Poor Peanut the Squirrel

I just had to share this meme, stolen from Joe at Fat in Indiana.

My sentiments exactly......

Government overreach at it's finest.

  1. I know people will think I'm silly but this hurt my heart. It also outraged me. We are now a country where the state can come in and search your home with out legal right to do so.
They are robbing, raping, murdering around the clock in NY city.
People are pushed in front of trains,I saw videos of men walking up and punching elderly women to the ground.
    They are released without bail.
To go on to the next assault or murder.
But this you have time to do.
Thank God the squirrel police were there to save everyone.
Go without a warrant or evidence
and search an decent mans home for five hours?
    Seize helpless small animals
    And terrify then kill them.
I don't know why it even surprises me.
I have family in NY my husband has family in NY. We planned to go visit.
I'll never step foot in that state again. For all of the above reasons.

    1. I don't think you are silly at all. The "State" has had the right to violate you for decades. We need to take back our country from ALL these politicians no matter the party.

  2. That was my statement to Tommy--it hurts my heart. They took a motherless squirrel that had been saved and now had a loving home. They had to murder him to see if he had rabies. He did not. It is like burning a woman to see if she is a witch. Oh well. She is not because she burned. A true witch would have lived. Neither the squirrel or the raccoon had rabies! This was atrocious.
