Please make sure there is a way for me to contact you in your comment.
If you're not a registered Blogger User with your contact information on your User page, please put your email addy in your comment or email me your email addy privately when you leave a comment so I can get ahold of you if you win. If your Blogger associated user profile is a GOOGLE one with those Google Circles nonsense I CAN NOT CONTACT YOU as Google Circles doesn't show your contact info.
I again had to disqualify some entrants in the last giveaway because their profile is linked through Google and not Blogger. Please check your profile! And if you ARE entering through a Blogger profile PLEASE have contact info(email addy)in that profile. If I can't access your email addy I can't contact you so email me your email addy privately or add your email address to your User Profile. If you have sent me your email addy privately for a previous giveaway I still have it on file so no need to resend it for this giveaway.
If I can't contact you then you can't win. I have had to disqualify more readers than I care to due to this issue and I sure don't want it to happen again. Thanks!
So let's get this started!

I'm in for this one, Sluggy! This will be the first year I won't fix Thanksgiving dinner at home - with just three of us this year we decided to treat ourselves and go out to eat. I think you may already have my email address, but will send you an email to confirm. Thanks for another great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am already a follower (but have no idea under what name).
ReplyDeleteHi Sluggy,

ReplyDeleteFor Thanksgiving I like turkey breast, cornbread dressing, giblet gravy with boiled eggs, and cranberry sauce. Yes, it is one thing. I do like my mother's pumpkin pie, and I have the recipe!
ReplyDeleteI make all the food for Thanksgiving Dinner-Then I take it all to my father's house (he's 90). I was doing this when my mom was still alive but unable to cook. I don't know how I'm going to pull it off this year-my stove bit the dust and the stove at dads is 50 yrs old and only heats on one side. Have to find an electors roaster! Great giveaway as usual!!!! Would love to win and will share several items with the grandkids when we see them at Christmas. Meeting our son the Sunday before Thanksgiving for dinner to avoid driving on that day. Keeping the candy for me!
ReplyDeleteI have fixed Thanksgiving dinner every year except three for the last 49 years. Two were spent at my Mom's and one was spent at my DIL's sisters. It's nice when you get a break.
ReplyDeleteNo one gets drunk here but I sure feel like it after doing all of that work. I am usually exhausted after the dishes are done.
I don't make anything special. we have the typical dinner: turkey, stuffing, cranberry jelly, green beans and corn, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, etc. This year there will only be 5 of us so we will have lots of leftovers. I try to cook a 20 lb. turkey. Thanks for having a wonderful giveaway.
I am a follower. My favorite thing to eat is the turkey, especially if it is made by my mom. We alterate years between my family and hubbys family. This year we will be with my family and I can already taste mom's turkey!
ReplyDeleteI love stuffing with gravy at Thanksgiving. I usually host but this year my sister is hosting. I followed your blog.
ReplyDeleteI won't be cooking dinner this year - all of our children/grandchildren are coming for our son's post Thanksgiving wedding- just can't accommodate 40+ people. My daughter in law will be hosting and I will help some. Lovely giveaway. vaj-vah@hotmail.com ---
ReplyDeleteI am back for another entry. Thanks again, Sluggy!
ReplyDeleteHello -- love the give a way box! would use it for much needed stocking stuffers for Christmas!
ReplyDeletemy name is Ellen and my email is: ellenbt63@yahoo.com
for the last 14 years my husband and I have been married, we have always made a Thanksgiving dinner here at home for us and daughter - and for the last ten years includes our granddaughter and now grandson (and our ex-son in law for several of those years). this year, however, with my husband's cancer - we are not sure we are cooking a big meal. my husbands last round of chemo for this set of treatments is this thursday and he gets very sick from the chemo (aggressive treatment - three different chemo meds and one is a five day at home pump). so a lot of it depends on how he is feeling....we have bought a 13 pound bird - so I can make a turkey pie, turkey soup, turkey salad with the leftovers. My favorite part of our Thanksgiving is watching the parade and Christmas movies with my family that day - and looking at the Christmas tree !
I will be cooking I enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteThis year we are going to a fabulous brunch at the Nugget Casino in Sparks, NV. (Sparks is connected up to Reno) The old joke is - Reno is so close to Hell you can see Sparks. The Buffet is only $10 a person and since there are only 4 of us my mother in law who is 81 got to pick this year - we could cook at home or go out.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
My sweet daughter does Thanksgiving every year. She makes the most delicious stuffing, just like my mom made. Happy Thanksgiving! pamreif19@gmail.com
