Here is this week's "food plan".

What we need to buy for this menu......steak, tortillas, peppers, mushrooms.  I got 1/2 off crab meat last week and a bag of potatoes so we are good on those items.  Garden grown tomatoes will go into the sauce for the manicotti and the salads.

What is getting fixed and served at your house this week?

Was last week's plan successful, did you go off plan or did you not even plan what was going to be eaten last week?

Any great deals on food at your stores this week?

  1. I have to actually haul my butt to the grocery store (likely tomorrow) so am eating whatever is in the fridge and freezer. Last night pot roast started in oven, finished on BBQ. Tonight Baron of beef from leftovers (using leftover frozen hamburger buns toasted) with salad. Still have tomatoes producing so eating those up as they ripen (giving mom the extra ones). Good deal on some 50% off meat this week at my expensive grocery store (the one I only go to for that exact reason, they always have stickers on their meat).

  2. Chicken and vegetables as usual. My one big plan is to have dairy on Friday when I am going out to Ruby Tuesday for my birthday meal. The EpiPen is coming along in case my mammal allergy tries to kill me. If I can find my $10 KFC card, I will eat there Tuesday. It's not exciting, just healthy.

  4. Your shed is my laundry room. I am almost afraid to even start in there. There is no telling what I might find!
