rescue.
We say heck ya! to second chance pets.....all of our dogs have come from shelters.
All I can say is that I sure wish my kids were this well trained...lol

Enjoy!

Monsters Revisited....

Remember the Youtube Video I shared awhile back?....This one HERE.

Well I found out this group of guys is a bonafide student a capella group affiliated with the U. of Oregon.
They are called "On The Rocks".
And they have been around for some time.
They have released a few records....ok, I guess you don't call them records because they don't make records anymore, so they have released albums or recorded music or whatever the terminology is nowadays. ;-)

They also re-recorded this particular GaGa video with actual production values.
So if you liked these Monsters the first time, go have a listen to this version....

I still say one of the lead singers, the one in the baseball cap, looks a bit like a young Seth Rogen....

And I'm having a debate over which video is better with a friend.
Do you prefer the impromptu one or the cleaned up "professional" version?
Leave a comment and let us know which side you weigh in on!

P.S.
I so hate you Joe because you have tickets to the tour!
