This is All I Have to Say

I have 3 heat sources going at the moment in this room......the regular electric heat, the split unit system(which is waving a white flag of surrender at these temps)and a space heater.

And I am wearing a pair of sweatpants under my nightgown(which I never bothered to change out of today)and a wooly hat in the house.

After I hit "send", I am putting on a pair of gloves.

But the weather now is looking downright balmy......

Let me just make one comment before I go......

Global Warming my Ass!!!

  2. I hear you! We hit -19 last night and we just maxed out at -2 for the day with wind chills right now at -22. Wind chills hit as low as -31 last night. I wonder how Carla is doing way up in Canada?

  4. ROTFL!! I guess I can't complain then. It just hit a high here of 35. So much for showing off to the folks back up north. I got nothin' to brag about. I think the locals are in shock though.

  5. I don't have a hat, so I have a hood up. It is all the way up to 21 here. What? Where is it that warm? I wear gloves when I am not typing.

  6. DJ was off today, I put him to work! I made him replace all the plastic that the damned cat tore down. The heat is at 67 and kicks on every 5 to 6 minutes. I don't want to see how much this bill will be.

  7. As I say when I'm really cold, Burrsy Doessy!! You poor poor woman! I feel the same way about Global warming and it can kiss mine!
I thought it was quite ironic (so I laughed at them) that the global warming ship got iced in... Was that wrong??

  8. I'm no global warming expert, but they actually do think this weather is linked to warming of the polar caps. http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/06/us/polar-vortex-explained/

    Either way, stay warm!

  12. I'm not afraid...some Southern California folks are actually tough unlike many others. Oh Sluggy, I have so missed you. Got my quilting blog back...took forever. I so agree with the global warming stuff. It was cloudy and cold all day... a high of 62 I think...hehehe. I'll do a sunshine dance for ya tomorrow, so hopefully it will warm up faster then the darn weather people say.
    blessings, jilly
