I grew up in the New England, went to college in Ohio, and moved to the southwest shortly after graduation, because I DO NOT LIKE THE COLD. Met DH who cannot stand the heat of the southwest, so we compromised, by living in the PNW. We might get a few freezing days, but generally, it's about 45 in the winter, and about 75 in the summer during the days, cooling to low 50's at night. I would still prefer the heat and humidity, (provided there's a.c. for sleeping), but had I not spent that time in the southwest, the Puget Sound would seem like a tropical paradise compared to New England.

I’m boring so i’ll bite. (Plus, who can deny chocolate?)

It was - 15.2 when I woke up this morning. Don't even want to know the windchill! Brrrr. I could use the flossers. I used up the ones I had and am now using old fashioned dental floss. Not nearly as convenient!
ReplyDeleteIt is freezing here. Little more snow on the way, followed by more subzero lows. I freaking hate winter. :)

It is very cold where I live and I do not like it at all! This is unusually cold weather for us and I will be afraid to open my gas and electric bill next month.
ReplyDeleteclarksrfun at gmail dot com
Great give away box. I'm not entering having been a winner before , but like the fun. You can't bet a good lotion so that is the treasured prize in my book.

I grew up in the Midwest and the winters there were colder and snowier than NJ, where I live there. I don't like extreme cold, but still, winter is beautiful! Today' s entry.
ReplyDeleteSmsteiner100@gmail.com
I needed a nail file the other day and realized I didn't have one in my house so the Revlon emery boards would come in handy.
ReplyDeleteI'm most excited about the chocolate.

We love Butterfinger's in our house but we have not tried the Butterfinger cups yet, they look so good and I would love to try them.
ReplyDeleteWas -15F when I went to bed last night. And more snow. I started working at school this year and although we have to go in some snow days, we haven't this week and I'm loving these days off.
ReplyDeleteWas 24F this morning. Took me 45 minutes to defrost my car and scrape off the ice without a real ice scraper as my DH had given it away thinking we would never need it in Pensacola. WRONG. Went to the Library which was closed due to weather! Tomorrow is another day ~ a warmer day I hope...
ReplyDeletetxteddied@aol.com
I'd really like to get my hands on that chocolate. :-)

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday! Better weather here today but still have a frozen pond. Could surely use the NIVEA shower lotion and the Eucerin lotion in your giveaway. This weather has really turned my skin crunchy. And I still "need" chocolate! Went to my local Dollar General store this morning to pick up another brand of dish detergent. Need something much milder than what I have been using. (like I said, this weather is really making my skin crunchy) Anyway, while there I found a great sale on their Christmas clearance--everything was marked 25 cents. At that price, I found several things that I needed for next year. Penny S.
ReplyDeleteLast minute Lisa here! Feeling lucky!
ReplyDeleteHere's another last minute entry. And Happy Birthday!
