My Trip to Rite-Aid This Week on Sunday

Just one trip this week....unless someone uncovers an amazing deal I didn't see. lolz

There is always something throwing a wrench into my planned scenarios.
This week there was no $2/1 Excedrin ManuQ in our insert so I worked around it.
Then once in the store I saw they had NO Lysol wipes on the shelves so that idea went out the window for now.
I hate having to rework my plans in the store but think on my feet I must.

Here's what I left Rite-Aid with......

2 x Excedrin Migraine on sale $3.99=$7.98 (of course I bought the 25% more product ones!)
2 x Clear men's shampoo on sale $5.00=$10.00
2 x Soft Soap body wash on sale $3.49=$6.98
2 x Colgate toothpaste on sale $2.99-$5.98
SubTotal.......$30.94

Coupons Used
2 x $2/1 Excedrin Video ValuesQ=$4.00
1 x $3/1 Excedrin ManuQ Rite-Aid mailed me=$3.00
1 x $2/1 Excedrin FBQ=$2.00
1 x $1.50/1 Clear Load2CardQ=$1.50 *
1 x $1.50/1 Clear ManuQ=$1.50 *
1 x $1/2 Soft Soap ManuQ=$1.00
2 x $2/1 Soft Soap body wash In-AdQ=$4.00
1 x $1/1 Colgate total toothpaste Load2CardQ=$1.00
1 x $1/1 Colgate toothpaste IPQ(coupons dotcom)=$1.00
Coupon Total......$19.00

$30.94-$19.00=$11.94
I used $11 in +Up Rewards and paid .94¢ OOP.

I received back $8 in new +Ups(2 x $2 Clear, 2 x $2 Colgate).
I have $24 in +Ups to spend/roll.
I don't have any +Ups expiring until 10/1 and I have a plan for next week already.

And I got 90 points(triple pts. until Sept. 30th) for this transaction taking this neglected card up to 265 pts. so far this year and I have one more week to use this card and get triple points.

Now I am off to process tomatoes, make coleslaw and iron and pack some fabric to mail out to buyers on Monday.
Then I'll straighten up the house if I don't go take a nap instead.  ;-)

*  These Load2Card and ManuQ CLEAR coupons expire today(hence my trip today), so get up to Rite-Aid before Monday if you want/need to use them.  More are expected in next Sunday's inserts(just in time for a Dove/Unilever Deal) but they won't help you with this week's ad.

Guess Where I Went Today?

If you answered Rite-Aid, you'd be RIGHT!lol

Actually I went yesterday afternoon too.
I went in on Friday afternoon with $14 in +Ups and used my Wellness card......

I'm do this quickly and not bore you with the intimate details because most of these deals ended Saturday night.

This lot of stuff cost me $.77 on my gift card after Qs/sales and used $5 in +Up Rewards.  I received $15 in +Up Rewards back(2 x $2 Pantene, $3 WYB Crest Rinse, $4 StingEase Max, 2 x $2 Oral-B Power Toothbrushes).  The Reach toothbrushes also counted $8 toward the J&J Spend $30/Get $10 +Ups Deal, so I just have to spend another $22 to get that $10 reward.

Used $5 +Ups, Got $15.....$14 going in - $5=$9 + $15=$24 +Ups.

Next Transaction was on BIL's card.....

This lot of stuff cost me $1.91 on my gift card after Qs/sales and used $16 +Up Rewards.  I received $26 in +Up Rewards back(2 x $3 Nivea Body Wash-part of the Gillette BW Deal, $10 Monthly WYB $20 Nivea, 2 x $2 Pantene, 2 x $2 Oral-B Power Toothbrushes, $2 WYB 3 $1 Toothpastes).

Started with $24+Ups - $16+Ups=$8+Ups + $26+Ups=$34+Ups.

Back to my card again and I bought this stuff.....

This lot of stuff cost me $.45 on my gift card after Qs/sales and used $6 in +Up Rewards.  I received $16 in +Up Rewards back(2 x $3 Oral-B Toothpaste, $10 WYB $30 J&J Deal).

Started with $34+Ups - $6+Ups=$28+Ups + $16+Ups=$44+Ups

And one more transaction on my Card again......

I spent $.34 on my gift card and Qs/sales and used $10 in +Up Rewards.  I received $13 in +Up Rewards back($3 Crest Rinse, $5 Lanacane, $1 Lanacane-a monthly maybe?, $4 Revlon WYB 2 beauty tools).

Started with $44+Ups - $10+Ups=$34+Ups + $13+Ups=$47+Up Rewards.
The Revlon tools qualified for a $2 Single Check Rebate as well.

So to recap, I put $3.47  of Out of Pocket expenses on my free gift card, brought home $244.34 worth of toiletries, grew my +Up Rewards from $14 to $47 and Rite-Aid is sending me a $2 cash rebate also.

I made a few mistakes this past week running my Deals at Rite-Aid but all in all?.....I was tearing it UP at Rite-Aid. ;-)

And I did a lot of this on Saturday......still product in the stores at the end of the week for a change.  I gave my fellow shoppers plenty of opportunity to get these deals this week, before I swept in and finished my shopping off on Sat. afternoon.   I detest shelf clearing but if it's 4pm on Saturday and the sale ends on Sat. night at 9pm, I will take the last 2 of something at that point......or maybe get a raincheck. ;-)

No excuse for dirty hair or teeth in this house now.....!

August Grand Totals so far this month.....

Value of items bought....$244.34

More Rite-Aid Fun!

So we had BIL's Wellness card at $82 toward the Resolution Reward.
I went back to Rite-Aid late yesterday before the snow hit and bought this.....

Basically it's the Theraflu deal again with a pack of lighbulbs thrown in.

3 x Theraflu on sale $5(must buy 3)=$15.00
1 x Lightbulbs on sale=$2.99
1 x had the cashier ring up .01 manually=$.01 *--watch the magic!
SubTotal.....$18.00

Coupons Used
1 x $3/2 Theraflu IPQ=$3.00
1 x $2/1 Theraflu IPQ=$2.00
1 x $3/2 Theraflu PeelieQ on package=$3.00
1 x $2 In-Ad Lightbulb Sales flyer Q=$2.00
Coupon Total....$10.00

$18.00-$10.00=$8.00 OOP
I used $8 in +Up Rewards to pay.
I received $5 back in +Up Rewards(for the Theraflu).

$17.99 toward the Resolution Reward total brought BIL's card to $99.99 which triggered the $20 +Up Reward to print.....yay!

Total +Ups earned this trip....$25.00

*-This Rite-Aid will add a penny or two to your total manually if you are that close to being able to use an +Up Reward.  I found that out last month when I was a penny below the amount needed to use an +Up Reward, and the Asst. Manager said they would/could do this.  Who am I to argue, right?lol

I went back in to shop to get a Tom's Deodorant on my card......

1 x Tom's of Maine Deodorant on sale=$3.99
1 x Lightbulbs on sale=$2.99
1 x Cella cherry w/wellness discount=$.26
SubTotal....$7.24

Coupons Used
1 x $2/1 Lightbulbs In-Ad Sales flyer Q=$2.00
Coupon Total....$2.00

$7.24-$2.00=$5.24 OOP
I used the $5 +Up BIL got for the Theraflu purchase and put the .24¢ on my Rite-Aid gift card.
I earned $3 +Up Reward for the Deodorant.

I could have had the cashier manually up my subtotal to $7.00 and not bought the cherry, using just the $5 +Ups and no OOP to pay.  But she had such problems doing it the first time, I just 'ate' the cherry.....er, the overage and the cherry.  ;-)

So we are finished with the Resolution Reward a week before the deadline of Jan. 28th to earn it.
Some of our +Ups expire on 2/4/12 so we don't need to go back to Rite-Aid for 2 more weeks, unless a great deal happens.....a great deal that we need!
