Let the carols fly.....the tubes of wrapping paper have arrived from the garage.
It's an orgy of tape, scissors, bows, tags and ribbon.
The sound of crinkling paper is in the air.
The wrapping of presents has begun!
If you are of a "certain age" as am I, this song will stir something in your soul.......

Hmm... wrapping paper. I need some of that for the kids' blankets. And a huge roll to wrap the table. I should do it Office-joke style and wrap every single individual piece of the table. Mwahaha.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I'm a procrastinator! I always wait till last minute to start wrapping :)
ReplyDeleteI use very little wrapping paper since I cram gifts in a flat rate box and get daughter and dil to wrap them. I can get more in a box that way. One year, I just had my overworked daughter put gifts back in the two flat rate boxes and wrap those so she would not have to search for prettier boxes.
ReplyDeleteI do have and love wrapping paper. But, I bet you got that on sale after Christmas just like I do.
Yep, the song brings back many wonderful memories of Christmas pasts...especially when my Mom was doing all the work, and I was daydreaming about what I was getting....wish I could go back....
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Christmas shopping, but not a huge fan of wrapping. Maybe because I like things to look clean 'n crisp and my gifts always look like a 3 year old wrapped them lol. I'm starting this weekend.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that. I will probably start on wrapping this weekend if I can get some energy up to do it.....
ReplyDeleteWe're lazy wrappers - we use gift bags and then recycle them every year!
