Not much frugal going on here.
* Didn't get lobster again at Shoprite...the sale ended Monday.
* We cherry picked loss leaders at Aldi, Dollar General, a restaurant supply store as they had the best price on Ground Beef($2.89)and BSCB($2.79).
* Went to OT and PT to hopefully get my strength back eventually. My supplement + Medicare pays for it.
* I sold 2 items on eBay last week...not without some drama. ;-)
* Something I get for my brother at Christmas had a rebate and they had the items at Dollar General so I got 4 more bags for $1.00 each and earned .50 back for each one. Kaching!
* Bought 2 different kinds of candy at DG and earned 960 Shop Kicks. I'll put the candy in Xmas stockings or give to my son.
* I found money!
3 errant carts at Aldi abandoned in the parking lot. Abandoned quarters retrieved!
Found Money The Past Week.....75¢
Grand Total Found in 2025....$6.37

DeleteCool beans on returning the Aldi carts for the quarters. Such good deals on the Ground Beef($2.89)and BSCB($2.79).
ReplyDeleteI used the $5 off $25 DG coupon that was a surprise to me bc it was for Monday through Friday. I went to the DG market in the town where I work and got tomatoes, small cabbage, diet drinks that I wanted but do not need to drink, cheese, turkey sandwich meat, bologna I do not need to eat, eggs, sour cream. I then went to the Pig and got 8 lb bag of potatoes for $2.99, a 2 lb bag of carrots for $2.00, fresh spinach, hot dogs for dog although I will occasionally eat one. I had errands to do in another town and drove there and since I was there stopped at their Food Outlet grocery store and bought more hot dogs to freeze, and chicken for 69 cents a lb, shredded Parmesan cheese, and sharp chunk cheddar cheese for $1.58. After work one day earlier this week I had to go to oral surgeon in university town and stopped at their new, large Dollar Tree and got a bag of Kit Kat mini candy bars. For some reason I found it humorous I left the oral surgeon and bought candy and was quite proud of my juvenile passive aggressive behavior… lol. Cindy in the South
