We are not big jam consumers here either and with the kids gone it just won't get used. I'm probably good to go now for 3 or so years. lolzslugmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728856166374248591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-24170818461616633162015-08-04T08:10:46.520-04:002015-08-04T08:10:46.520-04:00Well just move South(quite a bit actually)if you w...Well just move South(quite a bit actually)if you want early produce....at least I'm not sitting in front of you eating it...lolz
slugmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728856166374248591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-26780301147884313692015-08-04T08:09:50.838-04:002015-08-04T08:09:50.838-04:00Might work for that. Isn't Duck Sauce a glorified apricot jam? lol
I'd probably add fresh peaches to cook down if I used it for a sweet and sour Chinese dish though.....awful lot of sugar in this here jam.slugmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728856166374248591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-9852260490366271302015-08-03T22:21:44.405-04:002015-08-03T22:21:44.405-04:00Looks scrumptious and I eat a lot of jam. Or Peach chicken instead of orange chicken with rice? Blackberry (free berries we picked as they grow all over here) and we did a slightly reduced sugar version with some lemon juice (Mom's recipe). I was shocked at how easy it was! We still have enough for this year though and with our house reno I am skipping it until next year.Cheapchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158208632054014311noreply@blogger.com
