So now I'm using two books instead of one until I wrestle up the energy to finish the new one. Actually, I guess I should show my son too. I'm always mending a seam or sewing holey socks. Can't imagine just tossing that stuff out. Put that on my March To-Do list. :)

February was long and dull. I read Bridge to Terabithia with my girl for school. Cleared out several garbage bags of "stuff" from basement. Had monthly lunch with my Mom-friends. Stuck with meal planning. I know this is kind of off-topic but I needed to ask.
Does managing a well-established blog such as yours take a large amount of work?
I am completely new to running a blog however I do write in my diary on a daily basis.
I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my own experience and feelings online.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips
for brand new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-51840415849516842322018-03-06T23:57:17.387-05:002018-03-06T23:57:17.387-05:00I bought a blouse from a high-end store many years...I bought a blouse from a high-end store many years ago. One button fell off as I buttoned it the first time I wore it. upon inspecting the blouse, I could see all the little tag ends where the buttons had been sewn on poorly by machine. I was headed out to Birmingham for dance lessons for the girls and this was what I had on to wear. I grabbed matching thread and a needle and clippers. Since it was a loose blouse, a smock type, and there were only females waiting for daughters, I spent my time resewing buttons onto the blouse.

I have sewn buttons on my machine, starting when I was 14. Those buttons did not fall off. There is a way to machine sew buttons and have them secure.

The nice blouse was made shoddily. I might check the brothers one out. Amazing that life still gets done even when we feel like crud. I hope you are finally on the mend. My MIL is not doing well, so my husband is going down to see her and a few sisters who’ve made the trip. He’ll be gone several days. While he’s gone, I will watch lots of Sherlock on Netflix, walk the dog and (maybe) clean. I also have a new grand baby due in Sept. so I was thinking I may need to make a quilt. I don’t own a machine anymore and I don’t have a lot of fabric. I’m pretty good at hand sewing but I still need to decide if this may be more then I can accomplish.
DebbieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-91843300933267480412018-03-06T15:06:38.823-05:002018-03-06T15:06:38.823-05:00There is a lot of research done on families and ho...There is a lot of research done on families and how children are raised. No two children are raised the same in a family due to difference in age of parents, their experience, inherent difference in temperaments of children, new techniques parents try, parents who have more or less money as they get make more or less. First born children. as a rule are more rule-bound. True with me as a firstborn and son who is first born. Middle children do get squeezed between oldest and baby, true for my three, and youngest is funnier and uses humor to get her way. I had the same values with all my children but imparted the values differently. Besides, children are just different.

However, like you, I try to figure out why people reared in the same family are sometimes so different. I hope you do sell that house in Louisiana, your daughter can deal with a place to live when the time comes, you've been very very good to her in that regard. Sewing a button on a shirt is the most basic sewing skill lol. I can believe someone donated the shirt over that in this throw away societyCheapchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158208632054014311noreply@blogger.com
