What is getting fixed and served at your house this week?
Was last week's plan successful, did you go off plan or did you not even plan what was going to be eaten last week?
Any great deals on food at your stores this week?

I certainly can understand take out when you are so busy. I did a lot of that and restaurant meals when Hubby was sick. I know how tired you must bee. Try to take some time for yourself too.
ReplyDeleteWe got snow during the night so today was a pot roast in the crockpot day. I am sitting here getting very hungry because the smell is awesome. I am not planning menus yet. I will be in January. I got some hams today for $1.09 a lb and some other things at Aldi's so that I could use the $10./50. coupon that was in yesterdays newspaper.
Yes, my menus are very much suggestions only since the accident last week. I figure we've got extra cash so get take-out if it helps me out(and keeps me sane). ;-)
DeletePot Roast sounds good to me.
Back when I was married, my husband broke his leg. Taking care of him was exhausting, so I understand what you're going through. I found milk for $2.90 today at Walgreen's, which is a dollar off. I bought three gallons. One will go in the freezer. I'm a lover of milk.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I wish milk would go "on sale" here but the PA dairy lobby keeps that from happening.....
DeleteThat picture of your hubby's leg reminds me of that movie Misery-ummm, just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you get some rest. You both can't be down at the same time.
Funny you should mention that film....I've already threatened to get the sledgehammer and take it to Hubs other leg if he doesn't behave. lolz
DeleteHe's not pulling "Diary of a mad housewife" on you I hope.
ReplyDeleteWhew! I thought that was YOUR leg!! But dang. I guess HE'S out of the Christmas dish duties...
ReplyDeleteHey, it could be worse, Sluggy. Remember a few years ago when my hubby had 2 surgeries on each foot? He was in a wheelchair for 5 weeks and we lived in an upstairs apartment. I had to lug that wheelchair up and down stairs for every dr appt. The things we do for our Hubbies!
