I love all your boxes but this one has everything I need, like, and use! My garden is not so good this year. First it was to hot and dry, then too wet. I have been able to get lots of peppers, onions, and tomatoes. My herb garden is doing great. My best part of summer was having my 6 yr old grandson visit for 2 weeks. He fed the chickens and pigs for me twice a day and gathered eggs. We had fun playing games, catching tadpoles, and going for walks. I miss not living close to family.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing I've done this summer is to start swimming in my pool (almost every day). Swam 105 laps today (3/4's of a mile)!
ReplyDeleteNo garden, love chocolate.

We dug 5lbs of potatoes from the garden....

Sadly my garden is winding down but she was soooo good to us! Everything planted grew & flourished! We have abundance of tomatoes left. My family is close by and love to come out to the farm- so I love every summer day that the grandkids come out and run and play! (and I cook them yummy food!) Fridays are always the best deal on a grocery item-when you remind me that its Friday!! and it Friday freebie at Krogers.
ReplyDeleteYOu had me at candy (for the kids). NO garden but loving the city's farmer's market and getting ubber cheap organic produce from a gentleman farmer friend. Best deals: pork roast and center cut boneless chops @ 88/lb, BSCB @ 99/lb. Carol in CT
ReplyDeleteI most want to win the M&Ms.
ReplyDeleteMgaltier(at)yahoo.com
Awe have tons of carrots this year
ReplyDeleteFarmgirl33@ymail.com
We are swimming in zucchini and yellow squash, tomatoes and cucumbers at the moment.....would love to win you box of goodies!!
ReplyDeletecskies1@yahoodotcom
I didn't plant a garden this year because we recently moved to a place with more land. Hopefully next year will see a garden, so I can put up some produce. I would love to have all that candy. Lol
ReplyDeletedoveknoll@gmail.com
I plant in containers because of wildlife so have one cherry tomato plant which is doing very well. Have two regular for plant which is ok and for the first time we are trying to grow potatoes. We'll see how that goes. Cheryl. aerodog@zbzoom.net
ReplyDeleteWe have a farm with a big garden which unfort is only getting a little eggplant peppers and cabbage right now th deer are eating a lot

Please count me in. We had lots of company visiting this summer and I loved it. Move to Florida and people will come. txteddied@aol.com
ReplyDeleteThe best thing we did this summer was drive the auto road to the top of Mount Washington. It was a harrowing drive - but SO worth it!

My garden is giving me lots of cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, peppers and string beans this week. My pole beans have lots of beautiful purple flowers so I am hoping to get lots of them soon.
ReplyDeleteThe best of summer was a new grandbaby. Downside is that they live 10 hours away :( My husband LOVES M&M's
ReplyDeleteMy garden produced some tomatoes and cukes.
ReplyDeleteMgaltier(at)yahoo.com
Other than spending time at our Gulf Coast place, we planned nothing this summer, which suits me just fine! Kids don't go back to school until after Labor Day, so we still have a bit of summer left.
ReplyDeletevitamins are always helpful.

I've worked a buttload of overtime all summer so not much of a garden. Green onions and chives keep growing though with just a splash of water occasionally. Added all the overtime funds to savings so I'll take the trade off.
ReplyDeleteJen G.
My garden consists of regrown green onions from the produce department! Been hitting up the city farmers market, a 10 pound box of veggies for $10!
ReplyDeleteHi! I L O V E m&m's

I love M&M's.. but I would love to have the new toothbrush!
ReplyDeleteNo garden here. but, I am preparing for chickens. I would love anything chocolate.
ReplyDeleteMy poor garden drowned in all the rain we've had here on the east coast. We got one tomato, and the rest of the plants are dead. This is a real blow to our diet, and to our budget, but it is what it is.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, and love it! I'd love anything you want to send to me!

Our tomatoes aren't doing very well this year. Either they are being eaten by some critter or splitting and rotting.....ugh!

Its rained a lot here too in RI this summer.

Peppers and some tomatoes. Oregano, chives, and a huge amount of mint. I think the mint is taking over my yard. Oh well, it smells good when I cut the grass!
ReplyDeleteI'd be glad to get everything in that box, but I need some more toothpaste.

Hello Sluggy - the best deal that I saw at the grocery store in the summer was the 2 lbs of organic ground beef for the cost of one lb. Also, there was a great deal on haas avocados as well.
ReplyDeleteWe are on vacation in the Berkshire Mountains so that is the best thing we are doing. I have been eating breakfast and dinner on the deck almost everyday. The view is amazing and it is so quiet here.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing Ive done this summer was took a beach trip with my fiance. We went fishing and sightseeing it was a much needed get away!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!

The best thing I did this summer was go to the beach.

Chocolate is always good.
ReplyDeleteHello Sluggy! - The best thing I did this summer was to get a side hustle to earn some extra money to put towards my debt.
ReplyDeleteI live in an area that gets very hot and humid, so I'm glad summer is coming to an end.
ReplyDeleteMgaltier(at)yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteAlthough I won't miss the heat and humidity of summer, I will miss the lighter traffic. My commute is noticeably longer when school's in session.
ReplyDeleteMgaltier(at)yahoo.com
Best part of summer in my area are the crazy thunderstorms. Torrential downfall for 30 minutes and then sunshine. I purposely bought a house on top of a hill so flooding should never be an issue.
ReplyDeleteJen G
I love the long summer nights. I suffer terribly with SAD. So I am trying to find some natural remedies for that. Chocolate helps!
ReplyDeleteMy garden is producing tons and tons of string beans, I definitely overplanted. It just means I have plenty to share. I planted Blue Jade dwarf corn this year and am going to check one ear later to see if they are ready, I am so excited since i have never planted corn before.

Living in a beach city, I love listening to the ocean. Very calming.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to visit friends over Labor Day weekend.

I harvested two huge pumpkins!

Best part of summer this weekend was being able to line dry all laundry. We've had too many rainy weekends this summer! The husband recently said totally deadpan "we do have this thing called a dryer." I was only slightly amused.
ReplyDeleteJen G.
I picked a ton of tomatoes, 5 cucumbers, jalapenos, wax peppers and foot long pole beans today. The garden is doing great. Better late then never. We made bruschetta chicken pizza for dinner tonight to use up tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the last of the summer tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteMgaltier(at)yahoo.com
My son's favorite M&M's are the pretzel ones!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I almost forgot to enter - those pretzel m&m's are worth it alone :) Garden is still producing beefsteak tomatoes, but other than that, we pulled everything out and are getting ready to plant for fall.
ReplyDeleteI have canned/frozen more fruits and vegetables this summer than in a long time!!! M&M's are still a favorite at our house.
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor's garden is apparently still producing cucumbers like crazy. They keep catching me as soon as I arrive with another bag conveniently stashed in their garage. I have cucumber stalkers! :)
ReplyDeleteJen G.
It did not rain today.

So here is my last entry for this giveaway. If I had a garden, I would be growing cherry grape tomatoes and basil so that I can make my own bruschetta.
