Once you eat a giant bowl of broccoli (nice work - I wish I ate that much broccoli!), your brain has more time to recognize that you're full, and by the time you get to your main course, you need more.<br /><br />I'd also consider more lean protein. But, trying to visualize what you're eating is great! I use MyFitnessPal (free!) as an option, even over a short period of time, to give me a handle on the outliers. I make it every morning ( I know, how dull! but I dress it up with blueberries, cranberries, seeds etc) around 7:30 and usually don't get hungry til about 2pm.
