  3. ya gotta be a genius to figure out all thses crazy gimmicks. My Rite Aid has noting like that here. one only gets a special discount after having spent XX dollars in the store. The problem is reaching that amount isn't as simple as you'd think because the cost of your prescriptions doesn't count toward the total. Most of the other crap in the store is more expensive than anywhere else. So, I don't get the charm. I'm there because it's the choice of my prescription plan. Otherwise...

    1. Nah, not a genius, just stubborn.lol
You should be getting 25 points per rx filled(except govt. funded ones)toward the 1000 pts. needed to get the Gold/20% reg. price level.
I agree the reg. prices are mostly a rip-off but if you combine the sales prices with using coupons(stacked if available)and pay with +Up Rewards you CAN get out of there with little money out of pocket. You just have to learn/know how to work the drugstore game system.

It's true you get a discount once you achieve a silver or gold level but I hardly ever use that discount since if something is on sale the discount doesn't apply(and usually the sale price is lower than the discount price anyway).
I'm heading back in a bit to spend most of my +Ups on Tide and Dawn today. I'll spend under $1 out of pocket and earn a $10 gas card.
The deals at Rite-Aid vary from so-so to great....you just have to know which week it's worth stepping into the store.
There are sites online that give you help figuring out what is worth picking up(and what coupons/etc. to use). At my age, I like that working this game keeps my brain in shape. lol
