Again, the Motrin, the Finish Quantumatic & the Rembrandt(when I bought 2 in the same transaction and paired it with the $1/$10 Oral Care wellness Q)gave overage.  The Pantene, Purex and Hair color were free with sales/coupons/+Up rewards/rebates or a combination of any of those.
I went to the 1st store looking to buy Purex sheets but they were out so that's why I stopped at the 2nd store on the way home.  Being out of Purex sheets meant I had to changed up the plan in store #1 but I had other options and coupons to use so no big deal.
You will note for the record that I am up to 9 cans of Hash.  I'll have to hit an additional Rite-Aid location to get more as none of them seem to stock very many cans. ;-)

Bringing forward the Monthly Totals....

Total Cash I'm getting Back=$70.98
Total Gift Cards I'm getting=$60.00
+Up Rewards left to spend=$27.99

**I just realized I did a transaction I forgot to account for 2 weeks ago involving diapers.  I'll post that one  and add the results to the monthly totals tomorrow.  My OOP was something astronomical like $6!lol  As always this was put on a gift card..... ;-)

  1. How can you use so many $5/$25 purchase coupons and not get in trouble for it? Do they say anything to you at your Rite Aid? It seems that I can only get three per month. Is there a policy that says you can use more? I would love to know about it. Thanks.

  2. Anon--I frequent multiple Rite-Aids so 'getting into trouble' is not an issue here.
The AdPerks/Value Video deal is you earn the $5 off $20(and this month there is also a $5 off $25 Q when you watch the Wellness video)after getting 20 credits. When you go to print any of the AdPerks/VV Qs you are prompted to choose how many copies of the coupon(s) you are printing that you want to print. Heck, you could print a hundred or more of any of these coupons.
Personally, I used 1 $5/$20 for my transaction, 1 $5/$25 & 1 $5/$20 coupon from my BIL's AdPerks account as these transactions were for his SCR.

As far as I know corporate has NO written policy on how many $off a $purchase other than you can only use 1 '$X off $X' purchase coupon per transaction.
That being said, each store has some room to amend/restrict coupon usage within the parameters of the corporate policy. If someone where to try to do 10 purchases one after another using multiple of the same coupons and clearing the shelves of the store on certain products then I could see why they would restrict one.
Some stores are stricter, some are not.
Like with BOGO sales and using ManuQs.....RA written policy is you can ONLY use a Q on the item you actually pay for. But I find some stores will let you use 2 Qs anyway and some hold to the Corp. policy of 1 Q only. It's all in the stores interpretation I guess of the policy.

  3. I see your point about printing it as many as you want. I was thinking that if Rite Aid wanted to limit those, then they would put a limit on how many you can print.

I was just reading through their policy on BOGO items and it specifically says that if something is BOGO, then you can use two coupons as long as the price for both will not go below zero dollars. I will have to show my cashier that next time. I have had issues with that one before.

I have been doing well with my shopping at Rite Aid, and I just started a month ago to really do coupon shopping. Blogs like yours is what keeps me going. And it is so addicting. I live in a very small town with one Rite Aid so it is harder for me to be using the $5/$25 Qs because there are only three different women that work there and they are very nice and I don't want to abuse the nice deals I have been getting there if you know what I mean.

Thanks for posting your deals and keep it up. :)

  4. Yes, the policy states 'up to' 2 coupons on a BOGO situation, however both my most local Rite-Aid and the Corp. customer service guy I spoke with a couple of months again interpret that to mean that you need to use BOTH the coupons on the item you aren't getting free.....this means you have to use a Manu. coupon and stack a store or AdPerks etc. coupon on it.
Now I bet if I called corporate customer service again and got a different guy/gal, they might interpret the 2 coupons thing as 1 coupon on each item=2 coupons.
For now I just avoid using 2 Manu. coupons on a BOGO situation in certain stores. I have pretty good relationships with the clerks and managers in those stores so I don't want to wreck that by pressing this issue. The majority of the stores around here let you us 2 coupons(1 on each)in a BOGO situation so I just use them there.

Congratulations on coming so far with your hounding at Rite-Aid! I know what you mean about the addictive nature of getting a deal. ;-)
Keeping on the good side of the cashiers is always a good move. I'd suggest taking in homebaked treats for them at Christmas...bribery couldn't hurt, right?lol

I am in a similar situation here as we only have 2 Wags(it was only 1 until a couple of months ago)and it's a 24/7 store. It was near impossible to find the deals on the shelves as there were too many hounders working this one store and they would hit it at 12:01am. Even if I got there early on Sunday the shelves would be bare so I just give up w/Wags.

    Thanks for the encouragement...8-)
