Even though we are in the Dog Days of Summer now, the stores are gearing up for "Back-To-School Season".
Crazy early, right? But you know it's coming every year so get ready!
Everywhere I look when I go shopping it's aisle upon aisle of school supplies....from backpacks to those little erasers that fit on the end of your pencil. And there are also the food related Back-To-School items like snack or sandwich sized plastic bags, single serve fruit cups and juice boxes.
And Back-To-School Time also means what?
Box Tops for Education Time of course!
It's time to think about supporting your local schools by buying those General Mills products and cutting the Box Tops off to earn cash for your kid's school.
And where is someplace you can satisfy your Back-To-School shopping needs and find products with those Box Tops for Education?
Why WALMART of course!
Starting in mid July, head over to your local Walmart to find up to 70 participating products that each have 4 Box Tops!
For a limited time, you get more Box Top Bang for your buck on General Mills products at Walmart.
HERE is a list I found of participating products that sport the Box Tops on their packaging.
Walmart supplied me with a $25 Gift Card to do some Back-To-School shopping. I'll be picking up some General Mills products there as well, that have those Box Tops for Education on the packaging.
Myself, I love the fresh product products and the GM Flour. #2 son is all about the Pizza Rolls however. ;-)
MyBlogSpark and Walmart have also supplied an additional $25 Walmart Gift Card for me to giveaway to one of my readers.
If you would like to be in the drawing for this gift card, please leave a comment on this post about which Back-To-School item(s) you will be buying your child(ren) this year. If you don't have any children, then tell us about which is your favorite product to buy that sports Box Tops for Education.
Be sure you leave your email addresses in your comment if it is NOT accessible through your Blogger/Google profile information.
You can earn 2 additional entries by blogging about this Giveaway or posting it on a Message Board if you don't have a blog. Leave 2 more separate comments if you blog/post my giveaway and a link to that post.
I'll leave this Giveaway open until 11:59pm on July 28th. At which time, the comments will be closed and I'll randomly draw an entry to win the $25 gift card.
So don't just sit there, enter my Giveaway!

No school supplies here, but I save boxtops for our grandson, Theo's, school. He starts kindergarten this year!
ReplyDeleteI love to stock up on BC cookie mixes for a quick cookie treat. Oh, and for my girls that like to shop my pantry. LOL!
Since my baby is a Senior this year she will probably be getting binders and notebook paper until the beginning of the year, where each class tells her what she needs, OK I'm dumb, is a message board like Twitter or what, hanging my head in shame as usual! Totally Tach illiterate!
ReplyDeleteHi there!! My baby is also going to be a Senior, so it'll be paper, pens, and binders. Great Giveaway, Sluggy!! :)

My son will only use the Avery heavy-duty binders which cost between $5-7 EACH. Sadly, the gift card win would only cover some of them-- the darn things are so expensive! Good thing I'm scoring good deals on paper, pens, and other school supplies. Then there's that graphing calculator that I suspect the school will make him buy for geometry...

I don't have any children at home. But I would love to stock on Kleenex tissues.
ReplyDeleteLOL! It's a tad embarrassing, but apparently the Cottonelle wet wipes I love (for a variety of reasons - they're good at bathroom counter cleaning, for example) have the box tops on them. I regularly clip those out for a co-worker's kids to use at their school.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!
I will be buying a backpack and binders for my daughter

With one in high school and one in college, we need it all from shoes to paper. Please help me you sexy woman!
ReplyDeleteMy "baby" will be 33 in a couple of weeks, but I go shopping for school supplies every year when the office supply stores have their crazy-cheap loss leaders.
ReplyDeleteWhy? To donate them, of course.
My sister and I go together after church and get as many of the 1-cent crayons, 5-cent packages of notebook paper, etc., as we're allowed. By late August we have bags and bags of school supplies to take over to a local food bank. The parents who line up for food are desperate for pencils and paper to send with their kids to school.
I figure the big sales will start this Sunday. After we load up (there are three big-box stores within about a mile and half), we'll use a buy-one-get-one coupon to go out for lunch. Why, yes, we ARE wild. Thanks for noticing.
Oh, and if I won the Wal-Mart card? I'd probably send it to my niece, a soon-to-be-single working mom of two boys, ages 5 and 10. The littler dude starts kindergarten this year. Visions of a "Cars 2" backpack are probably dancing in his head.
I would get my daughter a backpack for nursery school! :-)
ReplyDeleteI will be buying my son a backpack & pencils
