I really don't plan to cook a turkey until Friday when exbf comes to help with things around here.

I usually do not have green bean casserole for Thanksgiving or Christmas, just green beans. But, I want it for Christmas. There will be turkey, dressing, gravy with eggs in it, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce.

Hey, that is what I had for Thanksgiving. I want exactly the same thing both holidays. We did that growing up and I did the same things with my family, so it is okay they are the same.

Since it is just me, I quit serving mashed potatoes and a few other things. There would be too much cooking for me to do now and definitely too much food.

When I lived in MO, a teacher called me and asked me if I would sub for him and not tell anyone that he called early. He was planning to go hunting and was going to call in sick. Lots of male teachers were missing that day, some sort of epidemic?Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14991571309786149363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-60938240153525315722013-12-23T16:07:32.315-05:002013-12-23T16:07:32.315-05:00I swear this whole eating thing is a detriment to ...I swear this whole eating thing is a detriment to my life. I have nothing planned, and nothing in my side of the fridge besides half a carton of eggs from September. I think it may be safe to toss them... I'll have some stew from last week, and after that, your guess is as good as mine. Oh, wait, we have that every night. LOL!

Tomorrow we are having our get together with MIL, our kids and grandkids, so it will be Christmas food. I am taking deviled eggs, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie and cheesecake. I imagine there will be turkey and dressing and usually a brisket at MIL's. It will be good. Christmas Day, hopefully we will have leftovers. Tomorrow & Wednesday we'll be having Christmas Eve & Day at my parents house. We're supplying the pomegranate martinis. :-)

Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday - we're going to be at our vacation house for the first time in 4 months. Cannot, for the life of me, remember what's in the freezer, so we'll be eating whatever is there & supplementing with a trip to the store. ;-) I know pizza is on the menu for the night that my nephews arrive.Hawaii Plannerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04760426766801381563noreply@blogger.com
