Since I've accumulated quite a supply of toys/craft items in the past month at Rite-Aid, I've decided to make a point in 2011 to 'buy' more of this kind of thing. I don't have children of the age to give these items to but I am going to gather them with an eye toward making a large donation to a local Toy Drive next Holiday Season. I won't go out of my way to purchase toys/crafts, but if I can pick some things up for free or close to it, I'll include them in my shops.

So did you shop at Rite-Aid this week?
Tell us about the neat stuff you got for a great price!
Sluggy
wow, I was thinking that a lot of school supplies. Maybe give them to a charity that is packing backpacks in August. Great shopping as usual. I will have to see if I have any of those coupons to try it myself.
ReplyDeleteBeen going back and forth all day with Should I try to hit Gold (need 164 more) or should I just use up the freebie coupons I have with one last $5/$25 to get some stuff we want/need and pretty much be done? I'll probably go with the latter because honestly I just don't know if I'm going to make enough use of the 20% (vs. the 10% I already have and will have next year) to warrant spending actual OOP this week :)
ReplyDeleteI love reading your transactions (as always)!!
When I was at our RA last night, no school supplies marked down at all and no empty pegs or slots - I'm guessing my tiny RA doesn't even carry this kind. Oh well, would've been nice :)
