  1. Hmm... I'm not a home owner or anything, so I've never really done any DIY on my own, but if I take anything from my dad, is to DIY all the way. He's fixed ceilings, holes in walls, replaced tiles, redid bath tubs, replaced showerheads... I have helped with a few of them, but he's always unwilling to teach me (ahem, because I'm a girl, whatever that means). But with the dawn of the internet and being able to learn anything from a computer, I've helped change tires and do minor car maintenances. So yeah, I'd probably do a DIY unless it's something massive, like redoing electrical wiring. Small construction stuff? I'm in.

  2. No DIY for us. The joys of apartment living. Yes!

I would wear those black nails. :-)

  3. Massive and costly AND small and cheap. Right now, I am contemplating gluing on some trim that snapped off the front of a cabinet shelf. I can do it, but dripping the glue is a consideration. So, I intend to drape the lower cabinet counter in plastic. This is special glue just for this job, bought on recommendation of the cabinet specialist in Lowe's. Other than this gluing, I am not really capable of doing even the small DIY projects anymore. I did enjoy all these things. I cannot afford help for large or small projects.

  4. I did meet someone I only knew online from another site. She was the one who owed me $750. It was a rocky road with her.

Everyone I have dated for the last 20 years has been someone I have met online. When I say date, I mean nothing more than meeting and having dinner. There is a much better quality of men online than I meet in real life. If a man passes the email test, the telephone test, and I meet him, MAYBE there is more. Not often!

I live in a small town and meet many professionals from Huntsville, AL and present or past employees of NASA or the space industries.

NO, I won't get killed by anyone I meet online. Okay, if I do, I have already transmitted to a friend their name, address, car tag, and who they are on the site and in my emails. I will get revenge even if I die. I tell each man all this and they say no one has ever been so careful or required id on first meeting.
