Rite-Aid Haul This Week....Post #3

Back up to Rite-Aid this morning, before the snow is suppose to start.

Here's how I rolled/spent my $5 +Up Reward I received yesterday.....

2 x Tresemme Shampoo on sale $5=$10.00
1 x Clear Men's Shampoo on sale=$5.00
SubTotal.....$15.00

Coupons Used
1 x $2.50/1 Load2Card Clear Shampoo Q=$2.50
1 x $2/1 Load2Card Tresemme Shampoo Q=$2.00
1 x $2/1 Tresemme Shampoo ManQ=$2.00
2 x $1/1 Tresemme AdPerks VVQ=$2.00
Coupon Total.....$8.50

$15.00-$8.50=$6.50
I used my $5 +Ups to pay....$6.50-$5.00=$1.50 + .59¢ tax=$1.59 OOP

And I received another $5 +Up Reward.

Tomorrow I'll go back up and roll/spent that $5 +Up, using my Hubs Wellness card/account.  We can do this Unilever deal 2 more times with his account.

I also took up the receipt from Sunday when I bought the Dove Men's Shampoo and the 2 Dove Men's product VVQs I forgot to use then.  I got my $2 back I had spent on Sunday, so I am just out .12¢ for that transaction on Sunday.

Total cash out of pocket this week at this point is....$3.83 including tax for 8 Unilever/Dove products.

I plan on 3 or 4 more transactions this week, one for each day.

Total spent at Rite-Aid this month is $4.20 for $77.16 worth of toiletries.

I also went to the bank and paid the yearly sewage bill while I was out today.  I pay that bill in full in March each year so I receive a 3% discount.
Hey, it's something! lolz

That's $54.60 a year extra to spend somewhere else.  How can't stand to save when they have to pay bills, right?

  1. We pay our water and sewer bill every other month. It now averages $100 for water and sewer. That's a bunch of crap literally.
I just can't get CVS to treat me as well as Rite-Aid treats you. I should complain!

    1. So $50 a month for h2o and sewer isn't bad....that's $600 a year? Or did you mean $100 a month rather than per bill? Or water varies by usage but we average about $50 a month....when #2 Son leaves home it will go WAAAY down! lol
So add in sewage at $407 a yr. and we are around $1000 for both per year.

CVS doesn't treat me as well either, that's why I "heart" Rite-Aid more. lol

    2. I am another town at Mcd, using wifi. To find McD, I went into a CVS. While there, I scanned my card and got a coupon for free roll of paper towels. It's not much, but I took it. While I was trying to figure out where the price scanner on the machine was located, a customer, older guy came and showed me and told me the paper towels were free. It's unusual to find a man who is really into the savings and will admit aloud that he knows anything about coupons.

We must pay our utilities (electric, water, sewage, and maintenance) each month or get the electric cut off. My sewage depends on water usage, even if I water plants or wash the car. Since I never wash the car, that's no problem. I am going to catch all my plant water in five gallon buckets this summer.

  3. I have to call customer service tomorrow since I have been having problems since they replaced my card. It does not want to scan anything at cvs!
