I hope you have fun1 I have not been on a cruise, but it is a dream of mine to go to Alaska.
ReplyDeleteI have never been on a cruise, but would try to choose one with Coke products. I hate Pepsi.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteWe have been on only one cruise, and it was to Alaska! I think you are going to love Glacier Bay if you are on a Princess cruise. Hope you see a glacier calving. :)

Never been on one but want to do a cunard transatlantic crossing. Need to fulfill my titanic fantasy. Gerry t. merlinsfamily@outlook.com
ReplyDeleteI’ve never been on a cruise and can’t go anywhere as long as diabetic Zima the cat is alive. She’s a feisty girl so probably not leaving the house for years. Luckily she’s cute and keeps me entertained.
ReplyDeleteJen G.
I have never been on a cruise, but once while visiting the gulf coast, our family went on a dolphin watch to a pretty, little island. My husband told me that was likely as close to a cruise as we would get! Haha! Have so much fun! Thanks! Angie O.
ReplyDeleteI doubt you will be buying things at Walgreens since I hear Alaska is expensive. But, maybe you can make a dent using your magic. I suppose Kim will have to be taken to get her a Diet Coke. My friend who is too frugal took a free cruise and used a dolly to bring multiple packages of water and soft drinks aboard.
ReplyDeleteBeen on 5 cruises and Alaska was the best. Scenery was awesome. It was cold standing on deck whale watching.
ReplyDeleteDiana robb32557@gmail.com
I have not been on a cruise before, but hope you have fantastic time.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I would think of a cruise, as I'm slightly intimidated by a combination of darkness and a large body of water. I've been told with the size of a cruise ship this likely wouldn't bother me. Have a blast! --Angie O.
ReplyDeleteKim should smuggle a case of DC in an extra suitcase. I’ve flown with a partial box of wine and it was fine.
ReplyDeleteJen G.
I have never been on a cruise. With limited mobility, I would probably not want to go on a cruise now. Well, I never did want to go on one. But, I love hearing about cruises.
ReplyDeleteI think Kim will survive, but the first few days might be hard :)

I’m going on an Alaska cruise today too! Waited 14 months We were supposed to go last
ReplyDeleteJune pPlease enter me in your give way! Frugal living hints from your blog have helped me save $ for this trip! Maryhazard5@gmail.com
The last cruise we did was a 4 day Disney cruise out of Florida. It was Bahamas and their private beach. We did it after the parks so I got a little relaxing in before we went home. I love cruises.
ReplyDeleteWe went for a cruise one year after our wedding. I had health issues and we went to the Grand Cayman Islands where we had a stop at a turtle farm. We went to several other places but my heart was so bad back then I can't even remember some of them. It was fun and I liked all the lovely food options and entertainment that was on the ship. I have been on two more cruises since then. More to come.
ReplyDeleteYou should certainly sneak Diet Coke onto the ship!! Thanks. Angie O.
ReplyDeleteI'll be starting back to work today. Live it up for me!

I have never been on a cruise. However, a cruise to Alaska is on my bucket list. I hope you have a blast keeping Kim calm without her diet coke!
ReplyDeleteWe are all excited to hear about your cruise! Thanks for the giveaway. --Angie O.
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a cruise, so know nothing about them. I do hope you get to see some beautiful sights and some wildlife! I'm sure you'll still find a coin or two AND some diet coke for Kim, probably off ship. Enjoy your fantastic trip!! Debbie :)
ReplyDeletedon’t think we’d ever go on a cruise unless pets were welcome. And Dirty Daryl Dixon will never pass as a service dog!
ReplyDeleteJen G.
Went on my second cruise to Alaska. Made the mistake of going with my mom and my mother in law both! My mom is fun to travel with. But put the two of them together and they get very competitive and mostly about telling me what to do. One says - You're tired you should lay down and rest. Then the other says - No you're not tired. Go with me to do ...... I was pulled in two different directions most of the trip but still enjoyed Alaska!
ReplyDeleteWill you be picking up coins?
ReplyDeleteI would have picked a different cruise back in my Diet Coke drinking days. I had a 20 oz bottle in my hand in almost every picture back then. I stopped cold turkey when I found a worm in a bottle.
ReplyDeleteJen G.
Loved Glacier Bay when I went on my Alaskan Cruise. We had a small deck off our room and sat their an enjoyed the sights. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a cruise, but I sure am anxious to hear about your trip. Thanks! --Angie O.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was on a cruise right now. Our air quality is so bad from the fires next door in Northern CA. Next best thing would be - Calgon take me away. lol. Who remembers that? I would love a nice bubble bath but really afraid I couldn't get out of the tub. :)
ReplyDeleteAre you having fun?
ReplyDeleteWe did a world cruise that got cancelled 2/3 of the way through, due to Covid! But up to that point, it was very interesting. (We never got our money back, either. The cruise line went bust.)
ReplyDeleteI think Sluggy will buy clearance stuff and haul it home!
ReplyDeleteJen G.
Please don't throw Kim overboard! I like her blog too! LOL. Hope you all had the best time ever. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI have never been on a cruise but Alaska would be my dream cruise. I hope you have a wonderful time and Kim can survive with Diet Coke. I am on the main list
ReplyDeleteCan’t remember what I’ve posted and I don’t think some comments worked. But I’m greedy and love to win anything so I’ll add bet you found an Alaskan Rite Aid.
ReplyDeleteJen G.
My third cruise was a west coast cruise with my mom. We had a blast as usual. Haven't been on a cruise since then but hopefully one day soon!
ReplyDeleteHow is your AK cruise going? Ours is amazing! We were the only ship in Juneau and Ketchikan. Please enter me maryhazard5@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI don’t know if it’s the right season but maybe you spotted some whales?
ReplyDeleteJen G.
Hope you are enjoying your cruise. Are you finding, and picking up, pennies, etc?
ReplyDeleteLingerlonger8@Gmail.com
Whoo hoo! Looks like you ladies are back from your cruise. Hope you had the best time ever. Take care.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I’m terrified of ships! That aside, you should have delightful fish and seafood diashes. Vanessabrown76@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy other guess is you may have seen some wolves. I'm not that familiar but it seems like they had wolves on some survivor show set in Alaska.
ReplyDeleteJen G.
On cruises in the past one of my favorite things to do would be to order tea or coffee and a pastry to be delivered to the cabin in the morning. This allowed me a leisurely getting ready for the day. But sometimes didn't stop me from eating a full breakfast a few hours later. lol.
ReplyDeleteI hope your cruise was everything you had hoped for and then some.
ReplyDeleteLingerlonger8@gmail.com
I think you went for the chocolate and husband wanted to visit a brewery.
ReplyDeleteWe have been on 3 cruises, all with Norwegian Cruise Line, an awesome cruise line. We chose NCL because we could go and do what we wanted, nothing fancy or frou frou like dining with the captain. As hubby says, it's the everything cruise line. No schedule, no dressing up, diversified restaurants, sit where you want and so much more. We cruised out of NYC, Miami and New Orleans. The N O cruise was the year after Katrina and you could still see the water marks on the buildings downtown! We went to Belize, Cancun, Cozumel, Bahamas, St. Johns, Costa Maya, St. Thomas, Granada, St. Martins and NCL's private island (Stirrup Cay). We had a wonderful time each time we went.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful time and cruise again. You are so much braver than we are...we are waiting until covid's butt is kicked once and for all and we will cruise again!
Was the Sawyer glacier on your route?
