Now we love us some Pillsbury Orange and Cinnamon Rolls in this family!
True.

And we really enjoyed the Free Sweet Rolls last Sunday morning for breakfast that MyBlogSpark and Pillsbury sent us. Oh, they also sent a cool Photo Album too.

But I won't be posting a photo of my warm and fuzzy 'family moment' from that day.
You see, while we do have fun family moments, my kids don't photograph well.
Let me rephrase that....
My kids won't behave for photos.

They LOVED the Pillsbury rolls but here is what happens when I ask them to let me take their pictures....

And this....

and even this....

So you'll just have to trust me that we had our 'own kind' of family bonding over Pillsbury Sweet Rolls.

  7. My favorite breakfasts are based in three religions.

When I was kid I was forced go to church and liked it mostly because our church had the best coffee hour afterward. I love coffee with crumb cake in the morning as a result of that.

I admit it, I'm a heathen (mostly, I just liked sleeping late on Sundays). I approve of many different religions -- most especially those that have good food. Can't help it, I was raised a protestant from a long line of Greek Orthodox. In a Jewish community. When one is religiously mixed up, good food certainly helps! That's why if we're going out for breakfast, we go for souvlaki. I also love pickled herring, bagel and smoked lox for breakfast. We served blintz, bagels and lox at our wedding (brunch).

But I must say that I have a thing for crumb cakes on Sunday morning specifically because of church coffee hours.

Hope I haven't offended anyone with this entry. Sorry to be so long!

  9. I don't remember much about Sunday morning breakfasts as a child. I am sure I was fed either cereal or cinnamon toast! I remember reading the comics in the Sunday paper and going to Sunday school...
