My Daughter bought her first car this weekend.
A 2002 Hyundai Accent.
I don't think I've seen her smile so wide before!
She's in love.......
And since she bought the car, she has her own policy and is off our car insurance.
Woohoo!!
One down, two more to go..... ;-)
I just wonder how she's going to fit all her stuff in that cute little car when she moves to Louisiana?

Cute car! I know she is proud of her first car.
ReplyDeleteAfter the picture was enlarged, I could see her huge, happy smile.
ReplyDeleteI just imagine that Mama will be driving the van/SUV behind her, loaded with her stuff.
You launched her well.
No way I am driving 1300 miles(and another 13000 miles BACK!)just to take her a car full of crap! lol
DeleteNice ride! And you taught her right :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to daughter!
ReplyDeleteShe can ship some of her stuff UPS!
ReplyDeleteThat or rent a littlel U-Haul trailer....
DeleteCute car! No wonder she's so happy! Congrat's to her! And you! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice Hyundai! Very nice vehicle. I'm sure your budget will be liking the reduction in insurance. And don't underestimate the Accents. They have a lot more interior space than it looks. That's the kind of car I want when I'm ready to buy one, an Accent. Though probably looking for 2008 or about that age, so it can last me another 15 years or so.
ReplyDeleteThis 2002 was a good deal with 33,000 miles on it and $5,000. All the belts, hoses and things that wear out with age were replaced too....plus new tires. I think she did pretty well.
DeleteAhhhh, first car love. There is nothing finer!
ReplyDeleteYay for you and her!!! She's probably expecting you to follow her down with your bigger car and tote a bunch of stuff with you...
ReplyDeleteOr you can ship it!
I LOVE when kids become independent. Yes!!
ReplyDeleteShe is chopping at the bit to become independent. It about killed her to live at home this year while going to school after she lived on campus her first year.
DeleteThat's wonderful! I gave my daughter my little car when I bought Dougie the Dodge Dakota. On the advice of my insurance broker I kept the car in my name so the insurance was a bit less. I DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE HER ANYWHERE ANYMORE!!! :)
