It seems to even out for me over the course of the year. I aim for $400 a month all year so if I go over one month, I go under others. There were pork chops and stove-bought fried chicken for the meat-eater. The chicken was 5.99 so I bought two and froze one. (I’ve put in two 50 hour weeks and this girl is tired!) I cleaned the bigger freezer yesterday and came up with tacos, veggie sloppy joes and chicken breasts for the husband. They are soaking in It. dressing for the grill. I also have cooked and uncooked bacon ready for BLT’s. And, I made a huge pasta salad a few days ago that should last another couple of days. I think there’s enough meat and meatless stuff going on for both of us. We should be good with sides and vegetables, too. Hopefully, the 50hour week phase is done til Fall when i’ll be in Fl. for the birth of our fourth grandbaby!Debbienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-9120855102172101282018-05-28T12:14:14.886-04:002018-05-28T12:14:14.886-04:00I won't deduct $196.99 from June's food bu...I won't deduct $196.99 from June's food budget, nothing that formal. It's not like if I spend more than $4800 for the yr.($400 x 12 months)I don't have the cash to cover it elsewhere in the income.
I'll probably try to reduce food/toiletry expenses over the next few months.slugmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728856166374248591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-90183652303786972902018-05-28T12:05:26.092-04:002018-05-28T12:05:26.092-04:00Using up stuff and hoping to not spend anything un...Using up stuff and hoping to not spend anything until Thursday but won't be too disappointed if I do as I gave myself a self imposed 4380 challenge-all inclusive. I used dehydrated celery, a while onion, and bell pepper to season. Later today, I will boil eggs and make potato salad. I have plenty of salad greens and other food, so I will just make up vegetables to go with the chicken. You know I cannot make a menu, or I won't.

There were specials but nothing I wanted to buy or needed. Oh, Miracle Whip is reduced after I broke down and bought some last week!Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14991571309786149363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1611711622146875201.post-68737961899021639002018-05-28T11:02:42.717-04:002018-05-28T11:02:42.717-04:00Sluggy, how do you address your overage? will you ...Sluggy, how do you address your overage? will you deduct that sum from your usually budgeted allotment for June groceries?CTMOMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04825780992878036362noreply@blogger.com
