$168.73 total in $$

Total spent after rebates is $309.50

10,502 Pts.
4,555 Pts. on Swag Bucks
0 Pts. on My Points
350 Pts. on ShopKick
0 Pts. on TaDa
(I don't count these until I cash out for a gift card or cash.)

Before AND after rebates we had a very low spend month for groceries at least for us.

Leftovers going into next week...squash, green beans, roast chicken, fajita filling, leftover chicken breast(that didn't go into fajita), carrots beef and broccoli.

Here is what was planned for the this week.....

What is getting fixed and served at your house this week?

Was last week's plan successful, did you go off plan or did you not even plan what was going to be eaten last week.

Frugal Friday on Saturday.....the August 22nd Edition

Not much frugal going on here.

*  Shoprite had lobster on sale for $9.99 this past week to we treated ourselves and had lobster on two different nights.  yum!

*  We also cherry picked loss leaders at Shoprite and Walmart.

*  Something I get for my brother at Christmas had a rebate and they had the items at Dollar Tree so I got 5 bags for $1.25 each and earned .50 back for each one.  Kaching!

*  Hubs needed gas so he went to Sunoco since we have their card so he got .10¢ off the price per gallon.

*  I found money!

Found .36¢ total at 2 different Walmarts

Found Money The Past Week....36¢

Grand Total Found in 2025....$5.62

That's all I got.
What frugal things did you do this past week?

Videos I Like to Watch

When I worked in Maine doing theatre, one of the actors was also a lobsterman.  He invited us to go lobstering once and we had a lobster bake afterwards.

I've been watching this lobsterman a lot lately.  He's entertaining.

Meal Plan Monday....the August 18th Edition

Today would have been my mother's 91st birthday.  That's her on the right side in the photo.  She and my aunt, my father's sister were born the same year and month but 9 days apart.  My aunt is still with us and celebrated her birthday 9 days ago.  I can't think of any family members who have lived as long.  My mother died at 65 so I have outlived her and my father died at 70.  My maternal grandfather's sister made it to 96 and her husband died at 101 so we've got some good genes somewhere. lol

Anyway, Happy Birthday to you mom.  I wish I could give you a hug.

7. Saturday--Pork Stir-fry
I don't plan right now as I am on a very restricted eating plan.  Some days I have a protein shake or bar for dinner and Hubs has whatever he wants.  I eat a good amount of sugar-free Jello and take in a lot of water to keep my stomach full midday.  Breakfast is usually strawberries and yogurt, Greek yogurt if I can find it.
I am trying to drop the last 15 lbs. to qualify for a Jiffy Knee replacement.
