The "It's Greek to Me" Edition.....
On one of our Wednesday appointment days earlier this month we went to "Yeero Yeero", the only Greek family owned restaurant we've found here. After figuring out where the front door was(which was far from obvious-it was in the back)the interior was very grand if overpowering visually. I think the building was originally a small bank which would make sense if you ever saw this place. Anyway, we just got Gyros and they were pretty good. Hubs wants to go back another time and try their Dolmades(stuffed grape leaves)as he loves those. I am not a fan. I'm all about a good Greek Salad and I make a wonderful Moussaka. A Greek restaurant in PA we went to had a Greek hamburger/cheeseburger but this place doesn't do one. More's the pity.
Onward to the meal planning!

1. Sunday--Chicken Parm, Roasted Asparagus
2. Monday--Lemon Pepper Chicken w/Zucchini in Tomato Sauce, Rice
3. Tuesday--Tacos or Taco Salad

ReplyDeleteMy spending for Mach is over 5000 because of the car needing pistons
ReplyDeleteI made a lot of pizza last night and now need to use stuff from the freezer. Found a buttload of Beyond and Impossible meat on clearance at Kroger today which required some freezer rearranging. It was $2.80 and $2.92 so I bought it all!
